The Branch manager is the most amazing person. I would like to make a recommendation that he is rewarded. The system was down this am and he made sure that I taken care of. I can tell he is doing the jobs of 8 people but he always has taken care of me when I go to the parsons ave location. I would never go to any location other than his.David B.

I've had my storage unit with U-Haul Parsons location for over four years. This location had a habit of closing the front entrance of the storage early (i.e. 5 to 10 minutes early). And not everyone gets off work in time to make it to your location by 6:45pm on a weekday. The last experience I had at your location was with Luis Olivo, who locked the front entrance of the storage early, and demanded that I go around and use the side entrance of the storage, even though I arrived five minutes before 7:00pm. Well, the side entrance door has never opened with my card. And Luis' unwillingness to accommodate me by opening the front entrance was the last straw for me. For four years, I paid full price for a storage that I had restricted access to. And your assistant manager didn't even take care to offer good customer service. MELODY C. | Expérience générale
We made a reservation for a 6' x 12' trailer from 1314 E. 5th Columbus location. After standing in line for close to an hour and then completing all the necessary paperwork, I was told that they did not have the trailer. I then had to go to 1211 Parsons Columbus location, stand in line and fill out all the same paperwork. Very disappointingMartin L.

The service rep at the counter was excellent. I failed to get his name. I was at the 1211 Parsons Ave location in Columbus Ohio on July 31st. He was very personable. I would use U-Haul again in a heartbeat.Terry V.
Location and staff was great but the truck was very old and had issues. - The gear shift wouldn't easily go into reverse. I had to try multiple times. - The cargo door wouldn't easily shut and was off track.Robert S.

Neither furniture dollies or hand trucks were available when I had arrived although I had ordered both. The van ran just fine but had a broken windshield and damage to the back left door that was concerning when opened. The employees were friendly and accommodating and the location is convenient.Merri D.
Parsons road was great. Much better than Georgesville Road, started out having to wait with 3 people in the line, no one to be found. Finally out of the service area someone decided to help. Then they didn't have my equipment available and didn't want to help until asked for my $50 guarantee. Then I had to wait again for n magaer that finally called someone else and the found it at Parsons road. Walk in to Parsons I get a friendly greeting and professional customer service. Still was a real pain. Definitely need a better way to ensure equipment is available when it's reserved. Seriously avoid Georgesville road unless you like being treated poorly and basically like you're bothering them.Jason R.

Not over charge when returning rental. My daily rental rates kept changing in different ways (insurance , cost per mile , contract specs )even though I only asked to extend the rental each day . Our first appointment was a disaster. When my husband showed up to pick up the truck for our reservation, they told him that since he was a few minutes late they no longer had the truck and he would need to drive to the Hamilton Rd. location to get a truck. He left and started driving there, but we received a call saying they didn't have a truck either and we needed to reschedule. How does that happen?? If you have a reservation, you should hold the truck. Thankfully, we actually were able to talk to someone that was helpful and she reserved a truck for us a few days later. My husband picked up the truck and delivered it back to this location. It's a good thing we weren't on a time crunch at the time, otherwise, I would have not been recommending this location at all.Kevin J.

Pickup for a 5 X 8 trailer was quick and easy. The 500+ mile trip went very well with zero problems. The trailer towed very well the whole trip.John K.
Curious about why I was instructed to return the truck with the tank 1/4 full when the truck only had 1/8 of the tank full when I rented it? Cost me an extra $15 in gas for a $60 rental. Otherwise, the experience was great!Michael S.

Personnel at location did not review truck with me. Had to take a 26' truck instead a 20' one; more difficult to drive at 78 years of age. Truck had some "road rash" and poor front tires. The personnel at location did only the minimum.Ross M.
There was cement caked to the side of the truck that would dislodge while driving and hit the car that was following me to my locations. I called the day before to confirm my reservation and then upon arrival told that they didn't have the dolly I requested.. it would have been nice to know that when I called the day before to make accommodations to procure one.Kayla M.

I stopped into this location (1211 Parsons Ave) to rent a pickup truck. The gentleman behind the counter told me they did not have any available without a reservation and to call 1-800 U-HAUL and they would tell me a location where a truck was available. I instead called the next closest U-Haul location. The rep took my reservation and said someone would call me within a half hour or so to tell me where to go for pickup. They called and sent me back to 1211 Parsons Ave! The gentleman at the Parsons Ave location demonstrated very poor customer service. He should have taken my reservation instead of telling me to call a 1-800 number. He surely could have done what the rep did at the other location. He chose not to. This wasted my time, ultimately his time, and the rep's time I who took my reservation at a different location.STEPHEN B.

Many issues with the uhaul website when I tried to create an account and then when I tried to return the vehicle. The uhaul.com/share link was not working, I had to call and wait for a rep on the phone to finally return the vehicle. From start to finish, it took about an hour to return the vehicle which was too long. When I initially went to the location to pick up the rental, I was given a key, but when I got out to the rental; the key wouldn't turn in the ignition. I got a uhaul rep and she was not able to turn the key. We got another uhaul rep and he was finally able to turn the key after awhile. They gave me another rental; which was helpful. It just was a lengthier process than I was expecting to pick up my vehicle.Macy M.
