The Manager would not honor the one month free with a rental promotion. She was rude in the respect that she did not consider the validity of the email I received from u haul. She conveyed an attitude of superiority and I felt I was treated more of a bother rather that the paying customer that has spent over $2000 with uhaul in a weeks time. A particular worker had used profanity when dealing with computer issues with another customer and was smoking on the premises while the truck was being checked in. Also, the same worker continued to open and close the automatic door latches in the loading and unloading area putting myself my wife and two other customers in danger due to his negligence. The other workers could be considered fair but another worker badgered me over blankets that where in the rental storage unit and was going to charge me for them because they were not returned with the truck. As a note the agent in Springfield Mo did not have the two dozen blankets that were requested and paid for but did submit to uhaul that we had 24 blankets. The uhaul experience was difficult from the beginning. Starting with the requested truck was not at the requested facility and we had to go to another dealer to rent the truck. The truck itself handled poorly with a strong pull to the right, which I had to drive for over 1,000 miles. The brakes were soft and the mileage was disappointing. Returning the truck to Grand Junction we found the return process very time consuming and were treated poorly. The counter personnel as well as the individual who checked in the truck gave the impression that we, as customers, are a problem and we were interrupting their day. Plus there was another worker who was ill and spent her time in the bathroom relieving herself which I could hear from the counter area. As for the last of the employees when I asked if the facility had WiFi his response was “ don’t you have unlimited data”. That was the attitude I faced with uhaul. Plus, I had to buy two locks because they had to be uhaul approved locks. This same worker stated that it is policy but when asked to show policy he refused. With two trucks rented, two storage units rented and as stated before spending over $2000 with uhaul the experience was and continues to be poor. I would not recommend this uhaul facility to anyone and I plan on being out of the storage units by the end of the month just in order not to spend another dollar with that facility. A note the the IT folks at U-Haul, both locations, Tucson and Grand Junction, I used had severe problems with the current computer systems that they use, unable to log in, unable to process the orders, unable to update or close out the orders, it seemed everyone was having difficulty with your network system. Other than that it all worked out well.

When someone calls and reserves equipment it should be ready on time. The reservation people need to get the information to the local office. This didn't happen and we had to wait for them to get things ready. It takes awhile to get U-boxes ready. They need more help yet they are supposedly fully staffed according to corporate. They need more U-Box covers so everyone can get their boxes faster. Corporate needs to get it together and quit punishing the people at local offices.

I don't think it's right to charge a fee of $35.00 just to set up for 24 hour access. Otherwise, the facility was acceptable.

The manager is not a people person. I went in two weeks early to make a reservation for a very time sensitive rental of a 15’ truck. He spelled my name wrong and put the wrong date (one week later than I needed) on my reservation. A few days later I happened to look at the tiny (7 font?) characters on the paper he printed out and noticed it then. I returned and had him correct it. Both times he made me wait while he gossiped with staff. He was engaged only when enthusiastically explaining that a reservation was not a guarantee of availability. So, an unfriendly and inattentive person in a customer contact role. Not ideal.

This Location was even open at 8 PM on a Friday night. I had forgotten my phone and the Contract in my car. While his Internet Service gave him a bit of difficulty getting connected he used my phone number to look up my Information, checked it in, and even sent an email right then and there to show I'd checked it in. That was great expecailly on A rainy Friday night after 7 PM.

My reservation got messed up, I reserved a 26' truck for 1 way, 1 month in advance. Get to location to pick up, no truck available. I had to delay my move 3 days, and get a 26' local truck and make a 12 hour round trip drive to return the truck, even though I reserved a 1 way, 1 month in advance. On top of that, the truck broke down and I was stuck for 3 hours waiting for repairs.

Only thing I could say is that the scheduling facility needs to realize what each locations have in inventory. Nothing to do with the location itself, just that the scheduler reserved me for a truck they didn’t have in stock. Again not the locations fault at all.

We had to wait for almost 30 minutes. Once we were helped, we were charged for a 15 ft truck despite reserving a 10 ft truck. The worker was not very clear and was very uncomfortable to speak with.

never asked about where the trailer would be taken to after use. Went to hand trailer in and they said it was to be taken to same place I got it but no one ever asked where I needed to deliver it to. They ended up charging $40 extra to deliver trailer to another dealer. Very BAD service and they are after taking advantage of people. Will never use uhaul again!

I was sent to a uhaul in I believe Grand Junction Colorado they charged me 230 dollars .then after an hour of wasted time and money. Was told I didn't have a reservation? Then was not told where to go to get my uhaul car transport. I had to spend 250 dollars on a hotel for my son and I in Rifle Colorado at the Hampton hotel. Once in the hotel I contacted uhaul and got a reservation at a different uhaul in grand Junction Colorado? Why the other uhaul did not mention this is very unclear? After I left grand Junction I drove endlessly until my son and I had a mental breakdown in The Hampton hotel parking lot in rifle Colorado. Wasted day money gas time how iri uhaul in business???

The manager completed my reservation when I arrived and he was a great guy and very helpful. When I returned the vehicle saturday evening, there was only one young man working who was cleaning vehicles. Apparently, he's a one man show that end of the day at the location, but he was great and helpful as well.

We are very happy with the UBox program. We packed the boxes ourselves, and had the boxes stored for 1.5 months while we bought and closed on a house. The boxes arrived in perfect condition.

We had a great experience with the U-Haul in Grand Junction. Reuben was helpful, professional and a good listener. When we booked the reservation at the call center there seemed to be a disconnect with trafficking and the local Ft. Collins office. Things were very confusing. It was a breath of fresh air when we arrived in Grand Junction and had Reuben to deal with.

My experience was primarily with Reuben Magner in receiving and coordinating the unloading of my 3 UBoxes. Reuben was excellent from start to finish...from receiveing to enlisting help for unloading!
