I know your policy says there is no reimbursement for gas. But I spent 135$ on gas and there was no way to work with me on my bill to split the cost on the gas

Richard M.I was shifted to 2 different locations to pick up the vehicle on the day and times when I was previously due to pick up this vehicle . The shock absorbers were in very bad shape and it made for an extremely rough 3 day trip, on mostly good roads. Very uncomfortable and annoying. I was concerned about what condition our load would end up being in. It was a good thing that we took extreme care to cushion and secure our load.

Richard R.I am not sure what can be done to improve the experience, I was in a tough spot, I reserved a motorcycle trailer at the Jefferson Rd Uhaul, for 7 am on April 4th, when I got there at 7:45 the doors were still locked, initially I was pretty upset about this, because I had taken the day off to get my motorcycle moved, and I wasn't sure that was going to happen. Fortunately, looked for a UHaul in the area and found the Ajax Rd branch and gave them a call, sure enough they had 2 trailers, so I drove over and got one, they got me out of a jam, and I really appreciate that, not to mention the woman that was working was extremely helpful, and got me on my way very quickly. I really appreciate the customer service that I was given there. Thank you, for helping me out!

It was all coordinated between UHaul headquarters in Mesa, AZ, local Moving Helpers, and us via phone, emails & text. From that point-of-view final delivery and unloading of our household goods went well.

Sean G.I had a very mixed experience with UHaul today. I made my reservation at the Henrietta NY location. When I arrived, I was told that they did not have any furniture dollies available, even though I had reserved it on line. He told me that there was no way to be sure that a dolly was available until arriving onsite. Since I was moving a piano, the rest of the reservation was useless without a furniture dolly. I was told I could check at the Rochester airport site, but the guy at the counter was not even willing to call that site to see if it was available and said that I would have to come back to pick up the truck if I could get the dolly. It is INEXCUSABLE to not have the reserved equipment available. Fortunately, the staff at the airport (aJAX) site were very helpful and set up me up with the truck and the dolly so I could complete my move. The Henrietta site and staff get an F. DO NOT GO THERE. The vehicle was not ready for pickup as promised. The attendant didn't seem to know anything about the arrangement. Considering the cost of the rental for the past 9 months, it was disappointing to receive such poor service. In the past, the service has been excellent, so I will chalk this incident up to a momentary lapse and store my vehicle there again next year..

On one occasion when I came to check on my vehicle, there was a large puddle of water under the front end of the car and the area beyond the front of the car. I have no idea where the water came from or why it was collecting in that particular area. However, the straps for my car cover were encrusted with evaporated salt when I came to check out. I was super disappointed to find out there was potential exposure to salt to my vehicle when I am paying for storage for the sole purpose of avoiding salt corrosion.
