Employees not very friendly, in fact they were a bit rude. The only one who wasn't that rude was the man who checked us back in with the trailer. Even though this location is fairly close to us , I would drive farther to deal with friendlier folks. The office was clean but the trailer wasn't , it was old and ragged looking, it would swerve on the road while pulling it, and that's just at a low rate of speed. All in all it wasn't the best experience I've had with uhaul, it could have been much much better.SHANNON P.

The truck was on dead empty when I picked it up The check engine light was on, and they said it was ok They just handed me keys and did not go over any operating procedures such a overdrive. I found that the overdrive was turned off after driving the truck 75 miles with it off I returned the truck with a half of tank of fuel which equates to 25 gallons I asked for a fuel credit and the GM chuckled and ignored me totally When he wrote up the return, I asked about the fuel credit, and he stated I gave you a 5,62 credit. I told him that was good enough and he told me to call customer services if I didn't like it Very rude, very, very unprofessional they were more worried about their cell phones and the activity they were doing on them than dealing with customers I will not return to that location ever againDonald D.

Self check in is inconvenient. Update pictures for disputing or accepting. Thank was almost empty. I stood in front of it for over 15 minutes trying to get checked in and it was running under the equipment return the whole time. The Uhaul battery was very low that we had to boost the battery while moving furniture. The Uhaul door string was damaged making it ver hard to close the trailer door. Then the customer service from the guy that I dropped the trailer to at the end was totally disrespectful to me.Latoya R.

I made a reservation. I showed up to pick up the trailer that I reserved. I went ahead and purchased a tow hitch ball and trailer light adapter. The guy charges me for the tow hitch ball, and lighting adapter. And was told that I had to pay a $60 deposit if I paid in cash. I asked the guy if I could pay for the tow hitch ball separate and put the rental charge on my card. Before I could finish, he told me no, it's either cash and you pay a deposit, and get the deposit back when you return, or all on the card. With no deposit. I had to pay cash, so i confirmed that I would be getting my deposit back when I returned the equipment. Upon returning the equipment, they informed me that the charge for renting the trailer would then be taken out of my deposit and ended up not getting my whole deposit back. I questioned the employees about why I was charged everything upfront + deposit and told I would get my full deposit back. After sitting there waiting to finish my transaction, all the employees talked about was getting out of there right at close. While another employee was on the phone with another customer who was on his way to the location to pick up equipment that was already paid for, and the other employees were telling the employee on the phone that they ain't gonna be open, that they are gonna be gone right at close. The employees weren't very helpful, didn't communicate at all, and were condescending the whole time. Horrible.Edward L.

The receptionist could have been more customer friendly, she never introduced herself and she just said â€œdrivers license â€œ it would have been a much more pleasant experience if she had introduced herself and explained what she needed instead of expecting me to understand that she needed to copy my license. When she copied the license she used a phone to take a picture of it and I had to ask if it was her private phone or a company phone. It would be appreciated if it were company policy to tell customers this and it would also be good to delete the photo from the phone once they are uploaded to the computer and telling the consumer this as well. The fellow who hooked up the trailer was excellent and largely made up for the other shortcomingsJohn D.

There were mice and roaches at this facility. When I spoke with the manager and showed how the mice chewed through my furniture pads he said you have insurance, just file a claim. Gave me some mouse poison and said you are the only one that complained. This piece of furniture couldn't have been replaced. I wanted to remove my furniture but thought I'd input it somewhere else and it was damages they could say it didn't happen at the UHaul facility.Monique N. | Expérience générale

Having fuel more than 18miles until E then telling me to bring it back above a quarter tank. Fuel cap was also broken so I had to use pliers just to fuel. Customer help from desk wasn't serious or seemed to think of me as an annoyance when I asked him why there wasn't enough fuel.michael D.

Uhaul was clean on inside of truck and box. The engine light was on and power steering was iffy. We were not charged the extra day rental due to bad weather but was charged for the extra mileage it took to reroute us around flood waters to return it to the facility.Kimberly W.

The guy at the front desk was very rude. He had me waiting outside in the hot sun because he wanted to take his sweet time to come from the back to help. I filled ou5 all my paperwork ahead of time so the process would be quick but it still Was delayed. On top of that he had an attitude with me because he had to do his job. I was charged one month for arriving on the last day of my contract to move out. That was $129 that I didn't have moving from out of state. I was already overcharged for the auto transport at the facility in Janesville, il and only refunded $60 when I was over charged over $120. Horrible experience. My storage unit had a huge hole on it and u could see outside without trying to. There was a huge rat trap and I could hear rat squealing while trying to move out and I'm TERRIFIED of Mice. Never again. I'd appreciate a refund for that last month. I didn't expect to pay and couldn't pay until a few days later so was charged a $15 late fee. I paid $150 and didn't think I should have because I arrived from out of state to move out but the guy said I was one day late and it was nothing he could do.
