Everyone onsite was amazing. Super quick turn around and they answered all of my questions.

I counted on Uhaul's reliability when making my travel plans. Luckily, there was equipment located at another location 10 miles away but it did delay my whole trip. The location I picked up from was great though.

Notified UHaul office, Lexi (?) said mechanic “clear it “ with no other solution than “use itâ€.

Amithsa M.I arrived at the facility at 1855 and there was a young man helping another customer put something in his car when I pulled up. I parked in the designated spot and stayed in the truck as the sign instructed. No one came to help me so I walked up to the office and it was 1858. The facility closed at 1900 and they already had locked the doors and turned off the lights. I had to do the on line return was charged $25 even though I arrived before closing. As I was trying to log in the staff of 3 people walked out and said to just leave the key in the slot. Not helpful at all.

Stacey T.The fuel gauge was di not show the amount of fuel in the tank at time of pickup. The clerk told me that it has 11/16 amount of gas. How in the world can we determine what 11/16 fuel in a tank amounts to? Ridiculous. I was charged for 4 gallons of fuel for $19. I should be reimbursed, as I did put gas prior to returning the vehicle.
Bassim N.People, facilities, and equipment were great. We had a problem with pull-out loading ramp. It was broken and we had to spend time trying to make it work. When I returned the truck I explained this to one of truck maintenance workers, and he did a great job to understand the problem, and then went to work to fix it.

Mark A.Reservation was second time the truck promised was not available. Rates were different than original contract. Over charged and authorization unexplained 7 times. Hours after I returned the truck they then sent another invoice for amounts different than I turned in. I was even charged for more gas when I returned it with the right amount. Josh was excellent. Ericka was as well when I turned it in but there was another female unaware of the situation and was the rudest girl ever. I will never rent Uhaul ever again and I am disputing all the charges with my credit card. I never signed or agreed to any of it.
Jaclyn S.My boyfriend originally booked online to pick up the Uhaul on Friday. He had never gotten a confirmation so he called to see what was the status of the truck and the woman on the phone said that they did not have a truck available. My boyfriend said that it said it was guaranteed on the website and the woman said "it is guaranteed that you would get a call". Then she said that the truck is guaranteed or Uhaul will give us $50. She said that she would refund $50 to his account but he used a credit card so it was unclear how the refund would be sent since his card had not been charged. He then asked if he could schedule a truck for Saturday and the woman said she would not help him reschedule and hung up. He called again and she told him that she would not be rescheduling for him and hung up again. I decided to call and book a truck for Saturday. I was not asked how long I wanted it so it was booked from 5:15pm to 5:15 am. I then called Friday night to extend the time to 1:00pm and the woman on the phone told me she could not do it and that I would have to call in the morning. I called in the morning to extend and the new woman on the phone said that someone had already extended my time to 1:00pm and I was good to go. When I went to pick up the truck the woman who wouldn't even look at me and was just typing on her computer told me that I had to return it at 5:15 am and I told her I called and extended it and she said she did not have availability so I had to return it by 9:00am or I would be charged. Service was awful. I had never worked with a company that had such poor service and with members on staff that were outright rude.

savannah C.The staff helped me put my car on a flat tow bed. I drove myself from Austin, TX to Anchorage AK and my car did not move. I did not have any flat tires only a crack in my windshield due to the long snowy 90 hour mountain drive. Both the truck and tow bed performed excellent driving on the bumpy, snowy roads. We got stuck in bad weather but this U-haul did not fail us. She started up in the cold weather when it was 10 degrees outside in the Yukon. I am very pleased we made it to Alaska safely. I believed the staff or agent made a fake report on the sheet. I rented 17ft truck which may have 10MPG al least. I drove less than 35 miles and did re-fueling 4 gallon just before the returning. The extra charge must be remove or return to me

I opt for the self pick up but had a few glitches at drop off the staff were prompt out and about right on time when i picked up and dropped off greeting me ready to help. Today i had a excellent experience.
Stephany D.Pickup staff was coordinated and seemed like happy workers. Coordination at the delivery end was iffy and did not inspire confidence. All the separate charges seemed silly. Just pay for the whole package once. The lady driving the donkey to deliver at the end of the shipment was professional and wonderful. Her name was Lisa and she gets bonus points for her attitude. She was great.

John L.The rental of the trailer was a complete disaster. I rented from a location near my house that said it was available. A couple of days later I received an email telling me to pick up at ANOTHER location 30 minutes away. I went to that location and they did not have the trailer there available. Nobody knew where my rental was. I was instructed to go to a 3rd location another 30 minutes away. They finally had the trailer there to pick up. Nobody contacted me about all of these changes. I made the rental request several weeks ahead of when I needed it so, there couldn't have been a surprise that I was coming to get the thing. U-Haul completely and utterly dropped the ball on this. Wasted hours of my time trying to locate a trailer that should have been ready for me to pick at my local store in just a few minutes. No words for this Mickey Mouse operation. Plus, no "I'm sorry" or discount for the inconvenience. I'm really glad I don't have to rent from this dumb company often. I wished there was an alternative.

I stated to the person at the desk that I was told at the pick-up location I could drop off the truck anywhere in Austin. He gave me a piece of paper with the highlighted phone number to call to see where I could drop off the truck nearest to me. Once I arrived there it was a breeze, but the whole experience before then was a nightmare. I will not use uhaul again for any of my traveling hauling needs.
Candice G.Rented a Cargo Van for 2 hours, everything went great. The next day I got a call from a very upset employee stating I had not returned the van. When I returned their call a woman told me it was a mistake, and it is all squared away. I then found a $240,63 charge to my bank account still waiting to be reversed. So because of an error that has nothing to do with me, my money is in limbo. Very disappointed.

Manager made it right and I re-booked for the next day, but it was frustrating. Manager, or the person I worked with, was very professional and good.

This girl Diana from customer service was extremely rude and did not even want to listen to me and my issue, she was trying to shrug me off with an excuse that it's storage closing hours. No one was available to unlock it for me. I do not understand what was the issue. Na apologize received, no compensation received, everybody acts like this is the best customer service they can provide.

Had to go in the office several times to switch units because she had no clue about the size unit needed. She gave me small units. Went to different employee and ask for a unit that I could fit a large couch , queen bed. 2 TVs , boxes and so on in order for them to have an clear understanding of a unit that is big enough for a 1 bedroom. Then I paid for a dolly and it wasn't in the truck. Had to move all my things without a dolly from upstairs. Worst experience I've ever had at Uhaul.

When moving in a commercial truck was parking in front of many unites, washing out the truck back. H/M was the company. They moved the truck after a short wait but left puddles of water in front of our unit. So, we ended up tracking mud and extra dirt into the unit, needlessly. they should wash their truck elsewhere.

I returned the trailer on Monday morning and had I know that I would be charged $88 for two days I would have made other arrangements to unload on Monday. I also rented a storage unit and when I went to unload the unit had been vandalized so had to wait for a U-Haul person to repair the three walls that had holes in them. So waiting for that cost me extra. Smh.

I did notice a broken board near the ceiling. Looks like I am going to lose at least 50 % of the things that I had stored. Management is great and the facility is easily accessible. Facility is in a good location and is well lit at night. I am a bit disappointed though that there are no dumpsters at the facility.

When I initially rented i couldn't get there with my first load to store while the facility was open (the office), but came back before the secure area closed the unit they assigned me had a lock on it. The next morning the worker was awesome and helped assign a new unit. I work late so, the timing for the secured units was difficult to work with. It would be nice if it were 24 hours, there are cameras to assist so I don't know why this cannot be an option.

NO WHERE on the site did it say I would have to wait 30+ minutes to have the unit made ready upon arrival. NO WHERE when making the reservation for the unit did it show a photo pf the actual unit. I was HIGHLY disappointed. The staff is miserable, unfriendly, and has zero idea on how to staff properly or communicate with customers. From the initial signing of the paperwork and getting the card access thingy to the final call to confirm I had a zero balance and was moved out, this location is subpar. I've been inside the office 6 times total and every time there was a line of customers, no one greeting people, and staff unhappy. Once an employee (with a neon green and blue wig on) was cussing in the store to another employee. Its the closest Uhaul for rentals for our company so we will keep coming back for that... Unless we find another moving truck place but the storage lasted less than a month and we moved it out. It was not good.

Just rented two units and more than likely won't be staying very long due to the access hours. Web site boast 24 hr access but when you get there you find out your restricted to the times you have access to your units.

Mean while I have a truck full off stuff to put in my unit, it's getting dark and I have to deal with a lock on my unit the first day I signed the contract. Not cool, not convenient. The line was frustratingly slow, especially for folks who did everything online and only needed to pickup a key, etc.

When I went to pick up my belongings on the day I was moving to my permanent residence, many of my boxes had gotten wet and there was evidence of rodent droppings as well as insects inside boxes that had gotten wet. I had to come back three times to go through and salvage what I could, transfer to other boxes, spray for insects to ensure I did not transfer to my new home. I ended up throwing out four large trash bags of my things that were in questionable condition. To ensure I was not bringing insects into my new home, I had to place the boxes I did keep and transfer to new boxes, in my garage and use an insect fogger 3 different times until there was no sign of insects. I was a loyal customer but would never use this location to store anything ever again.

I rented a truck online in Austin TX and picked it up in Boca Raton FL, this was all during the Covid-19 Hoax and let me tell you...they were amazing. When I went in to pick up the truck they let me upgrade the size of truck-trailer for free and they gave me and extra 4 days for FREE!!! on top of that they also gave me 30 days storage at their Uhaul Self Storage facility in North Austin. Amazing Customer Service. The best part of the experience was the trailer itself, it hitched on the back of my truck and was smooth sailing the whole trip from Florida thru major storms along the way. I was even able to take the trailer up to 80, 85 and even 95 MPH. Solid.
