Was charged for gas when I returned it with more gas than I received it with. When I called I was told that it was my fault. Yet, i wasn't instructed to report it when I received it. . Poor business and very unprofessionalSTACI B.

Needed a large truck to move , I was told Hammond La location had the truck even though it was 22 miles outside of my area which meant an extra cost however when I arrived the truck was not there then later after deciding to get a smaller truck the truck arrived only to be told it was rent it to another customer I ended up having to make numerous trips with a smaller truck and incurred double fees Really poor service just be careful as their online reservation isn't always accurateLouis D.

Not a comment about this facility. However I am terribly disappointed with the Laplace, La. 1221 W Airline hwy facility. I had a Trailor reserved for 0900. When I arrived at 0850 am I set until almost 0920 with no one available to fill my reservation. No one around not open for business. However the customer service 800 number was able to change my location rental only costing me about forty five minutes of wasted time.DON W.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The dolly provided was filthy and gooey. I drove from Hammond to Slidell on a low tire and road side assistance took about 4 hours to arrive. It wasn't a good experience once I arrived to my destination, they are understaffed and it effects the consumer. Poor experience but the staff was very helpful and pleasant to deal with.BOBBIE B.

This particular location is the best UHAUL location I've ever been to. The stall is always ready to help with whatever you may need. As busy as this location is, you would think the staff would be stressed out at all times. In fact, they're quite the opposite. They're always with a smile and all have great attitudes. I've rented trucks and various trailers many times in the past two years and have NEVER had a bad experience. These guys and girls go above and beyond for their customers.WILLIAM P.
Did the entire preregistration online to save time. Once at the facility the employee said nothing was in the system. Had to decline the insurance 3 times give alternate phone numbers mileage etc. ac did not work at highway speeds.Joe S.

I originally rented a trailer at a rate of around 20,00 $ Per Day plus the 24,00 $ insurance which isn't bad but I added on a day the next day to make it a total of 3 days and I had to pay another 24,00 $ the insurance when I've already purchased the insurance which is ridiculous. I rent from y'all all the time and never had this problem. I do business with y'all because y'all are affordable but doubling the insurance all beca I added 1 extra day doesn't make it very affordable.SEAN S.

The owner and her staff were excellent. The devastating hurricaine did very little damage to her buildings. There was damage to my unit but it was minimal. Just some water came into the unit from the roof causing a little mold to grow on my furnature. But with a good cleaning it will be fine. Was very disappointed with the customer service. Our hitch installation appointment was originally scheduled for 9/6, with expedited shipping paid to get a hitch in time. We were unable to make the original time, so we called to reschedule for 9/24. We were never informed (until we called) that our appointment had been rescheduled to 9/30 due to the part not being in on time (that we paid priority shipping for 20 days prior), without confirming our availability. On 9/30, we showed up for our appointment only to be told we had been rescheduled (again) for 10/4!!! The manager was unapologetic and said â€œI haven't had time to call anyone back.â€ She was also unwilling to give any discount for our trouble and the three afternoons I had to take off of work. Very unprofessional and highly disappointed. The only positive is the hitch has finally been installed correctly it seems.joe B.

Do not hassle the customer when they have to repair The equipment that was faulty to begin with. Reimbursing for a faulty tire should be the company's responsibility. No one should have to do maintenance to someone else's equipment when it is rented.Kathleen S.

Price for hitch with installation & lights with installation was cheaper online. At location total was 470 $. Online, same store was 370 $. Could be prices are cheaper when you book yourself compared to cost to book at store. Could be the store sold a different hitch. This location was great! Very helpful employees! Although UHaul called me 30 mins before I was supposed to pick up my truck and dolly and told me the location had changed to about an hour away from where I lived. So I had to change my schedule to fit my new pick up time. The lady on the phone was also really rude. But when I arrived at the location the man who helped was super nice and helped me load up my car on the dolly.Chase P.

Those unfamiliar with the facility may have difficulty locating their rental vehicle (the automated system said it was by the canopy but it was actually located by the hitching bay). The dolly that we reserved was not in the vehicle so we located one on display by the door. The vehicle had a sensor issue which kept telling us that the left front tire was low on air (that information on a note inside the truck would have been helpful). The automated system would not process the premium insurance option so we only had the basic.Michael K.

Although I booked online for 24/7 pickup, the 7:00 am pickup was not available until the store opened at 9:00. I was confirmed for 7:00am both online and by by phone. Because of the delay getting truck, I lost my manpower and had to scramble to find other help. And because of that I had to rent the truck longer than I hoped! It was a disasterGreg L.

Worst U-Haul experience ever. I'd ask for my money back if it didn't take up so much uselessness of my time just trying to communicate with such unprofessionalism. I'll never use uhaul again. I'd rather pay more for a better experience than to experience U-Haul again.
