Book reservation online for 5x8 trailer, got there no 5x8 trailer available. This was the second time in 3 days that I tried to reserve 5x8 trailer and they didn't have it. When booking it says uhaul pay you 50,00 $ if the they don't keep your reservation. Told the attendant you know we me 50,00 $ because reservation was not correct. He just ignored it.

Dusty and dirty interior. It was very clear that it wasn't disinfected between customers. The tire pressure was dangerously low on all four tires of the vehicle they gave me. l had to go back in and wait in line a second time for them to put air in the tires so I could leave safely. They also recorded the wrong mileage for the vehicle so I had to have them fix that as well before I left. When I originally arrived I was the only customer there, so this should have been a quick transaction to get me on the road... but it ended up taking 2 hours from the time I arrived until the time I got to leave with my uhaul, which was completely unnecessary and happened solely because they were cutting corners and I had to wait for them to redo things correctly.

Going inside is far easier and quicker than mobile check out, especially considering all the pictures. I was very pleased renting a pickup, I'm not a truck person and this makes it possible not to be with a reasonable option when I need to be.

Website needs to be updated to make it easier to extend a rental. I wish there was an icon or link in the main menu that plainly says “Modify / extend existing rental agreement”. Customer service phone helped me adjust my contract but I waited 25 minutes waiting for a live person. Phone recording could give better directions on how to modify the contract. My time and employees time was wasted on a simple fix.

Had difficulty returning after hours with return link so tried a second cell phone and was successful. Called 800 #before trying 2nd cell phone and it was never answered after 15 minutes so hung up.

The check in process was smooth with social distancing, masking (although the employees were pretty loose about covering their noses) and the computer services working properly. Once I got to the counter the entire process took about 5 minutes. The 15' truck was filthy on the outside and I took pictures. The truck was 13 years old with about 125k miles on , but they had been hard miles. It ran a little rough. However the loading ramp still worked well, and I was able to make my storage locker to storage locker move in one trip. The truck handled the miles fairly smoothly. Checkout was simple by driving back to the store and having the truck inspected. I was done there in 5 minutes as well. The total expense was less than I expected.

I do not often need a truck rental, but when I do, I always go to this location! There is a big piece of the population that needs to move ir do projects over the weekend, the hours at this location make it easy to rent and drop off over the weekends and they are always friends and willing to help!

Truck issue - on this unit - every time you started the vehicle - the radio would play at highest volume. Other than that - service was excellent by the entire crew at this loacation.

Our pick up location was moved farther away, so I was charged more mileage than I had arranged for at reservation. How has UHaul not been sued for this? It's the second time it has happened to me. The appliance dolly wheels were damaged, leaving black streaks on my stairs that I will now have to pay to have professionally cleaned. Another terrible UHaul experience.

I have been dealing with this particular u- haul for years and have never had an issue. But, this time they let me know I left my moving blankets inside and that they would set them aside, however they could not be found when I got there this time. I am out those blankets and funds.

The check out after hours was a bit confusing, even with my iPhone and changing to allow the sharing of locations I couldn't do. Thankfully my bf had an Android so it worked on there no problem!

The location and staff were fantastic during operating hours. But due to zero communication given as to what was needed before returning the key, I began the return process AFTER I took some pictures of the truck, and returned the key, and ended up stuck at the location for over an hour due to the customer service line disconnecting my calls twice, and the live chat option timing me out despite me being active on the web page. Then I was issued a 15 $certificate as if I'm ever going to actually use Uhaul again, and not just switch to Budget since they have similar rates and I've never had such issues with their service, including once during a holiday.

Service here is great but the condition of the 6 by 12 cargo trailer was poor. Very hard to open the back door and slide it up. Also, holes in ceiling allowed water on our cargo little bit. Also tied a ratchet strap to one of the clips and due to corrosion it pulled the clip out of the corner. This trailer has not been well-maintained so I reported these things to the attendant who detached it for us.

Customer service. I struggled a lot finding an auto transport trailer. I began my quest online at your webpage. Tried to book one online and it didn't work, then I call. Whole other deal there with the exact pulling capacity of F250 and whatever anyways, none available after that had deal, so not until I had gone through the whole process was I told there weren't any available at all around Colombus, NE or Omaha, NE in the next two days (Sunday, Monday). I stop by UHaul in the evening as I'm in the neighborhood. And what do I find? Yes, an auto transport trailer. Store had just closed 20 minutes prior. I go in the morning at 10am to attempt to rent it and I have some luck. It had not been checked in the shift before and I reserve it. I had to drive to Colombus to get the vehicle I was pulling with and it just so happens the UHaul there is on the same block as aunt's restaurant. There's two auto transport trailers there. I had to drop off the auto transport trailer at this same location and they had not been moved at all. So why were these auto transport trailers not showing up online? Had they not been checked in either? I used the trailer to save some money on the towing of broken down car. It was inconvenient to have to go through this whole spiel.

I was charged for 8 gallons of fuel when I only went 17 miles with the vehicle and I put gas in it before bringing it back! Then I was also charged twice for the insurance and the dolly for the few hours I had the truck!

The check engine light came on in the middle of our move. We were in a terrible snow storm where we got stuck and couldn't get more gas. I was still charged the full amount. I will never use this location again for their unreliable trucks and terrible customer service.

I have already called and spoken to the GM. Your staff needs a refresher on corporate policies and customer service. He (GM) was kind enough to let me know he is refunding me the 15 late fee that was incurred in November on my account because the notice of late payment was mailed to my old address. He also listened to my concerns and reassured me he would work to communicate his expectations to his employees. I rented a pick up truck from Enterprise to collect my items. I do not plan on using Uhaul in any capacity moving forward. Which is unfortunate considering Uhaul was my preferred brand and I recommended them to everyone I knew. That all ended thanks to the poor customer service at this location. I sold my house in April and had to move 4 separate times for work. Moving forward I'll keep using 2 men in a truck / black belt movers / penske /enterprise. I'll also be renting from Dino's or Armor Storage as I have done in the past. They have provided me much better customer service, rental rates, security etc. Thank you for seeking my feedback. Have a blessed day.

We received a free one month rental because we recently rented a car trailer. Saturday afternoon when I stopped at the L street location, there were 2 females behind the counter talking with each other. When they finally finished their non work related concersation, the smaller one asked how she could help me. I told her I had a free rental and would like a 10 x 15 rental inside if there was one available. She got up, walked to the wall behind her, pulled a sheet of paper out of a container on the wall and proceeded to study it. After about 5 minutes she said sorry we don't have any 10 x 15 units inside. We only have outside units. I told her I didn't want an outside unit and asked what was available inside. She studied the paper again for a long while then said there was one 10 x 15 unit on the second floor and an 8 x 10. I explained we had heavy furniture so the unit on the second floor wouldn't work and that we had too much for an 8 x 10. I then asked her if we took the 10 x 15outside unit could we check back and switch to an inside unit if one came available inn the next week. She said no, not when it is the free rental. I told her I would wait and talk to my boyfriend who was meeting me at the locatioon. When he arrived about 5 minutes later" we wnt inside. The two girls were on their way out the door and said we have to check a truck so you can wait if you want bub it will ve awhile. We needed a unit so we gad no chiice but to wait. Thankfully, a third male employee came into the office at that time. He immediately greeted us, asked how he could help and within 2 minutes had a 10 x 15 indoor unit pulled up on the computer to rent to us. Not sure if th e first female employee was just too lazy to help us or just not trained??? Any 45 minutes after arriving, we finally had a first floor unit. A manager might want to also speak to the 2 female employees and remind them to limit their personal conversations while customers are waiting and to avoid making comments like Ugh not another truck to check in. Oh God, now there are two . Crap.

I must say, the store @ 86th & L is the cleanest Uhaul I have ever been in. The lobby spotless, restrooms the cleanest, staff was in Uhaul clothing , nothing was needed,AWESOME .customer experience.. The storage room was very dirty. I brought a broom and filled a dust pan with previous tenants debris. Everything else could not have been better. Easy access, I like the free use of the carts, the security is reassuring and I like the loading dock.

I thought it was outstanding that we got a curtosey call checking on us. Then I had no idea of where to begin looking for a storage unit and it was brought to our attention that the 1st months rent was free through Uhaul! We save so much money thank you for that. Only challenge was floor repair next to unit covered items in storage with fine concrete dust. Contractors need to seal area better when doing floor repairs.

When I went to remove my contents that were stored they were covered with a layer of grit. I had to clean it myself before I could have it moved.
