No issues ever with UHaul. Clean facilities, easy check in and even easier check out. Besides people blocking the dock just using it for parking and not actually loading. The communication that we experienced was a bit aggravating .simply because we talked to numerous people throughout this process and everybody had different answers, different amounts .they really had poor communication from the start and throughout the process. We talk to numerous people throughout and when we went to pick up our you box there was still confusion about the loading and unloading and trailer drop off, we were told that we could drop it off in the city that we live once we picked up the trailer and that wasn't the case ,it was very inconvenient and costly to us.Phillip M.

I returned to the uhaul facility 5 min until close. I had the employee come to the door as I was walking up and lock the door then hurry away. I returned my truck but noticed a discrepancy in mileage. I stopped one of the guys on his way out to show him. Then he says oh yeah you'll have to speak the manager as he quickly got in his vehicle to leave. Then I called for the next 2 days trying to get a hold of Eric the manager to be told he couldn't do anything. He wouldn't even listen to the fact that I drove off the lot with 1/2 a tank of gas. Put 3 gallons in to get it back to 1/2 and there would be no way that would happen with 54 mi driven.Anitra E.

Poor communication. Was assured by several different areas of UHAUL that I would get one free month of storage due to the hoards of money I paid them for a truck and trailer and then when I got to the facility to unload my belongings, i was told they had so many people renting storage from them, that they didn't have to honor the promotion. I knew it wasn't the fault of the agents there, so I agreed to pay their service fee, went through all the paperwork after a 15 hour drive and when i got to the unit , there was a lock on my unit! Thank you for the truck. The staff in haltom city Texas was extremely professional and helpful. The staff in abq seemed confused and said they handle lots of complaints. After being assured by several areas of UHAUL that I would get a free first month of storage, I was told by the staff at the Coors/i40 location that they didn't have to honor the free month BC they "were at capacity". After a 13 hour drive and lots of other choices I could have made had I been told this upfront, I decided to pay your fee and when I went up to the storage, there was a lock already on it. The guys who are managing the business have been incredibly rude to myself, friends, and family. This was one of the worst U-Haul experiences I have had. The truck was filthy, It did not have a full tank even though they said it did. They refused to walk outside to look over the vehicle with me. Then when I came back the manager who checked my truck in practically threatened me. The whole thing made me feel uncomfortable. I will never use this location again.MUHAMMED B.

The location was nice and it was easy to pick up. The drop off was a little lengthy because of all that we had to do to ensure we did it properly. The light in the trailer did not work. Reserved my U-Haul online, confirm email stated someone would call me within 24 hours to discuss. No one ever called. I called the day before my scheduled move and turns out the location I selected to pick up the U-Haul at was actually closed so I had to pick it up at a different location further than expected. As a first time uhaul driver that made me a little uneasy and I had to replan my route. That was the only real hiccup after that everything went smooth.Shaniqua H.

The initial part of my uhaul experience was good but the receiving end was horrible. The uhaul Location where I picked up my container was horrible service. Very disappointed and was inconvenienced in so many ways but that's smother review for another location.Vince V.
Movers were somewhat inexperienced moving my piano from the uBox to the living room in my house. I had to direct them where to place the two-man strap under the piano. They also failed to protect the wood from the metal cinch on the strap and nicked the finished wood on one side of the piano.Stephen K.

My issues were not with the u-boxes. It was with storage. I moved out of town. I needed to access the boxes and requested them to be pulled in advance, when I arrived they had not been pulled and nobody was available to pull them. I had to come back the next day and it totally messed up my schedule. A second time I came to empty them I was assured they would be pulled. When I arrived only one was out. The staff was sooooooo nice and helpful!!! They answered all our questions and made us feel at home. We were on the fence about getting a storage for our extra items and your staff is the reason we decided to get one. The tools (carts dock, truck, even the lighting and seeing mouse traps made us feel so much better about renting with you). There was only one person who was able to help of the three in the office and took a while to get ahold of at the time our reservation was scheduled for. The online system was put in and checked for drive up unit and one was not provided through the online system. A refund for issued for later but was run again for a new unit. When we got to the unit, it was locked and we had to go back in again. Then the alarm was disarmed 3 times and still went off. Nothing but confusion. We we offered 30 days for free and dud not fet it when arrived at facility. We had to open a investigation 3459111 had to pay up front and WE will be reimbursed after 3 days. Then when I vacated the premises I got a few calls/emails stating that I owed money and had a late fee. Erik and his team do an amazing job at this facility. Although my wife and I moved to Washington State in Decemeber, I felt safe knowing that is unit so secure. I rented a 5 X 5 unit, then immediately upgraded to the next size (5 X 10). This process was easy. My first visit was very good. The associate was super friendly, fast and totally helpful. My second visit to upgrade went very well (associate helpful) but the second unit that I was upgrading to had floors that were dusty/dirty and riddled with rat/mouse poop. My experience here was so good!!!! I haven't seen Costumer Service like this in a very Long Tine. First thing first I just moved her to Albuquerque from Michigan 4 days ago. The place where I actually had to drop my Uhaul at did not have any storage space, so I came across 1801 Atrisco Dr and I meet Joseph!!! He is wonderful!!! First he was so welcoming to us being newbies here in Albuquerque. And he was even able to let us check our truck in at this location. When he showed us our storage space he was very thorough. He also gave the customers in front of us that same treatment so I know he does it with everyone. The next day he was even more helpful along with his coworker Isiah. Last time I used uhaul was July 2020 had no problems renting a truck with my DX card issued to my by the federal govt for my retirement benefits to be monthly deposited . I thought all locations were managed within the same boundaries ; however I have learned this is not the case. When I went online to reserve a truck I used the same process I used the last time I used uhaul got the same prompts saying that I couldn't use my DX card to rent the van but I was able to rent a small truck with my DX card. This time I reserved the truck ,went on the day of pickup and without running my card my form of payment was denied . So for the first time in over 30 years I left without getting the truck . When I got home I called my Son's widow my failure to getting the truck because of their "NEW" rental requirements she had to call a friend to pick her up to bring her to U-Haul to pay for the rental . The bottom line is this uhaul should have plainly stated all the requirements needed to rent U-Haul equipment on the U-Haul home page and not have a runaround !!! I had no problem reserving the truck with my DXCard but it was denied as payment . What kind of run-around is that.Stephen L. | Premières impressions

We arrived at the storage facility a few minutes before 9 am as we had scheduled movers to come at 9 to help us move the contents of an apartment. We were not able to enter with our access card. There was another man who had been waiting there since 7 am also, unable to enter. When that man saw an employee, he asked to let him in. The employee yelled back from the parking lot " just swipe your card" when the man responded that he had, the employee said "you probably didn't pay". At that point I said,"I can't get in either", to which he yelled "did you pay?' I said yes, to which he said sorry I have to move these trucks, you're just going to have to wait. When my movers arrived, I again implored him to open the facility, since the movers were paid by the minute. The employee then did open the main door, and said if you open your unit it's going to alarm, and I can't deal with it until later. We moved out our things, and when we were getting close to the end, I went to the front office and joined a long line of customers, and when I arrived at the service counter, I asked to close the account.
