Edward D.Customer service. Knowledge of equipment return. When I tried to return the lady told me I would have to come back the next day and return the Van. Also told me it would not do any good to call 800 Uhaul because they would tell me the same thing, but of course I have rented before and I knew the information she gave me was wrong. Think I will just change my location on rental.
Mary S.The original storage was reserved for the Mendenhall location. I pick the truck up and they say they don't have a storage available. So I ask the worker if she can call another store. She did and Lamar had 1 climate control available. I go to Lamar and the unit smells like mildew from the rat poison materials they put down. I had to take any items that were clothing, cloth and mattresses to place in a friend's garage in fear that they would be damaged beyond repair. This is totally frustrating as it was a Sunday and close to closing time. They need to maintain their units wit an odorless product. My movers were having reactions from being in the unit any length of time.

CHARLIE A.U-Haul app and website lack the ability to change sn existing reservation. Also, there doesn't seem to be much of an integrated inventory management system. It is difficult to know what location has what, especially when renting more than one item.

anna mae G.The truck smelled like cigarette smoke when I got it and I had to call in to inform customer service because there isn't a place on the check in form for something like that. When I went to return the truck every entrance had been blocked off and the only way to get in was to go around to one driveway on the busiest part of the intersection-it's a heavy highway with semi trucks and lots of traffic. The only way to get in is to go around just about a mile around this huge block. They would not comp me the mile because they blocked off the driveway.

The staffing shortage is overwhelming to customers & only one person assisting 10 or more customers at once, but overall I will use this location in the future if needed

No need to call the District Manager cause she has already said he not going to do anything but send your complaint back to HER!! I see why you can't do any work the manager to dust buying Perfume and other stuff from people coming up there to the store , If people show up to work on TIME we could have avoided this whole situation, only ONE person at the store waiting on people and checking people in is CRAZY!! because someone could have went through the checkpoint with me and NOT tell me to leave the keys in the truck and we good and then u charge me 25$ for cleaning a sheet of paper out the back of a truck!! They DID assist us for which we were thankful, it's just the place was disorganized and quite a mess.
