Make sure engine is serviced before renting out. Engine light was on entire time. Tech at the location said it probably needed oil, but sent me out anyway. There wasn't anything to secure dolly to while in motion.LORIE T.

A employee from this location called us to see when we were going to return the trailer. We had run into unexpected traffic due to a serious accident which delayed us several hours. The employee was extremely rude to us over the phone and hung up on us when we told him we likely wouldn't make it in before closing. I drove 32 miles. I put in 3 gallons of gas at the gas station right next door to match the level it was at when I left. I was still charged for 2 gallons of gas when I returned that truck. Either these trucks are getting 6 miles a gallon or you are trying to nickel and dime your customers and hope they don't notice. This is a terrible business practice just for Uhaul to make an extra 9 $. I have used Uhaul multiple times, but you have lost a customer going forward because you wanted an extra 9 $. We drove 3 blocks to my son apartment loaded it went to leave apartment complex and didn't get out of parking lot oil light came on no oil in truck we called for help got none we tried calling place three blocks away for help no one answered phone we had to send someone there to tell them the truck had no oil they had the nerve to ask if we were sure it didn't have oil they sent one quart of oil for truck with the person we sent we had to add extra oil ourselves what a joke someone or everyone didn't do their jobs so we were left in100 degree weather with a fully loaded truck on our own Is that what you call good businessGARY O.

My reservation was canceled twice without me doing so. Ended getting a 6 x 12 trailer. Had a huge problem they gave us to small ball hitch. Had to stop constantly to make sure everything was okay. I reserved a 15ft truck for 9am to pickup. The truck was not there at 9pm, I waited an hour until uhaul told me I had to go pick it up at a different location. This delayed my trip and cost me more to pay my hourly movers. The truck itself was fine outside of the terrible gas mileage. Overall awful experience.Evan K.
I had issues with the mobile pick-up option and it close to 15 minutes to get my truck checked. Then I was expected to have the truck turned in on time even though I wasn't able to get the truck out of the lot despite me being early for the pickup time. Not sure what the good things about the mobile pickup are if you have to go into the store anyway to get the keys.Logan P.

This company site charged premium prices. For an unsecured storage room. Nice new fancy gate that only secured one side of the parking lot. I was provided a fob for this gate but turned it in three times because it didnt work. Found out final week of my lease no one had bothered to enter all of the correct numbers. The sales person at this location directed me onto the car dolly, and then he secured the car. When I arrived in Rogers Arkansas, the right front wheel was completely unsecured and the dolly was crooked under the car. I think this is a very very dangerous situation. This location was great. Initially arrived upset since we had gone to a different Uhaul location and my reservation had been cancelled and was moved to that location. 2 days late on loading with a 7 week advance reservation due to no empty u boxes, what I was told by Dynasty Movers who loaded them. Then someone changed my delivery dates without speaking to me. They tried to charge me 1 900 $on fuel instead of the 1 158 $per contract. Customer service the 800 number was useless, not informed or couldn't see what they needed to cause your computer system SUCKS. After I made several phone calls and damn near yelling at people, finally Mike called me to help. He paid the difference in fuel cost and got my stuff down to me in Missouri. The date was later than promised but earlier than what someone put into your messed up computer system. The only way I would use U-Haul again is if time didn't matter then they could do what they want. I wouldn't recommend U-Haul on moving their items UNLESS time didn't matter when they get their belongings.. To improve would be to open up the system so your customer service reps, who has to deal with us can see everything about the move.. I want to acknowledge one customer service rep named, Keanna. She was sweet, kind, comsiderate and patient with me. With her assistance we got the billing correct and I wasn't over charged, even though you all tried to bill my card but over the allowed amount, ha. Also thank you Mike who called from a 712 area code for getting my belongings to me..Mark A.

He did assist us but as of right now I am concerned as what was discussed about pricing and accommodating us due to Uhaul's issues on not reserving appropriately. We do have 2 storage units that I expect to pay same pricing as what I had for the storage we were to receive. As of right now the website does not show that. But, this time they let me know I left my moving blankets inside and that they would set them aside, however they could not be found when I got there this time. I have already called and spoken to the GM. Your staff needs a refresher on corporate policies and customer service. He (GM) was kind enough to let me know he is refunding me the 15 late fee that was incurred in November on my account because the notice of late payment was mailed to my old address. He also listened to my concerns and reassured me he would work to communicate his expectations to his employees. I rented a pick up truck from Enterprise to collect my items. I do not plan on using Uhaul in any capacity moving forward. Which is unfortunate considering Uhaul was my preferred brand and I recommended them to everyone I knew. That all ended thanks to the poor customer service at this location. I sold my house in April and had to move 4 separate times for work. Moving forward I'll keep using 2 men in a truck / black belt movers / penske /enterprise. I'll also be renting from Dino's or Armor Storage as I have done in the past. We received a free one month rental because we recently rented a car trailer. Saturday afternoon when I stopped at the L street location, there were 2 females behind the counter talking with each other. When they finally finished their non work related concersation, the smaller one asked how she could help me. I told her I had a free rental and would like a 10 x 15 rental inside if there was one available. She got up, walked to the wall behind her, pulled a sheet of paper out of a container on the wall and proceeded to study it. After about 5 minutes she said sorry we don't have any 10 x 15 units inside. We only have outside units. I told her I didn't want an outside unit and asked what was available inside. She studied the paper again for a long while then said there was one 10 x 15 unit on the second floor and an 8 x 10. I explained we had heavy furniture so the unit on the second floor wouldn't work and that we had too much for an 8 x 10. I then asked her if we took the 10 x 15outside unit could we check back and switch to an inside unit if one came available inn the next week. She said no, not when it is the free rental. I told her I would wait and talk to my boyfriend who was meeting me at the locatioon. When he arrived about 5 minutes later" we wnt inside. The two girls were on their way out the door and said we have to check a truck so you can wait if you want bub it will ve awhile. We needed a unit so we gad no chiice but to wait. Thankfully, a third male employee came into the office at that time. He immediately greeted us, asked how he could help and within 2 minutes had a 10 x 15 indoor unit pulled up on the computer to rent to us. Not sure if th e first female employee was just too lazy to help us or just not trained??? Any 45 minutes after arriving, we finally had a first floor unit. A manager might want to also speak to the 2 female employees and remind them to limit their personal conversations while customers are waiting and to avoid making comments like Ugh not another truck to check in.
