Two of the staff had helped with a wiring issue several week prior to this trip. Their recommendations led me to the repair of my vehicle trailer wiring and being able to make a trip from Tx to NM. Great guys!

U-Hual is the worst moving company to utilize. I rented a truck for two trips being told that it was 38 dollars a day. I was hit with a surprise bill of 130 for no reason. Saying they filled two gallons which is 4 dollars and then throwing two boxes for 25 dollars l. Worst experience they didn't even tell me about the fees! Thumbs down

I've rented 100's of uhaul's as I'm a professional mover with a major van lines. And the hoops I had to jump through because of high thefts in this area. My history alone should have been good enough. I will log my complaint with our corporate account. How does an over the road truck driver provide proof of residency when he lives 1000+ miles away. Do better. Will make sure I add all this to our professional driver review board as well.

Was satisfied with the service however the fuel charge for 17 miles of use is absurd. I was charged $22 for 17 miles of use. That's crazy.

For a whole month I wasnt notified that my storage door wasnt locked properly. It wasnt until i was ready to empty out my storage that I got the call that my lock wasnt on properly. Luckly all my stuff was still there. A miracle on Alameda St. for sure. I had a Uhaul scheduled so I believe thats why attention was made to the lock being secure or not. Thats crazy.

What we reserved online, was not what the physical location had for us. A new agreement and Rental had to be processed.

When I arrived to pick up the truck I was told that I needed proof of residence and it could only be a utility bill. I was not prepared for that and was told that I should have received a text message with this requirement, which I did not. You wouldn't accept a bank statement or insurance card which delayed my pick up. Please change your policy.

The Ubox division needs more help so that customers don't have to wait for assistance for over 2 hours. once we were helped, they were very friendly and helpful, but we were on a timeline and by waiting so long it really screwed up our day to complete all of the things we needed to get completed for our move. The same thing happen on the first part of our move at the Las Cruces, NM location. Very friendly but had to wait very long time just to rent a truck. 90 minutes.

I reserved a unit online two days before I showed up. Told her my name and number- she couldn't find the reservation so she had me get anther unit, larger than what I originally wanted and if course more expensive, I was so exhausted that I didn't argue, just accepted it, paid cash, and was asked if I had a disc lock, the package I originally ordered online came with one because I "booked now", she gave me one. Before we left, we went to check on the unit and to unload my car that was full of boxes, locked up and left. I was leaving and headed down el paseo, I thought to check my account- sure enough, there was the pending charge from my reservation. I called back and she then looked up the number again and miraculously found it! We went back because I needed the cash with my account having been charged and I asked if she would allow us to keep the current unit at the original price that I booked at, I had booked a 9x13x9, this was a 10x10x10, she said she couldn't do that, "that is manager stuff." So she asked if we wanted to keep the one we were in, or go to the reserved one which was less each month, I chose that for that reason and so we loaded our boxes back into the car, and moved units. This whole entire thing including moving, has been quite the ordeal and I'm frustrated. She did give me a discount on next month's fee but that really doesn't make up for it. Moving is exhausting and that was the last thing I needed at the end of a long day- week, month!! Train your employees better please.

There was not enough space to navigate easily in front of the office around all the returned/outgoing trucks etc…too tight. Difficult to get the truck out of there. Nerve wracking. They need a spacious parking lot; not gonna happen with a McDonalds bordering the south edge of the UHAUL place. Maybe reconfigure the property? The employees were really nice and helpful for the most part, especially the guy that checked me out in the AM. Afternoon guy was ok.

Everyone was friendly and Professional. I was offered a tax discount because I am a Veteran, that I did not know was offered. Pickup and Return. Greeted wit a smile when I arrived and greeted with a smile when I left the facility. Great crew!

When we turned in one trailer on the day due, we told the man helping that we were still unloading the bigger one and would turn it in a day later. He said that would be fine and updated the computer and said there would be no additional charge (although the outfit where we rented it said it would be $20 a day possibly, which is the normal rate). When I brought it in in the same shape I had gotten it, a different guy charged me $60+. Not a happy camper folks!

This location is easy to get to and large enough to probably have the equipment a person needed. I would recommend it. could use a little more clean up of trash. I feel the use of a trailer or tow dolly could have a half day rental price as I only used it for 2 hrs. I do take offense to being called BOSS, constantly by the representative that was helping me, even when asked not to. This is not very professional in my mind. He can call me by my 'name' or 'sir' or just leave 'filler words' out of the conversation. He was a nice guy but I am not his boss. His boss is someone that he works for. I am a customer and should be treated with respect. I'm sure I will rent from Uhaul in the future.

Out of all UHaul staff starting in Mississippi, Ed Ramirez, General Manager was exceptional. He went above and beyond to help two disabled old people like us. It was a hard and long trip for us with dogs and chickens. LOL Ed Ramirez certainly has what it takes to go much further. If I may say so myself, he probably needs one helluva good raise. He is the only reason I'm giving UHaul an excellent rating. It definitely wasn't because of Mississippi. I ordered to pick up my truck in Gulfport and had to drive all the to Biloxi to get it. I never could get online for UHaul. Couldn't get any anwers except from Ed Ramirez. Thank You Ed Ramirez for your dedication to such F***** Up company. I hope UHaul higher up recognize all of your hard work and excellent customer service.

Custer rep that assisted me was rude and unprofessional when asked a question that he seem bothered to answer my question. The manager saved the day, made a formal complaint with the supervisor as the sales rep actions will cause me not to recommend this location.

It was extremely difficult to rent the truck. It was false advertising the truck says 19,95 a day. I pay over 60 dollars to rent the truck for 6 hours and drove less then 18 miles. Probably will not choose to rent from u haul again.

Used storage here for many years. Staff was always great. Only thing is my storage unit's security was a bit off (would trigger alarm even though I keyed in, seems the unit reported the wrong ID back to the security system) for many years (and either was recently fixed, or broke worse). I did recommend this storage facility to others, who did have units here, with no problems.

Within a year I have moved twice and rented a big truck and the staff is exceptional. I love the crew that works there they're very helpful friendly and kind. This is probably one of the best crews the company has.

Too much hassle about the padlocks on the unit. Only a certain type and only 1 lock can be used. Staff is nice, friendly and helpful but I choose to go elsewhere where there is no hassle over the locks.

The outside was well maintained, unfortunately the blowers used to keep the outside maintained would blow dirt and debris into the locker. The inside was very dirty. Otherwise, besides a hefty price increase, it was a good storage location.

When I return the equipment there was a worker there there was very rude I talked to the manager Ed about it he was aware of it how she was rude wanting to argue and instigate an argument with none of her concern but she was there trying to do this I was told he had that I was going to contact corporate on this matter her name is Sarah don't know her last name but she needs to be recommended she is very rude and crude first incident I've had with one of your employees she does not know how to treat a customer in my opinion I don't think she'll be there very long because of her attitude thank you

There two compelling reasons for a low rating: lack of actual security and inability to access bathrooms with our security card. The cards don't actually work, so you leave the doors unlocked. Every time someone opens their locker there is a prolonged, horrific alarm because the cards are bogus ane people have learned not to even try to use them. Not a good situation, either for security or bathroom facilities. Your staff is pleasant.

I had to request a ground floor unit. They got one for me but it was too small to fit the 10 foot truck items to be stored. I was strapped for $ and had to buy a lock. They wouldn't let me buy the cheaper padlock I wanted stating the doors only locked with the expensive lock! Not true. It's just super inconvenient!
