You may want to clean the trucks before people rent them there was underwear and a men's pair of shorts in the back. I was charged for a dolly and not one was provided. The truck smelled bad, I will not be a customer any further I will be going to another source.Jann S.

I am a loyal customer with u haul....i must say i was totally dis satisfied with my service..i reserved a truck for 9/30/22...got to the uhaul place in fontana ca..to pick up the truck...got to my moving location to see there was NO DOLLY in the truck...nor did kari offer to ask me if i needed one..i hurt my back tryna move things without the Dolly...so the next day i came to return the truck i asked kari how come there was no dolly nor was i asked fid i need one...as i was checking out i heard another male worker say to another customer there are no more dollys...how are they remting all these trucks with no dollys...i asked for a business card i will talk to management....this was a horrible moving experience for me...left me in severe bavk pain the day after....TOTALLY DIS SATISFIEIEDCatina S.

Too far from my home, not enough staff to help customers in a timely manner.Robert K.
I used the application online to reserve a truck. I was under the impression I would not need to wait during pickup, but the one staff member working had a line and I had to wait. The pictures provided to verify the truck were blurry. The dolly I had pre-ordered was not in the truck. By the time I had waited for help, an hour of the time I had included in my reservation had passed. The truck was clean and easy enough to use although it was on empty so I had to start at the gas station. When I got back and tried to use the app to return the truck after hours I was notified by a staff member that I was parking in the wrong spot despite the app saying park wherever on the property. Finally when I received my billing statement today, there were unexpected "rental charges" that I don't think were included in my original quote when I made the truck reservation online. These amounted to over $70.00, and I think there should be more transparency about pricing because that is a lot of money to be charged on top of the "rental rate" and I am still unclear as to the differences between the two. Considering the disconnect between the online system and in-person service and the lack of in-person service available, I was really disappointed in the service I received for the price that I was charged.Stephanie G.

The pick up process was very inefficient as far as the lock box and code instructions. We were told the lock box was on the truck and it was not so we had to call to get the code for a different box to get the key which took a long time.Evan A.

When I came to check-in that morning, The cashier guy, Latino mid/older age gentleman was so rude and wouldn't help me even when I asked for help. Then he started complaining saying hooking the trailer wasn't his position and he can't find the guy that usually hook them. His professionalism was poor and rude. You can tell that he hates his job. Checking out that evening the lady had better customer service, but that morning when I checked in the man was really unhelpful, complaining about staff and rude. The morning crew is so unorganized. i had a 9am reservation and stood at the desk for 40 minutes. The guy helping me left and then another guy came and answered 3 telephone calls before helping me. However after dropping it off there was a fantastic girl. i think her name was Kira. So helpful and professional. Of course i had to wait for my reciept again because the guy who was supposed to close out my truck just blasted the uhaul stereo and was dancing in the parking lot instead of checking the fuel and miles. First I rented the trailer in Redlands (8 Miles from Me). I was then told that even though I made the reservation the trailer was not available. Was sent to a different location 10 miles away. I was then told that the trailer was not available and was sent to a location 28 miles away. Had issues at the counter and overall it was frustrating.Gildardo F.

I needed to schedule a UHAUL truck at the last minute. The Fontana UHAUL had plenty of trucks available. I was able to easily schedule a pick-up online with no issues at all. On the pick-up date, unfortunately, they were understaffed but they went out of their way to get me going. Truck turn-in was quick and easy. I greatly appreciate the customer service. U-Haul's very competitive, perhaps best, prices while not imposing a greedy move-in fee is a refreshing surprise. Getting stuff into my 2nd-floor unit without an elevator was a bit awkward, but I'm a better man --pumping iron-- without the noise, and I likely saved time. The office person forgot to give me a map of the units in the hallways, and there's no arrowed marquee and no unit numbers marked at each of the numerous halls of units and stairways leading to the 2nd-floor halls. Unfortunately the storage was not available. Staff offered a storage that was almost double the price so I declined. I reserved the 1st floor $59.99. Staff was nice. However, I feel like they wait until customers arrive and then are forced to modify the reservation in order to make more money. Totally unprofessional. The only reason I would not recommend this facility to a friend is because they have regular sized doors instead of the garage pull up doors so it was hard to place things . The height of the storage isn't very high. And the hallways to the storage are narrow . I know this is a storage but they have mouse traps inside of the unit which takes a little space and it's a little sketchy because I've never seen traps inside storage could be a good or a bad thing. If you don't have large couches to move in this space would be good for you . Also Miguel knows how to handle difficult customers. I was helped by him initially and he was very pleasant but when I came back I received another girl which was pleasant as well and then was helped by another girl which complicated certain things because they did not relay messages on .
