I was disappointed with the trailer I rented. It did not contain hooks on the side for tie downs. This was my first time renting a trailer , maybe that's how all of them are????GREGORY F.

You can start by making sure the vehicles are cleaned before renting and then charging the customer for returning the vehicle in the same condition it was released in. In addition, make sure the hood of the vehicle is closed before renting, could have resulted in major issue. You may also want to consider customer service training as the sales rep that handled the rental was quite rude. The first comment she made to me was â€œwe don't take debit cards or cashâ€ with a nasty attitude. You should know I am disputing all additional changes and will never rent from this location again.DERIC H.

I returned my trailer I rented at 9:35 sunday and the gentleman who was checking everyone in unhitched the trailer put it back in another spot not the one I picked it up in and said thank you have a nice day this afternoon I check my bank account there is additional 20,00 $ charge when I called the associate who answered said there was nothing she could do about it that charge was from where I turned my trailer in last night or before they opened today the trailer was turned in today AFTER the store opened the gentleman who checked me in didn't check it in till later and it didn't help it when the associate said she couldn't help me when clearly I didn't make the mistake. I don't know about you but I need all the money in my account I live check to check supporting myself and young son can't afford to have extra taken out I hope that we can clear it up on Monday morning I have used this location for several years lots of times and any issues I have had was made good so I am hoping this will also thank you!BEVERLY P.

Very difficult return process. The vehicle was dirty had to spend extra time to clean before loading my stuff. Vehicle shakes and gives weird noise while driving which is scary. I won't recommend Uhaul anymoreSYED A.

Overall, we were pleased with the rental. I wanted to call them directly to change my credit card info, and was automatically routed to the 800 customer service phone #. The wait was 51 mins. Tried three more times at the 800 #, and each time the wait was more than 30 + mins. Need more help! I ended up with with my secondary card charged, as I could not get through. At the location, everyone was courteous, and the equipment was in good condition. They need a couple of chairs for waiting customers.CHARLOTTE D.

I was told various responses from different people about me renting here. From customer service in store to customer service abroad. Also, my card was charged extra. No bueno. Will not use again nor recommend.Briana N.
The after hours rent process needs work. The part where you share your location to make sure your at the right u-haul didn't work. And that prevented me from completing the process. All you really need is a barcode at the location where you can scan to show what location your at.VANNARA K.

Noel Marin, the store manager was very unprofessional. I ordered 7 U-Boxes from the Norcross location and booked some movers through U'Haul's refural program. Movers never showed! Noel have away my U-Boxes without notifying me. He claimed to have called; not true. Had to hire movers to load my stuff into their storage units, unload them and then load into my new house; cost me 4 000 $extra! The storage units had holes in them! I was charged an after service fee. Which no one told me about. I dropped off the rental to one place and was told that place didn't not take trailers and was threaten to be charged more for possible towing. My experience with uhaul was horrible. I was charge for extra mileage after I was Supposed to get an additional 200 miles. I had to drive 95 miles for the uhaul to begin with. I'm incredibly disappointedBarry A.

My boxes apparently arrived early because my incorrect credit card was charged, but when I contacted Uhaul nobody could find them. It took over 10 hours on the phone and 3 weeks to track them down. I had to purchase new household stuff -1 400 $ because the boxes were missing and new clothes -500 $ when they arrived because one of the UBoxes leaked, creating mold damage . It nearly ruined 6 000 $worth of mattresses but fortunately the water and mold damage only affected the mattress protector. Ironically a 125 $mattress protector worked better than a 2 000 $UBox.Jennifer V.

The car trailer at initial location had to be jacked up beyond the max adjustable height to reach the hitch ball on my 2011 Chevy Suburban so that when I placed my 1988 Chevy 1500 truck on the tandem wheel trailer all of the weight was placed on the hitch of my SUV. I had to drive almost 600 miles at a max speed of 50 miles per hour, when I try to do 55 mph the trader would fishtail violently I felt unsafe the whole way to my destination. I stopped at a Uhaul center in Charlotte NC to request that a 4 to 5 inch hitch drop be placed on trailer as to disperse the weight to the tandem trailer tires they said the would not do it at their expense it would cost me 60 dollars for the hitch extension plus cost of changing ball. Cars on the highway i used 85 north travel often at 70 mph and many in excess of that speed. I thank God I did not cause an accident or be involved in an accident... I feel like my life was put in jeopardy because of that tow. I will tell everyone of my experience and it would be okay with me if I never have to rent anything from Uhaul the rest of my life. The drop off of trailer was a terrible experience as well. No one was at the center I was directed to drop off trailer during normal business hours.Clifton L.

I spent over 10 hours on the phone tracking down my boxes even though they arrived 3 weeks early. I had to purchase over 1 000 $worth of household items because my pods were missing. Woodstock charged the wrong credit card, 3 weeks early. I had to prepay 2 000 $to lower points on my mortgage because the wrong card was charged without my permission. The people I spoke with from corporate customer service were consistently hanging up and transferring me, and extraordinarily rude (a man on Wednesday 8/18). My well wrapped grandfathers clock and China hutch were both damaged and require repair. I wish I had used a different resource for moving. This Uhaul move cost me nearly double due to Uhaul's carelessness.Jennifer V.

The customer service at this location was atrocious. Employees were standing around engaging in very personal conversations. When we went in to check on our uboxes and arrange delivery, rather than helping us we were given a number to "go home and call". After calling for 3 days with no success, we returned only to be offered a number to call. Only because we pressed hard were we able to conclude our business. I will never use uhaul again.KIT M.

Antwan at the Norcross, GA facility was the only one who really went above and beyond to help locate my ubox container. There were several hours of phone calls, countless hours of getting the runaround, and being transferred several times to different representatives. The majority of the people I spoke with in customer service, scheduling, etc., had a nonchalant attitude, they lacked any concern for the issue caused by uhaul (not knowing where my ubox was located), and they all exhibited very POOR customer service. I will not use the ubox shipping service EVER again, and I will reevaluate whether or not I will keep my monthly uhaul storage rental.alexis P.

I reserved and verified a 4x8 trailer. Got there and it wasn't available and had to take a 6x12 which I purposefully didn't rent, because I didn't need one that big and the gas mileage is not good pulling that big box. But, I had to have a trailer. The trailer also leaked (either from the floor up or through the roof. I had a lot of things get very wet.Jason R.
My original reservation was long and drug out. I was inconvenienced for 3 days. The attendant Miguel actually laughed at my frustration as if he did not care at all. My appointment was at 10:00am to install a hitch on my car. I was told by the manger to come back at 11:00am because the employee would arrive at 11:00am. I returned at 11:00am and I was told the employee will arrive at 11:30am. There were no other employees who could install a hitch, only one employee. The employee finally arrive at 11:45 and installed the hitch. I will never go back to this U-Haul location again.Tracey B.

I made a 10:00 AM appointment on-line for the installation. I arrived to fid out that the person who could do the installation wasn't scheduled to arrive until 11:30. I came back later and my car was taken back immediately to do the installation. As I was leaving ai heard a sound. I found out that the muffler wasn't reattached, so i had to head back to have the issue fixed. It was fixed quickly though.Lyle M.

The U-Haul representatives at the facility were very helpful and got me right out the door. However, I am very displeased with rental truck #DC 2240N, The main seat in the vehicle, the drivers seat was ripped exposing wires in the seat that poked me uncomfortably during my travel and eventually ripping my jogging pants and cut the back of my thigh. Were I had to pause the moving and tend to the wound with cleaning, disinfecting, and bandaging up the affected area to my left thigh. I had to throw away my jogging pants. Change into jeans, which I still had to endure the stabbing pain of the wires in the seat through my bandage. I eventually got through my move and returned the truck. Because it was after hours when I dropped the equipment off I had no one to reference my issue to. I tried to change trucks during my check-in, but unfortunately was not able to do that because the representative told me that this was the truck they had on the reservation for me. I have a history of rentals from U-Haul and this is the very first time I had to deal with something like this, ever. I would not have had to pay an additional day rental for turning the equipment in late and not placing the gas back exactly where it needed to be, because of the hold up of an injury that your equipment caused. By the end of my few hours of move I was truly disgusted and just wanted to return the equipment back to the facility that I received it from. I was moving my business office equipment from one location to another and I was not expecting to be injured by my hauling vehicle. My truck initially was unavailable as we were told they over booked even though we paid in advance. After about 15 minutes of frustrating conversations with the counter and finally obtaining my refund I was leaving empty handed with no truck to move my job kids to college. Suddenly, a truck became available and we were formate it worked out. The frustration was tied to a lack of sense that anyone seemed to care one way or the other. Perhaps 8 am not being fair to the counter workers, as the over booking likely is out of their control and Mikey frustrating fir them to deal with as well. However, it translated in a very poor experience.Jack C.
Where do I start? Easily the worst experience I've ever had renting a truck. The truck was TERRIBLE! The check engine light was on the entire time. I told them when I picked it up. Lady at desk said it's fine it's just a sensor. Called several times throughout the day because there's some crazy rattling when you press on gas. The truck felt like it was going to break down any moment. It would hiccup and have trouble accelerating in speed then just randomly slow down. I finally talked to someone and they told me that the truck has been in and out of the shop and that there are no more trucks so I would have to call roadside assistance if I broke down. Yes, that really happened. Also the steering wheel got locked up at one point and I couldn't get it out of park for several hours. I couldn't get anyone on the phone to help. I cakes location they again told me to call roadside. I called roadside and was stuck on hold forever. Literally never got through. I finally got it to change to drive. Overall this was a terrible uhaul experience. DO NOT LET ANYONE DRIVE DC 1660 G truck. I really can't believe they allow anyone to drive that truck. What was supposed to be exciting day turned into unnecessary stress that could've been prevented. I will continue to escalate this. No one seems to care.Casey A.
My only comment is about my last visit: I arrived and my presence was not acknowledged. None of the staff, but particularly one lady, could not even respond to me asking for assistance. I rented 7 U-Box's and reserved a moving company through U-Haul's referral system. The movers never showed up. So, the Manger, "Noel," from the Norcross location just gave my boxes away. No call, no warning at all!! He is an uncaring awful human being. I had to hustle to find same-day movers, which I did. But sine Noel gave away my boxes, I was screwed. The only thing that I did not like About this experience is that I called customer service about the size storage unit and he assured me all of my belongings would fit in 1 unit and they did not. I ended up having to get 2 storage units. Now I have to hire help again to get everything back out and find a new storage place that can fit everything. I could never get into my unit because of the property manager having control issues. I reside out of town and when I would come back in town to retrieve merchandise from my unit, I could not gain access because she constantly changed my access code on the gate without notice. It got pretty expensive to have to stay a extra night on three separate occasions when I was trying to gain access after store hours, and wasn't given a adequate reason why I access code was changed on so many occasions.Francias C. | Expérience générale

You have an employee Her name is Pondra, that was forcing me to buy insurance on the storage, when I had previously talked to 2 different people that didn't mentioned anything about an insurance, she said I had to purchase insurance since I was getting the first month "free" for he storage and then she got upset because I asked to talk to her manager Noel Marin. Also the unit I had previously "reserved" #1020 was an occupied unit and we found out until we got there. Then I had to comeback to the office to let them know. They took a long time to find out what unit was available because I told them I had seen unit 1018 empty and I wanted that one, but they said it wasn't available (an empty unit). They didn't give me that one. Then I finally leave the office with a different unit # and they didn't give a new gate code, so I got lock out outside the gate because my previous gate code didn't work anymore after they changed my storage unit and the truck was inside already the storage area.... well, I had to comeback to the office AGAIN and everybody was gone so, I had to chase them down to get them to fix my situation. So once inside your employee Pondra was very upset because it was past 7 pm and they were still dealing with "ME" but she didn't want to help me with anything, she totally ignored my previous request for help when I was inside the office. She pretended that didn't see me and pretended to be busy, even when I tried talking to her she will answer "hold on" and disappear and stay outside talking with people. Finally they figured out what to do with the gate code and made me choose a new code number, so this time I asked Somarion to walk with me to the gate and make sure I had it right. And while I was dealing with this whole situation Pondra was rude to my son, she asked him to move from in front of her because he (my son) wasn't supposed to "see her counting the money"... note: he was sitting on the customer area, just waiting for me to finish and she was inside the employee side and she had the decency to ask him to move from there and she told him "he wasn't supposed" to see her with the money YES just like that. It was a very frustrating experience that took almost 2 long hours to complete and get right. I was really upset!!! This location seems understaffed for the amount of business, however the staff on site are friendly and helpful. The facility is clean and well lit. I had some trouble with access to my indoor storage unit the last time I was there and had to wait for someone to help...I was told I was the first one to access the indoor units that day so my code wasn't opening the doors and they had to be opened by a manager, seems odd for a facility that is supposed to have 24 hour access.eric l. | Premières impressions

Tamara Fox and her coworkers were so kind and went above and beyond to help me. My vehicle was damaged caused by the Uhaul pick-up location in Grapevine Tx. Grapevine location did not place the tire rubber stoppers on the auto transport (services I paid them for) and the bottom of my vehicle was cracked and dragging on the ground preventing me from driving.
