This location charged a $25 cleaning fee. I had the unit for 6hrs, house to house, no dirt, nothing left in back of unit. I will dispute the charge with my bank. I called the location, phones rolled over to customer service. They claim I have to go back to the loaction to get a credit.

Two hour wait to check truck in. I had to return the truck and forfeit my deposit because I couldn't stay the entire time because they had one person checking you and the same person checking the truck in. So with that being said , I had to give Uhaul my $100 deposit. If I knew I had a two hour wait to check the truck back in and had to go to work , I would have gone with another company

It took us 30 minutes to just get to talk to someone, and they did not know what they were doing. I actually had to tell them how to do their job. I am not one to complain, but it was not a good experience. The employees were nice, but incompetent.

Truck was a little dinged up but nothing too bad. Gas cap was broken so the truck could not be refueled and even after adding a dispute to the gas charge it was ignored.

The backup camera works intermittently. A notification that the "Right Rear door is open" appears more times than not. It comes and goes every time you restart the engine. Your online registration totally failed. When I went pick up the vehicle, I got a "location services must be on" warning on my mobile device. My location services were on, and toggling them did not help. You already new my location because i made a reservation to pick up on Jimmy Carter Blvd, so why would you require verification? Luckily it was not an after hour pickup because I had to go through the leasing process again at the counter.

Not sure who is to blame here, the pick-up location or destination. My credit card was just charged a wrong destination fee because supposedly the equipment was returned to Glen Burnie, MD. The truck and tow trailer were returned to the Norcross, GA location per the contract. I opened a case with uhaul to correct this and refund the charges, case # 3014152.

I was told that U-Haul offered me a discount if I were to drop off the rental in Clayton, GA instead of Otto, NC. I did that, but then I had trouble signing the truck in. I was told by U-Haul customer service that I was to drop the truck off at Otto, NC and was being charged extra to drop it where the Norcross, GA location told me to drop it off.. I am waiting on a call from a U-Haul representative to see what can be done.

Rental smelled strongly of cigarettes and constantly alerted me that various tires had low pressure. Looking through the alerts the rear left wheel indicated 0 psi and the rest of the wheels had wildly different pressures.

I was not aware that my reservation would be canceled if I don't pick up the truck within an hour of the reservation time. The customer service personal named, Pondra Jones didn't explain me the situation rather gave me an negative attitude and showed. I checked in online and she said "No, u have to come here to check in". When I asked if I could get another truck, she said she has only one left and it has to be return by 4:30 PM. When she was making the reservation, I asked a question and she didn't respond. Meanwhile, I checked my U-Haul app to make reservation, it showed they had the same truck for longer period of time. I asked if I could make the reservation online and pick it up right away, she didn't respond. I took the truck for 4 hours 50 min, as she said it has to be returned by 4:30, yet the truck was not ready and I took another 25 min while I was standing there. I wish I could get better explanation and not feel like getting something for free and has to get a service like that. I hope things get better soon

Better communication with 1800gouhaul. Truck was in need for repairs and 1800gouhual knew all about it, but I still got a phone call asking where the truck was and when I was going to drop it off. The truck was being hooked up to a tow truck at the time of that call. Poor communication

The biggest thing I can offer for you to improve here is to have friendly customer service for all. I felt that I was not really welcomed or appreciated as a first time customer. No smiles, no warm treatment on the part of this male attendant, just pushing through. This is a large enough U-haul location with lots to offer, so polish up on friendly customer service and you should be ok.

Don't tell a customer "we won't move your U-Box until you tell us you're done packing it" and then ship it out the very next day. Then don't argue with the customer and pretend that this conversation never took place and that you had to do it to make sure it arrived on time. (Hello! If it doesn't have half my stuff inside yet, what good does arrival time do?) Completely incompetent. Thank god for the UHAUL Woodstock location that worked with corporate to fix UHAUL Norcross's mistake. Will not be using Norcross location again.

Upon return employee refused to wear a mask and would not intake the trailer. He just walked off. Manager was not wearing a mask either. I was just tying to keep them safe as we are waiting on my wife's test results and we both don't feel well. He was a jerk about it and kept saying I can't hear you with a mask.

First visit was poor prior to 20 Nov I had reserved 8-11am to attach hitch ($469) for my jeep; I arrived 8 am. but tech was not there. Gave keys to clerk, De. , and went shopping, returned 10am. Nothing was done . Manager D. then said sorry, hitch parts set never arrived from AZ. Why couldn't UHaul tell me ahead of time not to come for the appointment in the first place? Or that when I arrived, tell me to go home since they don't have the hitch set? Second visit on 20 Nov and third visit to hire a truck 28 Nov. to get /return UBox was good, but had to wait 30-45 min. to process papers. Truck and trailer equipment were good, but the plywood UBox was old. Don't post this for public viewing. After all is said and done, I still like UHaul for the service you provide to us and the quality of the equipment and vehicles. Driving the big truck was great.

It was a easy/fast process I just needed a truck for a couple hours, the lady that checked me out was very pleasant (great customer service) and when I returned the truck the guy met me with a smile and ask did everything go ok, (great customer service) I was very pleased and definitely will use this location again.

I could never get into my unit because of the property manager having control issues. I reside out of town and when I would come back in town to retrieve merchandise from my unit, I could not gain access because she constantly changed my access code on the gate without notice. It got pretty expensive to have to stay a extra night on three separate occasions when I was trying to gain access after store hours, and wasn't given a adequate reason why I access code was changed on so many occasions.

I ordered the equipment for Buford Hwy location and was confirmed ($50 guarantee even). Showed up and was sent 5 miles away to another location. Lost 45 minutes and missed was late for moving appointment. Terrible experience. And what about the $50 guarantee for the equipment not being at the confirmed location? No help at either location.

I was charged for the extra mileage of having to go to 3 total locations because the original scheduled drop off doesn't take Uhaul services anymore, the second location didn't have the room for my truck, and the third location the staff barely said any words to me. So I wasn't able to explain the extra mileage and ask not to get charged for it. It was extremely frustrating trying to drop the truck off and continue on with my day.

You have an employee Her name is Pondra, that was forcing me to buy insurance on the storage, when I had previously talked to 2 different people that didn’t mentioned anything about an insurance, she said I had to purchase insurance since I was getting the first month “free” for he storage and then she got upset because I asked to talk to her manager Noel Marin. Also the unit I had previously “reserved” #1020 was an occupied unit and we found out until we got there. Then I had to comeback to the office to let them know. They took a long time to find out what unit was available because I told them I had seen unit 1018 empty and I wanted that one, but they said it wasn’t available (an empty unit). They didn’t give me that one. Then I finally leave the office with a different unit # and they didn’t give a new gate code, so I got lock out outside the gate because my previous gate code didn’t work anymore after they changed my storage unit and the truck was inside already the storage area.... well, I had to comeback to the office AGAIN and everybody was gone so, I had to chase them down to get them to fix my situation. So once inside your employee Pondra was very upset because it was past 7 pm and they were still dealing with “ME” but she didn’t want to help me with anything, she totally ignored my previous request for help when I was inside the office. She pretended that didn’t see me and pretended to be busy, even when I tried talking to her she will answer “hold on” and disappear and stay outside talking with people. Finally they figured out what to do with the gate code and made me choose a new code number, so this time I asked Somarion to walk with me to the gate and make sure I had it right. And while I was dealing with this whole situation Pondra was rude to my son, she asked him to move from in front of her because he (my son) wasn’t supposed to “see her counting the money”... note: he was sitting on the customer area, just waiting for me to finish and she was inside the employee side and she had the decency to ask him to move from there and she told him “he wasn’t supposed” to see her with the money YES just like that. It was a very frustrating experience that took almost 2 long hours to complete and get right. I was really upset!!! You need better and trained customer service in there!!!

This location seems understaffed for the amount of business, however the staff on site are friendly and helpful. The facility is clean and well lit. I had some trouble with access to my indoor storage unit the last time I was there and had to wait for someone to help...I was told I was the first one to access the indoor units that day so my code wasn't opening the doors and they had to be opened by a manager, seems odd for a facility that is supposed to have 24 hour access.

I spent an hour on the phone being transferred to various departments to change drop off address. Per the general manager he couldn’t assist me with the phone call after he helped he was gone for the day. During what looked like a high traffic location at 11am. He could of been more helpful in the situation but he was rude. After dealing with him he left a bad taste in my mouth with Uhaul. I will use my free month with my UHAUL rental and move straight into a Public Storage. Units are “supposedly climate controlled” and dirty.

It was the worse experience ever. Manager was not helpful at all. Took over 10 days to get refund. first truck didn't work, had to bring back and exchange. After making the people I hired wait over an hour which cost me more money. When I came again in two weeks store manager never answered any of my 6 calls Noel so I called another manager who helped me . My truck wasn't ready for my next rental and they said it would be 4 hours. Horrible time there Noel should learn how to treat customers. I would not recommend this place to anyone

I received additional charges. There was a water leak in my unit that damaged half of yge items in my unit. I was not compensated for my losses. I could never reach anyone at the location by phone. Overall horrible experience! Will never store with uhaul again!

Tamara Fox and her coworkers were so kind and went above and beyond to help me. My vehicle was damaged caused by the Uhaul pick-up location in Grapevine Tx. Grapevine location did not place the tire rubber stoppers on the auto transport (services I paid them for) and the bottom of my vehicle was cracked and dragging on the ground preventing me from driving. The Norcross location, was very nice and helpful. I can appreciate customer service experiences like this. I am grateful to them.
