It was convenient and easy to pick up and especially to drop off after hours to just leave the truck and drop off the keys in the box.
I had a truck I couldn't use. Took it back and got a smaller truck. The bill was not changed. I got charged for a 26 ft and left with a 15 ft truck.

I got called at 8am to let me know my dolly was not available at the reserved location. Found one close by at another location. I had checked in online. But then had to still do the entire checkin process at the store. Total waste of time. Then they wanted a second alternate contact. (One is no longer enough?!? And they had to call my contacts and talk to one of them before we could finish checking in?!?!? Absolutely ridiculous! Then when I returned it the return line was backed up onto the street and no one around to unhitch the dolly. Finally found one very nice overwhelmed employee who took care of me before going off to find his coworker. I used to rent a motorcycle trailer on a fairly regular basis. The unnecessary hassles led me to go out and buy my own trailer. This time I needed a tow dolly. If there where any other company out there, I would definitely use someone else. Uhaul is lucky the other guys won't rent trailers without using their trucks.
The staff was extremely efficient and friendly.
The blinker lights worked perfectly and that was a great relief.
I did everything on my mobile device. So when I went to pick up my truck, I expected everything to be ready to go. Well the blankets that I ordered were not inside the truck and I guess the attendant had no way of knowing that I needed them. So I guess in the future, if you order anything other than just the truck, make sure that you get everything you need from the attendant before leaving.
Uhaul needs to revamp how they check out a customer. This two person verification is ridiculous especially having to do it every single time i rent a trailer from you which is about 3-4 times a month.
I can't think of anything I would change. Everything was smooth with no problems or glitches. Smooth checking in. Smooth checking out.
With the situation at hand and from the three different locations I have use in this area in last month by far this one is the best from the guy who details them to young lady with red hair and the young man with the beard they were the most courtes and knew there job well the most professional in handing the busy burst great job
First trailer had a hole in the roof... they immediately swapped it out for a different unit upon discovery

Your local GM Kayla Harrington turned a poor experience to positive on a Sunday afternoon. She has much work to do to correct the poor experience and lack of of customer service from the group that provides on site customer service.
Easy in and out. Great service.
Great friendly service, very knowledgeable about equipment. And the help I got was great.

Your technician went above the call of duty to make sure the lights of the equipment interfaced correctly and safely with the wiring of my vehicle.
Multiple issues with the trailer including lights. This delayed me a full loading day.

The young lady taking care of my transaction informed me that I would need to supply her with to references phone numbers and would have to confirm one. She called my wife. I have rented from uHaul 100's of times throughout my 52 years and never had to do this! How invasive, ridiculous and off putting! I signed a rental contract and supplied my drivers license & a credit card!
First contact with some skinny bearded "dude" was poor. His lack of customer service skills is lacking. Upon entering the office there was no one there. I waited patiently and finally this "dude" comes in. He rudely tells me I have to park my truck in a parking space before I do anything else. I get it, but he was acting like a total ass. Not looking for an apology for me having to wait in an empty office, but he could have been nicer upon greeting me. And to boot, he tells me he's the manager. Finally a young lady came in and took care of my reservation. I've met her before and she does a great job. Lastly another guy meets me in the lot to hook up the trailer to my truck. He did a great job and he was also there to greet me when I returned the trailer a few hours later. I like this location, it's convenient to my house, but this "dude" needs better training. Maybe he had a bad day, but either way, if he was on "Undercover Boss" he would be fired.
Because they lied about where the gas gage was and take a picture and they wanted to charge us $45 because the girl gave us an empty tank and put that it had more gas .....advise to anyone take a picture of the gas gage because they lie about where it ACTUALLY the girl lied and we don't appreciate the hassle!!!! ☹ï¸ðŸ˜•🖕ðŸ»
Manager has zero personality and customer service skills.
It was a smooth rental, and the cargo van was clean. Nice people!
Your 800 number didn't work. Took over an hour to figure out what one CSR could have done in five minutes - if I could have reached one. When I finally got a CSR thru the local number all was really good from there. Overall really good but a very rough start
The ignition kept locking up. Warning lights on for the truck to be serviced. Truck drove like the transmission was slipping. I was thankful I only had to go a few miles.
All of the staff I encountered was kind & efficient. I will definitely use this location again. Thanks for making my moving process a breeze🥰.
This location was steady and a bit understaffed. The two ladies done an amazing job helping the customers and made sure to greet everyone as they entered and waited. When returning the equipment we didn't have to go inside as the kind gentleman had a handheld device and completed the process. Your location, 8222 Dorchester Road, is truly a disgrace and the defin of POOR customer service.
Staff was very helpful. Gentleman tht put the hitch on was fast and friendly.
Kayla is a great general manager and runs a good operation. The housekeepers name is sam and she does a great job at keeping the units and surrounding areas clean and welcoming .
My husband paid per mile to drive to Columbia and back round trip. There should be a program that allow you to pay a lump fee for a trip past a certain amount of miles.
This location has some of the better staff I have worked with at different locations in Charleston.
It is a difficult parking lot without enough room to pull in and out of traffic

Nothing everything was great. I was greated within 15 seconds of entering the building. Everything was explained in detail and all my questions were answered

All the Ladies that help me were great, they moved trailers, hooked up wiring and safety chains and checked lights. never seen a female crew that did what they did by themselves. Even unhooked the trailer when i returned. Great crew don't change anything, if you do anything add a person to decrease waiting time. or a kiosk for people to check in, make payments
The truck handled terribly. I could not drive over 25 MPH because the front end shook so badly.
Everything was great, only issue i had was with the moving Helpers I used in Florida. I will not recommend that company to anyone i know.
Upon removing boxes from storage, all stored along the cement wall had mold. The boxes on the floor had water damage. We were on the second floor and unsure how they had water damage. Shelving units - the shelves themselves, also had water damage on the bottom and therefore are no longer useful. Given that the price of the units is so much higher than other storage facilities, and our products stored had damage, I would not recommend Uhaul for long term business storage..

The manager was nice, she did what she could. But very unorganized, too much equipment on site. Storage space I was given was already used, I was given a smaller unit that I had to make it work.

Owner was very rude and has very, very, very poor customer service, he even went as far as yelling at me, blaming being out in the Sun he forgot what he said to me, storage was never used got a refund

Despite issues beyond their control, they were very nice and accommodating. Sebastian was especially helpful and aquired a moving van and storage shed for me.
The staff were very helpful and friendly. We waited a long time to get processed tho.
Nobody seemed to know what was going on, spent hours on phone with call centers, a week delay getting access to the box, then dropped off in the wrong spot!
Apparently; the manager (never met) is money hungry and senseless. I don't EVER want to hear from him or anyone there, in any, way, shape or form. Told the manager if he kept harassing me, I'd sue.
Awesome customer service! I was mistakenly double charged for renting the van due to computer glitches but it was fixed and they were kind. I appreciate the urgency and willingness to take care of me.
Jared the manager went above and beyond duties to make sure our experience was great.
Staff seemed annoyed that I showed up to empty my ubox even though I had called to set an appointment. They were all standing behind counter chatting, and at first completely ignored me.

Did not see the unit before signing. It's humid and grungy. Opted to cancel, but canceling remotely took 5 phone calls and no responses from the office. Do not recommend - lacking customer service.
Owner/Manager didn't close out my account until 2 months later (Uhaul error). He started standing mail to my ex-husband house for my current husband 😣
Was impressed how a crew of only 3 (2 at any time due to alternate shifts) manage to maintain operations/storage/Ubox handling-fetching for customers/attend the counter w no wait. Kudos, Team Jarred!

Although the facility provided a safe storage, entry locks were frequently broken with AC either being inop or dripping water all over the floor. An increase in rent did not seem reasonable.
The team at this location made my move very easy. I also had to get a last minute storage unit and that transition went smoothly as well.
Left some things in one of yalls units over the summer months- the air conditioning was key! Felt peace of mind with my stuff being here.

Good, friendly service with help knowledge for questions or concerns. I would definitely recommend the U-Haul service and/or the storage units.
So many completely negative experiences with the Uhaul boxes. And the first two questions aren’t relevant but the system is forcing an answer.
Everything was very good and nice
I canceled my account at the location, a couple days later I got numerous letters about a bill and late fees, I called everyday and was told that someone would call be but I never got a phone call.
