PIck up was to be the West 117th location. When I contacted the West 117th location they said they could not help me and that I had to travel to the the 16515 Lorain location. The staff at the 16515 location did a great job of taking care of our requirements. However, according to your moto that flashes on the credit card reader, UHaul has the right equipment available at the right location. Obviously that was not the case here as we have to travel many miles from the reserved location to pick up are equipment. .Chad M.

Need additional CSRs. Nicholas was great ( no issue there), but he was the only one at the front desk. Busy Saturday morning â€¦ it was going to be big delays if he was the only one.William M.
This location was difficult to work with. The UHaul app didn't work. When returning the equipment, we waited for approximately 20 minutes even after walking around to find someone to help us. Then, the team charged us for gas even though we filled the tank up to above 3/4 line, when they later stated the line needed to be at the 15/16 line. There were not even 16 lines on the gas gauge, so not sure how they determined that the tank was below 15/16. I would have preferred if they told us just to fill up the tank all the way. Overall left our moving experience very dissatisfied and felt like we were taken advantage of. I will not use this location again.Samuel P.

The store took my online order, and had the trailer ready for my arrival. There was no line when I arrived, so they were able to help me right away. Although they [understandably] wouldn't allow me to rent the trailer because I didn't have a trailer wire harness, they were able to install a wire harness on the spot. The install took about an hour, and the installer did a very clean and professional install job in accordance with the installation instructions. No shortcuts were made in the install. I appreciated them getting the light/wire harness installed, so I could safetly do the towing I needed for that day, and any time I needed to tow again in the future. When I returned the truck, the system was having issues and it delayed my return process because the apps were telling an absurdly different out mileage than my printed contract (and verified when I first used the truck). The system/software needs improvement.Oscar S.
The cab smelled like cigarettes, there was no one at the front desk to process my order, I waited 15 minutes in an empty store. Then when someone came in, he made it feel like I, as a customer who needed to be checked out and was at the front desk with a big sign that said customer entrance, was inconveniencing him and that I should of went searching for him in a strange parking lot I've never been to.Marnie B.

I recently had an issue with my bank not posting my actual acct. balance , when I returned the truck back to U-Haul , I didn't have the money to fill up the gas. I was charged for the amount of gas that was low , which did not go thru at the time, but was paid the next day. They did not charge me a bounced fee. They have always been good to me , as I rent quite often. This is the first time this has happened , I will always rely on U-Haul , aspecially at this location ( 16515 Lorain ave. Cleveland, Ohio) They are excellent!Richard A.

Marc, this locations manager, was awesome in his customer service skills and his willingness to make the customer happy. The cargo trailer was ready when promised...brand new, as promised...and the front desk check-in associate, Nicholas, was very professional and courteous and helpful. This is an outstanding location for U-Haul equipment and is well managed with quality personnel.robin S.

My reservation was originally for the Brookpark location. Upon arriving I was informed my trailer was damaged and I would have to drive across town for another trailer. I arrived at the W. 165th location and the lady who helped me was excellent and is the only reason I am giving 2 stars. However, upon returning, I ran into traffic coming out of New York which required my complete attention and delayed me past my expected return time. Upon trying to explain to the general manager I was met with very unprofessional and rude attitude with him asking me why I didn't call. The general manager wanted me to call while driving - there was no place to pull off - a fully loaded trailer which in my opinion was not safe. He then assumed a condescending attitude by telling me that he would wave the extra half day "as a courtesy to you even though you don't deserve it". I was very offended and think the general manager at this branch needs a thorough lesson on customer service as he should not represent u-haul. This is the worst place that I have been to in the Cleveland area..I had a reservation for a truck and auto transporter...made it with 1800Goyhaul and there was no transporter and before I left one came in and I could not get it and another employee said that I didn't have a reservation so I will not ever be using uhaul again I'll get a truck and beg someone to transport my car...u people are poor service and they don't care about nothing but a pay checks...FUCK UHAULKelvin H.

This location was severely understaffed - there was a significant line to pick up the truck - Once I got the truck it was in poor condition and the air conditioning didn't work - I was not able to get ahold of the location by phone after this (I had already left). The reservation process went smoothly, the pick-up of the trailer went smoothly, it loaded great, it handled great, it is an extremely well designed unit with its onboard ramps, fold down left fender, tie down ratchets, and the jack on the tongue. I had a little difficulty doing the online check in when I returned the trailer at the location's off-hours, but it did not cause a problem with the total rental fees.Don E.

After they get your money - return is easy and attendant very nice. When picking up - not so good - i stopped and made a reservation for my truck thing it would make pick up easier. NOT A CHANCE. They made me go through everything all over again and then some. I did not have my phone thinking I would just go in for verification and grab a key. They needed to contact someone to verify I was picking the truck up. WHY- they have my license and credit card info. I had to wait until my wife returned to the house and answer the phone. I was told this was to verify who I was- THIS IS CRAZY - after finally contacting my wife after 15 minutes I was given a key to a truck in row O - row O was Q worn out - after trying a van in the wrong row because the Q looks like an O I finally found the correct truck - OHHH by the way it was RAINING. After opening the truck the passenger window was left open and cab full of water. So back into the office - OH did I mention it was RAINING. After getting my second truck I realized the truck is given to you with a 1/4 tank of gas - so off to the gas station you go. MAKES NO SENSE. Why aggravate the customer like this. I forgot to mention when I got to U-HAUL there was no one in the office - more waiting. Not a good experience.Paul F.

Employee there was rude and belligerent and hostile. She lack intelligence to read furl gauge in truck when it was returned insisting the quarter tank mark is 1/8. I couldn't get into your website despite trying 4 times from three locations including 3 with internet connection. The trailer was dirty when I arrived. I don't know why I was charged $80 more because I can't get to the website. The only reason I would recommend this location is it's convenient location.Charles H.
Upon returning my uhaul there was no place to park, several people looking for drop box for keys, called customer service. No help. Had to leave key in vehicle. Someone parked so close to truck couldn't move it if I tried upon leaving. Poor customer service. Vehicle in need of tranny repair. Cost was double what they quoted. Only put 25 miles on it. Well, the pickup truck and dolly I reserved for moved from Elyria, Ohio location on 254 & 57, to The Avon, Ohio location the next day, Then I was Updated Later in the day That I'd Have To Go To Cleveland Now To Pick It Up. Once I arrived at the Cleveland store the staff members behind the counter were working at the own pace, seemed very uncaring about other people's time. Took them around 40 + plus minutes to get me checked in, and even get the truck pulled around. When I was returning the truck and using the app to complete the return process, and employee came up to me tried to tell me that I would be paying over 100$ more then what I see on my phone. My order when I returned on my phone said 163$ she came up to me and told me it was around 270. So continued with my return checkout and only payed 163, I just dont understand why an employee would try and up sell me something or lie to me?alano T.

I think my biggest issue with the facility was that the main security door that required a 4 digit pass code to enter, could be pulled open with a moderate tug on the door. When I reserved the unit they said it was on the first floor I'm disabled and when I got there and ready to move in with all my stuff it was on the second floor with 10 steps and no elevator and I'm disabled , when I rented a truck there the manager didn't know how to split payment onto two credit cards, I had to call customer service to have it done.
