I am a frequent business customer of Uhaul renting several truck monthly to make our deliveries. I rented and open trailer and retuned it 2 hours late. the trailer was unhooked from my truck and immediately attached to another individuals. I was charged for a 2nd day though the trailer was rented to someone else. iI should have just kept the trailer another day if I was paying for it. We will be looking for another source for future truck rental. Glad we were a Valued Customer!MARION H.

This location is under staffed and poorly organized. The location is very small for the amount of equipment. Only two staff members working and could not handle the amount of business. It is very hard to get into and out of the parking lot.Matthew B.

It doesn't really matter what U-Haul place you use. You hold does not cut you a deal they are very impersonal and they nickel and dime you for every last damn thing. If I could choose any company but you haul I would.MATTHEW H.

Per my previous comments regarding the trailer coming disconnected from my hitch on the interstate (this location was not responsible for this) I contacted this location by phone because I was just a few miles away from their facility, hoping perhaps someone could come out and give me a hand. I was abruptly put on hold 4 separate times when I continued to call, to the point that I was screaming "I have an emergency!!" when someone would answer but I'd immediately be put on hold. I finally called the U-Haul toll free emergency number and was able to get roadside assistance. When I dropped off the equipment, the gentleman that unhooked the trailer and the manager were very kind and helpful.Brannen D.

The overall experience is fine. What I shouldn't have done, was rented the vehicle in the middle of a gas shortage to go a long distance. However, I'm about to deploy and needed to get my things from the base in NC and bring them back to SC. Coming back was the challenge, we needed gas, and we spent a good amount of time, gas and miles, trying to find a gas station. That racked up the price of the vehicle.ROEL R.

customer service needs an overhaul no explanation i was charged for safe move moved my pickup location without notice added 2 hours to my move duration added 15 miles to my trip waited 50 minutes on phone to get told no resolution from uhaul corporate available Still waiting for call from GM clip that holds sun visor fell out of the cab ceiling. i was told to drive anyway with obstructed view if i needed the truck that night, i noticed many other trucks in parking lot. very disappointed!!!joseph S.

Not sure which location this is intended for but we used two locations over the course of a week and a half and on two of the the experience was worse than any I have ever experienced. The location on Remount road doesn't even look like a business and there was no one in the office both when we picked up and when we returned (during business hours). Also the individual who entered the return data did not do so until the day after we returned and charged us an extra day. In the Dorchester Rd location there was a single person working who was terribly overwhelmed and the computers were not working properly. When I returned the trailer on May 2 it was a similar situation. Somehow the system did not acknowledge the return and we were charge over 600 $for what apparently was a dispatch error. Also we were change 41 $twice although we had the trailer less than 24hrs. I understand that Covid unemployment stuff is causing much of this but even considering that it was over the top unacceptable. Note that the lady at Dorchester was amazingly calm and did a well as any person could possibly could. Also Anthony the outside person was also working incredibly hard. Folks had no idea how to operate the auto transport trailer. They were hesitant to do anything except hook it up to the truck, which had me watching YouTube clips in the parking lot for instructions. Lights in trailer stopped working after first travel day as well. General attitude of folks at this location was poor and moderate level of incompetence.BRIAN B.

I rented a 10x10x8 unit where the door and latch didn't match up correctly. The round lock I was forced to buy would not work in the lower latch hole so I had use another lock. When I returned a week later I'm locked out. The staff guy refused to unlock the unit so I could unlock my stuff. We finally had to stop all your customers that were waiting so we could force the staff guy to unlock our unit. Upon removing boxes from storage, all stored along the cement wall had mold. The boxes on the floor had water damage. We were on the second floor and unsure how they had water damage. Shelving units - the shelves themselves, also had water damage on the bottom and therefore are no longer useful.
