layout of lot a little difficult to pick up trailer. The mechanical condition of the trailer should have been examined when it was checked in rather at the time of my rental. This took extra time and there was a screw found in one of the tires and one turn signal did not work. There were no other trailers of this size. I had my reservation for 3:30, but showed up and was told it was not ready. It was 25 minutes later and was able to get my rental, but my return time was scheduled for its original rental time, but according to the service number it did not qualify for the $50 reservation guarantee.Luis V.

We lost our printed reservation paperwork during our move. Our online reservation said return on 11/1/2022 with no specific time, we had no idea that it went by the orignal pickup time. So we were charged an extra $60 for being a couple of hours late. The people working at the location said "it was printed on the paperwork". To make things easier and more clear, the online reservation should reflect as well, it's made to look like you can drop it off at any time as long as it's before the end of the day.Jarquise J.

I found the process of using U-boxes quite disorganized on the part of U-haul. More than once I was told conflicting information when I called the customer service number vs. calling the store where my boxes were stored. Also, when I called I would be on hold for an average of 15-30 minutes until someone finally answered. Moving is stressful enough; the last thing I needed was this additional frustration to deal with.Kathie E.

The location is fine and the employees are friendly but my husband and I recently rented a uhual truck and that truck made sounds and we did not feel safe driving it. We were afraid to get until an accident. I honestly believe that truck had some engine issue but they still rented out to people. That is not safe at all. I was so afraid.Danielle U.
This was the third dropoff location we were directed to after the other two third party sites were not open (even though they had signs that said they were, and one of the phone numbers was even incorrect). They were super helpful and made a frustrating situation, where we had been directed by UHaul to travel across the city, easy and fast to complete. Your website serves are slow and confusing. Your late self check-in services are slow cumbersome and confusing. Your in-person check-in and data collection is slow, unresponsive and repetitive. This is a comment on the superior customer service that I received. My SUV has a fuse for trailer turning lights that was no longer operating. First employee, an older gentleman, whose name I didn't get, connected two different trailers trying to get the rear lights to work with my vehicle. After the second failed attempt, he suspected my vehicle had a problem. This first employee called in a second young man, named John, to check my fuses. John tested the fuses and discovered they needed to be replaced. I went to an auto parts store down the street and replaced the fuses. John hooked up the trailer (3rd time) and hallelujah (!) the trailer lights were able to respond to my vehicle and worked beautifully! I am so appreciative of the time and effort these employees put forward to bring about a positive outcome!Vee C.

Was told that I would have a one-time charge for rental of blankets- when I picked up the truck. I ended up being charged $140 for rental of the blankets...I could have bought a few dozen at that price! Very frustrated. Called in a couple times to customer service and never got calls back. I originally reserved rental through Uhaul online. Somewhat user friendly. I went to location "Green Global Group" at 6045 Buford Hwy. Strong Advice= Fire this representative of your company. No lockbox and no way of getting key to 9' van that was sitting there. Then after 40 minutes on phone with 800-uhaul they sent me to another location = Uhaul Moving at 5365 Jimmy Carter Blvd. They are under staffed and this added to another 30+ minute wait to get rental van. The manager there was working checkin/checkout and very nice. He needs HELP and was running circles to try to accomplish everything. He was not there when I returned rental. No one at checkin/checkout so I ended up handing key to employee and asking for electronic bill to my email. Overall BAD experience for a customer.Jim D.

i rented my equipment at 12 noon and was charge a $50 fee because i returned it after 4pm that same day. i never agreed to returning it at 4pm. Uhaul i thought charged the same price for 24 hours. Also, the truck steering wheel kept locking, and wouldnt start every time we parked. The truck also had roaches, i seen at least 4 scrambling. Terrible experience, never again!Shollata M.

I always have problems with uhaul! I made a reservation as usual. The rep was told I need to fit living room furniture in the unit. when I got there they said my reservation was for a 4 foot storage unit which is basically a closet. Previously I made a reservation in Laurel, md. For july2nd. When I got there they said the truck was in Washington DC. I drove there only to be sent to the heart of Baltimore. I ended up driving to 5 different locations before getting the truck then another location for the car tow dolly. Then when I got to the drop off location after driving 750miles that was attached to my drop off/storage location, I was told that I didn't have a reservation for storage and could not drop off cause they don't take one way trucks. I showed them the information but they said they couldn't find it. When I left and went to a public storage and signed the papers I got a call from someone saying they "found" my reservation and to come back. Public storage was already closed so I couldn't get my money back. This was after paying $150 in additional cost for the public storage that I didn't even want. After calling and speaking to several reps I was told the drop off location in my records was correct so I went back. The lady said, "I don't take one way trucks and equipment but I need it so I'll take it!" So because she needed it was the only reason she accepted it. Such a disappointment cause I've spent well over1,200$ in the last month with uhaul only to have my furniture and other items spread all over Atlanta because people can't perform their jobs properly. Noel Marin, the store manager was very unprofessional. I ordered 7 U-Boxes from the Norcross location and booked some movers through U'Haul's refural program. Movers never showed! Noel have away my U-Boxes without notifying me. He claimed to have called; not true. Had to hire movers to load my stuff into their storage units, unload them and then load into my new house; cost me $4 000 extra! The storage units had holes in them! My only comment is about my last visit: I arrived and my presence was not acknowledged. None of the staff, but particularly one lady, could not even respond to me asking for assistance. I had to imagine they could not hear me, rather than the alternative. I rented 7 U-Box's and reserved a moving company through U-Haul's referral system. The movers never showed up. So, the Manger, "Noel," from the Norcross location just gave my boxes away. No call, no warning at all!! He is an uncaring awful human being. I had to hustle to find same-day movers, which I did. But sine Noel gave away my boxes, I was screwed. The only thing that I did not like About this experience is that I called customer service about the size storage unit and he assured me all of my belongings would fit in 1 unit and they did not. I ended up having to get 2 storage units. Now I have to hire help again to get everything back out and find a new storage place that can fit everything. I could never get into my unit because of the property manager having control issues. I reside out of town and when I would come back in town to retrieve merchandise from my unit, I could not gain access because she constantly changed my access code on the gate without notice. It got pretty expensive to have to stay a extra night on three separate occasions when I was trying to gain access after store hours, and wasn't given a adequate reason why I access code was changed on so many occasions.Francias C. | Expérience générale

You have an employee Her name is Pondra, that was forcing me to buy insurance on the storage, when I had previously talked to 2 different people that didn't mentioned anything about an insurance, she said I had to purchase insurance since I was getting the first month "free" for he storage and then she got upset because I asked to talk to her manager Noel Marin. Also the unit I had previously "reserved" #1020 was an occupied unit and we found out until we got there. Then I had to comeback to the office to let them know. They took a long time to find out what unit was available because I told them I had seen unit 1018 empty and I wanted that one, but they said it wasn't available (an empty unit). They didn't give me that one. Then I finally leave the office with a different unit # and they didn't give a new gate code, so I got lock out outside the gate because my previous gate code didn't work anymore after they changed my storage unit and the truck was inside already the storage area.... well, I had to comeback to the office AGAIN and everybody was gone so, I had to chase them down to get them to fix my situation. So once inside your employee Pondra was very upset because it was past 7 pm and they were still dealing with "ME" but she didn't want to help me with anything, she totally ignored my previous request for help when I was inside the office. She pretended that didn't see me and pretended to be busy, even when I tried talking to her she will answer "hold on" and disappear and stay outside talking with people. Finally they figured out what to do with the gate code and made me choose a new code number, so this time I asked Somarion to walk with me to the gate and make sure I had it right. And while I was dealing with this whole situation Pondra was rude to my son, she asked him to move from in front of her because he (my son) wasn't supposed to "see her counting the money"... note: he was sitting on the customer area, just waiting for me to finish and she was inside the employee side and she had the decency to ask him to move from there and she told him "he wasn't supposed" to see her with the money YES just like that. It was a very frustrating experience that took almost 2 long hours to complete and get right. I was really upset!!! This location seems understaffed for the amount of business, however the staff on site are friendly and helpful. The facility is clean and well lit. I had some trouble with access to my indoor storage unit the last time I was there and had to wait for someone to help...I was told I was the first one to access the indoor units that day so my code wasn't opening the doors and they had to be opened by a manager, seems odd for a facility that is supposed to have 24 hour access.eric l. | Premières impressions

I spent an hour on the phone being transferred to various departments to change drop off address. Per the general manager he couldn't assist me with the phone call after he helped he was gone for the day. During what looked like a high traffic location at 11am. He could of been more helpful in the situation but he was rude. After dealing with him he left a bad taste in my mouth with Uhaul. It was the worse experience ever. Manager was not helpful at all. Took over 10 days to get refund. first truck didn't work, had to bring back and exchange. After making the people I hired wait over an hour which cost me more money. When I came again in two weeks store manager never answered any of my 6 calls Noel so I called another manager who helped me . My truck wasn't ready for my next rental and they said it would be 4 hours. Horrible time there Noel should learn how to treat customers. Tamara Fox and her coworkers were so kind and went above and beyond to help me. My vehicle was damaged caused by the Uhaul pick-up location in Grapevine Tx. Grapevine location did not place the tire rubber stoppers on the auto transport (services I paid them for) and the bottom of my vehicle was cracked and dragging on the ground preventing me from driving.
