-Horrible!!! An absolutely horrible experience. I will never again use U-Haul, EVER! My pick up date was changed and no one could be bothered to call to tell me. I ended up having to have my 81 year old father help me load due to this change. My original help would've arrived hours after the pickup. I was lucky I found out about the change the day before, otherwise you would have shown up to pickup and the box would have still been empty. -I was provided misinformation about the delivery to the final destination and how that pickup would happen. -My delivery date to the final destination was changed multiple times. -The UBox was not picked up from the final destination when it was scheduled to be. I was called the day it was supposed to be picked up and asked if "it was ok to come in two additional day". After I said no, I was basically told too bad. I will never again use U-Haul. I will never recommend U-Haul to anyone. I paid WAY too much money for this service and all of these problems. U-Hail made my move 1000 times more stressful and a horrible experience

Hi, I was charged for a whole extra day - $40 for out of town because I handed in the keys of the truck 2 hours late. However, I was already in town with the truck. Even though the truck was already on the property from the day the before. It took me longer than expected to unload the truck. I had had 3 surgeries on my dominant hand and surgeries on both shoulders. It was just very hard for me. I just could not unload it faster. When the truck was due to be turned in at 3:00pm, I went in the office and begged for more time. The young lady gave me until 4:00pm, but I just could not completed it by 4pm. When I finally returned it at 5:00pm, she said that I inconvenienced another customer from renting the truck because I turned it in late. I don't necessarily believe that. The next nightmare was the storage room facility. Both Saturday and Sunday - The place was STINK!! Not my actual unit. But, when you enter the building there was a horrible stench from a toilet that needed fixing. I can understand for the first day because things happen, but I cannot understand why it was not fixed the following day. The next issue is with my actual unit. There is a 2 feet by 2 feet post from the building that takes up part of my 10 feet by 10 feet floor space. This is unfair!! I am not getting what I am paying for. There should be some consideration for this; I think that there should be a discount for this. Thank you,

Brock at the Perry St. Buffalo location was terrific, very helpful. called Niagara Falls location to arrange the car transport for us. At the Niagara Falls location Erica and everyone who helped us were also fantastic.

One of the vehicles was in dire need of a wheel alignment making it extremely difficult to drive in the Virginia area which is significant hilly and mountainess region

Wonderfull staff here and trust me, I've been to many U-haul locations. Every person was genuinely nice and went above and beyond to help me. Super clean facility and they all should get a raise.

Amazing customer service. Wish I was told on the website that I couldn't return to a different location as I requested. Had I know I may have gotten from a different location. Athena was amazing so I'll make Perry my go to uhaul location.

Although I was late picking up the trailer (near closing time) due to the pickup location being changed, the gentleman was very patient and made sure everything was satisfactory.

The facility was clean and well maintained. Not to mention, the monthly rates are affordable. The staff was always friendly and very helpful. They provided superb customer service and should be recognized for their efforts. The manager, Carolin leads her team by example. She was always accommodating when I needed help or had questions. U-Haul at Larkin District gets 5 stars!

The hard work of the staff at this location, and Genesee Street, are the only reason I'd ever come back. The corporate policy requiring people to have a credit card is absolutely unfair and I hope it costs u haul more in lost, good, loyal, customers than whatever a few bad customers cost u haul.

Went to the location on Main St Buffalo and was told they didn't have the truck I reserved because someone lost a key. Had to go to the location on Perry St. And the employees there were very professional, friendly and helpful. I will be using this location for my future needs. The Main St. location needs HELP! It is understaffed and the customer service is sketchy at best.

Both young ladies were kind, attentive, knowledgeable and helpful. They made the pick-up and return both simple and expedient. We plan to rent from this location again and definitely recommend this location for all your moving needs!

The one negative was the woman behind the counter. She was working with another customer but stopped what she was doing to be nasty to us about where our personal vehicle was parked. instead of nicely telling us that our vehicle was in not a customer spot she basically scolded us about it in an abrasive manner. She could have nicely told us we needed to move it before leaving with our rental. You couldn't see the markers for the customer spots due to the snow and were parked next to one of the uhauls on the opposite side of the lot

Renting equipment from this uhaul location could not have been any better. Clean store, right pricing, & friendly staff. Carolin runs a professional operation & I will mot go to another store for my equipment.

No need for improvements. This location is running like a well oiled machine. All the employees are friendly, courteous, and go above and beyond for the customer. Hands down the best UHaul in the Buffalo area. Keep up the great work!!!

1st time at this location. It didn't exist when I left town 12 yrs ago,but I was impressed with everything and everyone there. Quick service and with a smile. I recommend them for sure.

I opted for moving help. But the uhaul in RI said it is self move and wasted a lot of my time. Initially they even said that the box didn't arrive. Overall it was very bad experience with U-Haul. I am not sure if I will do it again.

It takes forever to rent a truck when it should not especially if I am renting a storage unit. You should not give out truck rentals based upon expected return dates but instead of when the trucks are actually returned. I based my moving for my employment based on these dates, however, those are not accurate in your database. Not to mention the super small storage units uhaul offers for a free month. This should be based off of the truck size that is rented not what you have available. I had an extremely hard time fitting a 26 foot truck rental into a space that is meant for a 2 bedroom apartment. Im sure guys can do better and since I manage 200 ppl on a daily basis I do not understand the barrier here. Merci.

I was NEVER given an access card or code to get in after hours had to go and hope a door would open the facility was clean and climate controlled but not rodent controlled if storing anything there again would make sure it could not be destroyed by rodents which some of my things were

Knowing how stressful moving can be and I'm a first time storage user all the staff and management was very helpful and assisted with making me feel less nervous about the whole thing. I'm very thankful....great customer service  I've already told people to try there if they have any storage needs.

The only thing I disapproved of was my reservations were changed without me knowing it and I had a long trip I feel as if no one is on the same page and that is so unfair to paying customers thank you

Reservation for a storage that was already occupied so got no storage because employees did not check to make sure after a hour trip . So I traveled for nothing as well . Instead of offering me a nother one for the same price they did not accommodate after their mistake very poor service. And on top of that I still ain't get my refund after they took it out .

The current Perry St location manager (Carolin Doyle) was EXTREMELY patient & helpful in resolving my most recent problem. My storage room was "presumed" to have been "vacated" - without making any attempt to contact me for verification - based on my failure to place a lock on the door, even tho it was simply because I hadn't yet moved anything into the unit. I was never prev advised that the lock was required, even on an empty unit & even tho the rent was fully paid to date. I was very impressed with her customer service efforts. I do wish, however, that there was 24 hour access to my indoor unit (or perhaps at least extended hours thru midnight or 1am) - similar to that of our outside storage units. It would simply make it more accessible when I can find help with moving my items. I am in my late 70s, & my potential helpers work til late evening.

I feel that the place was clean well lite and the staff excellent but one complaint is not with the staff or the place it's with the over all company. I paid for my storage units until may 20 but was out by may 5th no refund on the difference so would not recommend the u haul company overall

Have previously stored with U-Haul at a different location, and have had no issues. The Larkin location is closer to our new place, and I love how large the loading doc is, and that we are able to bring in both of our cars at one time to unpack. Staff has been very friendly and helpful as well.

Had multiple issues scheduling delivery of our UBox. We called multiple times to try to schedule delivery. It was delayed several days. Tried to leave alternate phone # multiple times to no avail.

I tried calling for weeks. No answer. 1 month late delivery. Premature pickup of my box. Overall poor communication. Likely won't utilize uhaul again.
