I reserved a uhaul to be picked up at 6:30 am and no one left keys for my uhaul so I had to take off work and come up there at 9 to pick up the uhaul then.

JONATHON G.I was very disappointed that the room I had reserved was given away and I had to reserve 2 rooms to have enough space. However, after the first, smaller, truck was unloaded the staff was able to locate an outside large enough space for all my belongings and my movers were willing to complete the moving of the first load the following week so everything is in one large unit. So for everything; I reserved a large unit. It was given away. I then had to reserve 2 smaller units, but finally was able to get a large unit a day later and was able to combine all belongings. The whole thing was a real challenge but the staff was very kind and helpful.

I advised that I would be there in 10mins to pick it up. When I arrived they could not locate it and the manager was unhelpful, rude, and unconcerned with helping me. I will not be using the I20 location in Grand Prairie again I have never had any issues with any of the employees there at that location. They were always pleasant and nice. She was not.

Then we find that the appliance dolly, utility dolly and furniture pad that we ordered were not in the truck. This delayed my move as I could not move the items I need to move without the dolly. Called the store manager the next day and she was no help at all very rude. She did not seem to care that I was completely inconvenienced.She said that since I picked after hours I could not get my dollys since they were not open. So, why would I be allowed to purchase the dollys on my order if it's not an option. Was told a member of ur management team would call me. I have yet to get a call or email from them. These issue delayed my move by hours and caused me to not be able to get out of my house on time. Very poor customer service and complicated process.

Rachael F.First of all, I didn't expect to be charged an additional $50 which messed up my living situation. I paid extra for coverage but there was no incidents, accidents or damage on my part. I called when I realized I wouldn't have the truck back by 1pm and the attendant said that was fine, even if I came after hours. He said nothing about being charged anything extra. I also put $16 of gas in the tank which put the meter above where it was when I picked up the truck. The tank was not full but was 3/4 full. So why am I being charged.

I've complained a long time ago about the pest control, but no one did anything about it. I have pictures and video from my unit after I moved out, and it's disgusting. The only contents I had in there were papers, furniture, mattress/box springs that were in bags, and clothes. The ironic thing was that this facility kept raising the cost because of "improvements", but I never saw any improvements to this facility. I will never use this facility again, will not ever recommend anyone to use this facility, and will advise people against using this facility.

Associate Derek and his girlfriend Abbey also an associate at this location has absolutely NO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS. Totally disrespectful and rude. District Regional manager Sean was contacted regarding an unnecessary call for police assistance when all we asked for was to have our lock cut off due to lost key. My son was tld they dnt have tools. I inquired a few minutes later and was told by another worker for a $50 fee lock can b cut off. I asked Anbey y did Derek not offer this svc. She said u didn't ask. What company wldnt want to sell a $50 svc. Did u want me to leave items and u sell and auction. Abbey and Derek were very irrate and confrontational. Derek walked up to my son and asked if he had a problem and the co versatile escalated and Detek called the police and police came out and confirmed they had more important service calls to attend. Derek & Abbey (Caucasian) and Shirley Cooper (black woman) needs customer service training by the young black man that actually cut the lock off. He stated immediately we can cut off lock for a fee. That shld hv been Derek &Abbey (Caucasian couple) initial response. Maybe perhaps they carried their hime life situation to work w them on that day and took out on customers. I tried to buy a lock from Abbey after the nice young black man cut off lock but Abbey was still so mad miserable unhappy Mean and rude I left unit unlocked overnight to purchase elsewhere. The location is so perfect its too bad the staff does not match lupita Padilla checked me on 01. 3,2 and she was sweet as pie.
CHERYLE B. | Expérience généraleSeveral times I came to access my unit during hours allowed to access the units (which is different than the store hours). On these occasions, the manager locked the doors to the storage access points when she left and closed the store. The hours for access specifically state hours for the units is 6:00AM-10:00PM. The store closed at 5:00pm on Sunday but the access to the units should have remained open. I contacted customer service on these occasions and one time, management was not responding and the next time the manager was contacted and said she would have to try and get someone to come back out to unlock the doors. Several other customers were there and can attest to the same issue on both occasions. I will not be utilizing that location again. And will not be recommending it to anyone.

I was told this storage was for a one bedroom apartment plus I had no major appliances. My payment was to be reversed to my card and it was not.

I choose this location because it is close to my home and I have rented from here before. First, this is what I have an issue with: the gate to the Rv storage not working to get in. Second, not being able to get out of the Rv storage facility. Third, not having a gate controller or a remote gate controller to get me out of the Rv storage facility in the evening. I know the staff up there works hard, but, you need to get the gate to the RV storage working and or you need to have a detector on the inside of the gate so that once somebody pulls up it will open for them to let us out

The website made me rsvp a truck at a pick up location with a card prior to move date. I was ok with that. Then when I go to pick up the truck - Uhual did not accept my card at the desk, they did not have the truck or equipment I rsvp prior to, they changed my pick up location the day of my pick up in a location that was over 20 miles, the next option was over 100 miles.. Anything that could go wrong did in my experience. Thank God I had friends who helped me use the exact card Uhaul only accepts, my change in location was only 30 miles away from my original pickup location and I went in early because Uhaul almost canceled my reservation because of their inconveniences. The truck pick up and drop off locations are not always in the best of places and often times looks very sketch after dark to leave keys and trust it'll be safe until the morning. The storage facility was good but the online process versus in-store experience does not match nor does it meets expectations. I found myself being hard-balled to do business because of the last minute changes not made by me. I feel if you are taking my payment for a rsvp from one card, you should take that payment inside the store from that same card. If I rsvp a truck and equipment pickup at location A, I expect to only go to location A and not location F. I expect if Uhaul does not have what I need at location A then refer me to location F from the beginning. Not changing it 1 hour before my pickup time then try to cancel my rsvp because Im tardy because of you're inconvenieces. This is my story from my Uhaul experience.

I wish I had written everyone's name down because they made me feel refreshed and at ease for this big move. I would like to thank the staff that worked on the 29th and 29 of December because they set the tone for my move to Texas. A young man from California assistance me on the 28th and it as smooth sailing from that point. The staff was professional, even after the unfortunate incident of the Grand Prairie police department. The gentleman went through an horrible mistaken identity after a truck was reported stolen as he was checking the truck in the police pulled weapons on him as if he stole the truck. The police did apologize but their behavior showed a la k of basic common sense. After the experience the gentleman was still professional and didn't speak about what happened but assured us that the police were doing their job, that statement alone was the perfect statement from an employee. The move out was easy and convenient. Thank you again to the staff in December and the staff on the 23rd of January.

The reason for 3 stars and not 5 is because later that night after moving all day I came to the storage to load my things in. I loaded up the elevator and went up to find my unit and I discovered my storage unit that I just rented had someone else's personal lock still on it. So I had to load the elevator back up take everything back downstairs and leave my things in a Uhaul all night.
