Rick VanderhamMaybe have at least 2 people helping the customers at the counter in addition to the guy outside. I waited a little more than 30 minutes in line to get service. The one guy at the counter was not only helping 3 people at a time, but he was also answering the phone. On Saturday morning, at leadt two attendants at the counter are needed.

Next the return attendant stated that she could charge me a extra for bring back the truck dirty, but was filling generous and wasn't going to charge me this time. I didnt even comment! I did include this on the vehicle check in report that the truck was dirty!

Oralia CervantesWhen I came in to pick up the trailer I reserved, I told the guy behind the counter that I had an employee discount code from a relative, he called it a VIP or BIP code. I told him my cousin said to give the code "at the beginning of the process" and customer service had told me to give the code at the beginning of checkout when picking up the rental. The guy at the counter however told me that's incorrect, and I need to give the code when I drop off the rental. So I said okay. And when we came back and dropped off the rental, I was not aware that the act of disconnecting the trailer around back where they are stored is considered "checkout". I thought we checked out when coming into the office and coming to the checkout counter. So apparently we "checked out" without knowing it, and then came inside to give the guy the discount code (the person who was at the counter when we picked up the rental was not there when we came back to drop off the rental). This guy said it was supposed to be done at the beginning, and I said Yeah, I know, but the guy who was at the counter in the morning said NO, do it at the end. So while it did take like 15 minutes for the second guy (the one who was there after we dropped off the rental) to work something out, we were still able to get the discount (at least I hope so? Because he wasn't able to give me a printout or anything showing that I was given the discount or refund equivalent to the discount - I'll have to check my bank account in a few days). So my complaint is: I was given the correct information by my cousin AND customer service (via phone) and your employee caused this big hiccup because he insisted on using incorrect procedure. Please train your employees better so people don't run into this issue again. It was frustrating to deal with.
David RomeroI was told I went over mileage which was never explained to me at the initial pick up location in Whittier. I was told that someone would reach out to me regarding the balance. Wait time was long in store. No one is at blame. I was told my account is "on hold."

ALLAL houdaI have been a recurrent customer in this store. Manger Eric was great when I rented the 26' truck. When I returned the truck Miguel treated me worse than an employee is treated. I suposed I came in the wrong way with the truck and walked to the office when Miguel directed me, not asked, but directed "PARK THE TRUCK THE OPOSITE WAY UNDER THE CANOPY" I asked if I could leave the truck where it was, I was late for an appointment. He said "JUST PARK WHERE I TOLD YOU!" I turned the truck around, parked as Miguel requested. I went inside and asked Miguel for his name. Mihguel needs to know that customers should not be treated that way, regardles of his position. I am not his son for him to talk to me that way.

Pedro LeonroOverall I was pretty satisfied with the storage. The facility itself was good and my unit was never a problem. The issue I had was feeling comfortable or safe due to the people living inside certain units. I realized there wasn't just a homeless problem around the building, but that there were a few actually living inside storage units. Because of this, I was worried my unit may be broken into, but it wasn't. I NEVER allowed my wife or daughter go to the unit alone because of these people living inside units and having full access to be around at all times.

After waiting almost 2 hours, I was told they are going to start now, and it will be an additional 1- 1/2 hours to finish. What a joke. This is a service vehicle, I had to pay my Technician to sit and wait for the vehicle to finish. Also having to reschedule all our appointments that were scheduled. No point on making an appointment with U-Haul because they do not care about the customers time. Never going to this location again.

This storage facility has indoor units only and its climate controlled so you will never be too hot or too cold. As for security. The units close when the center closes. From the moment I walked in the staff was rude, short, unhelpful and generally did not do their jobs. The first employee I encountered was Sophia. She was extremely rude from the moment we walked in. She refused to give me toilet paper for the bathroom for more than 20 minutes. She also would not tell me what unit my storage facility was or where it was located. She told me to "look at my contract". When I finally found the unit it was locked. After more than an hour of her telling me there was no key and refusing to give any further information another employee named Francisco attempted to find the key. He told Sophia he couldn't find the key and she turned around and said "that sucks". He attempted to use the keys he did find to unlock the unit and when they didn't work he started cursing and stormed off. We waited at the unit for him to come back and he never did. We had to go back to the office and I asked Sophia again if someone could please open the unit and she said "I don't have a key" and walked off. We then found Francisco again and we were told that no one had a key and wouldn't have a key until Monday. After almost two hours we finally cancelled the contract and decided we had no other choice but to try to find another storage facility at almost 7pm on a Saturday night. When we tried to retrieve our belongings from inside the storage area we discovered we were locked out. We had to wait another 20 minutes for someone to come let us in. When I asked for a managers contact info both Sophia and Francisco refused to give me that information. They also both refused to give me their names. As if all of this wasn't bad enough, when we were trying to load our belongings back into the truck another employee by the name of Timothy started video recording my minor children. When asked why he was videotaping my kids he got very aggressive and started threatening my son. He said "you better shut your mouth little boy before I beat your ***" and told him he doesn't care about his job and told my son he got off at 7 and he would fight him. There were many expletives used during this interaction in front of both me and several minor children. Timothy became so aggressive that Francisco had to hold him back from assaulting my son and tried to drag him back inside. He repeatedly fought against Francisco to come back and re-engage the altercation. I have never witnessed such unprofessional and ultimately criminal behavior on the part of employees at any other company in my life. It is my opinion that all three of these employees should be immediately terminated so that no other customer has to go through something like this in the future.

My card to go into the building didn't work. They tried with no idea why. So she tossed by card in the trash. She wanted 6 numbers and I asked for information on how to get in she said * then the six numbers then#. That didn't work . Three times so another client let me use his number to get inside.

Getting stuff into my 2nd-floor unit without an elevator was a bit awkward, but I'm a better man --pumping iron-- without the noise, and I likely saved time. The office person forgot to give me a map of the units in the hallways, and there's no arrowed marquee and no unit numbers marked at each of the numerous halls of units and stairways leading to the 2nd-floor halls. The card swipe entry is fickle as it doesn't work on the first few swipes. Alas alack, the facility has only one dolly.

edwina goffney | Expérience généraleThe only reason I would not recommend this facility to a friend is because they have regular sized doors instead of the garage pull up doors so it was hard to place things . The height of the storage isn't very high. And the hallways to the storage are narrow . I know this is a storage but they have mouse traps inside of the unit which takes a little space and it's a little sketchy because I've never seen traps inside storage could be a good or a bad thing. If you don't have large couches to move in this space would be good for you . Also Miguel knows how to handle difficult customers. I was helped by him initially and he was very pleasant but when I came back I received another girl which was pleasant as well and then was helped by another girl which complicated certain things because they did not relay messages on . I would rather have been helped by one person .
