I really appreciate the woman who helped me, though she had to juggle too many jobs at the same time in assisting me and other customers since she was the only employee in the store for a long time. Because of technical issues (there were several glitches with the site--thought there were different glitches between the desktop version [e.g. not recognizing that a Georgia license was not a foreign license] and the mobile version [e.g. location services not working, and I'm pretty sure I did all I could do to fix that on the part of the operating system--I have a degree in computer science]). These caused significant delays in picking up the equipment.

There needs to be a serious customer service intensive provided for the staffers at this location. Topics to discuss should include: 1. How to find a reservation 2. How to speak to customers 3. Minding the details of each reservation 4. When to engage a manager with a customer 5. Professionalism vs Apathy and how they affect job performance This has been the worst U-Haul experience I have ever had. No matter the inconvenience it may cause, I will not be renting from this location ever again.

I will be calling immediately about my experience. I need that 50 dollars reservation guarantee. I had to wait 2 hours for a 10 am pick up. Then I was told that they had been overbooked. Plus they weren't sure that they had any more furniture handtrucks available. It was the worst uhual experience I've ever had. It was disorganized and chaotic to say the least.

When I returned the truck I was told I went 100 miles over then 55 miles agreed upon. My location was 23 miles one way! I had to go 17 miles out of the way just to get the truck. I asked the uhaul worker if he’d ever been to my original location. He said yes. I said so you think that is over 100 miles away? He eventual waived the mileage fee BUT then I got charged for 3 gallons of gas! I filled the truck to the exact point where the needle was when I started out! I didn’t know that uhaul is now in the business or ripping people off! I will never use uhaul again! Someone was dishonest in this transaction and it wasn’t me!!!!!!

I submitted mobile pickup at 6:30 and when I arrived at 6:30, there were no trucks that had been checked in and I had to wait in line in the store for an hour before being able to get my truck. Not only is this against your guarantee for the right equipment at the time, but it also was a huge waste of time and made the idea of the express pick up completely moot.

There was only one employee working on a very busy Wednesday night. A manager was there in the back but never came out to help with the line, which was infuriating. The one employee at the counter was super nice and friendly but had me waiting for a whole hour since I was returning an enclosed 6x12 trailer and it wasn’t going to be a quick transaction. He allowed two people who came in after me to be helped first and they took longer then my actual drop off did. The woman who came in after me picking up a truck took almost 30 minutes! I waited an hour to drop off the trailer, which took less then 10 minutes to do once I was helped! Awful experience. Hopefully the manager finally came out to help because when I finally was helped there were 6 people who were now waiting behind me. Awful customer service. Awful ending to my rental experience.

I got there at 7 am to pick up my truck and the truck I had was double booked. Someone had been given the same truck. Eventually that got figured out. I then went to the key box to get my key and no key was in the box to pick up my truck. I had to call Tim who was the emergency contract and it took him 30 minutes to come down to the Uhaul location and get me my key. I ordered a furniture dolly and there was no furniture dolly in the truck. There was a hand truck and an appliance truck, neither of which i ordered. This showed lack of care and not being thourough with work. Extremely disappointed and will not be using uhaul in the future. We had a deadline and we missed our deadline because we were and hour late getting started on our move.

Arrived at 9:00am. Walked out with keys to me RESERVED vehicle at 12:10pm. Why? One person on site; Sunday. One person to work the desk, issue the vehicle, accept incoming vehicles, etc. This comedic episode has ended my relationship with UHAUL. Never again. To many other providers who actually care about their customers.

We had a 4:30pm reservation and arrived at 4:15pm. It took 1 1/2 hours to get waited on. We didn't leave until 6:15pm. The two employees there were very nice and working very hard. This location was severely understaffed. The computers kept freezing. A manager should have been at the counter helping. Especially since it was the first if the month.

Wait times were insanely long. I had a reservation for pickup at 9am, I didn't get the truck until 11:45am. And that was only because 3 people in line ahead of me left. The line was wrapped around the building. Had to park my personal vehicle across the street in an unattended vacant lot. Did not do any sort of walk around on the truck or trailer, if they had done so they may have saw one of the trailer tires was low preventing the tire from blowing out which it did later that day. I sat in the truck on the side of the highway for 4 hours before it was repaired. Pushing my hired help into overtime, costing me even more than planned. Also, did not have a place to park truck once dropped off after hours. This rental cost me well over $1,000 in time and labor I paid out in addition what I originally budgeted.

They told me the return was all set, then, by luck, I spoke to another guy who said that, no, I wasn't done, that I was on "hold". Had to convince somebody to help check me out. But it was better than the place my contract said I was supposed to return it to, who flat out refused to take the truck, even though that's where my contract said to take it. My UHaul experience was terrible. Different truck than I reserved, at a different location than I reserved, and returned to a different location than the contract said.

This location was very understaffed for the volume of customers it has coming and going. It took me an 1hr and 15min to get my truck which I had reserved the day before via phone. They were so busy they barley had time to check the truck in before handing it off to me and it was dirty on the inside of the cab which I am sure is only due to how overwhelmingly busy they were. The staff was pretty good considering all the frustrated people waiting too long in line. The truck ran fine and we had no issues from it. My recommendation if hire more people.

I made my reservation online weeks in advance of my move date. I received an email two days prior to the date confirming that all was well with my truck. The next morning, I got a call that they didn’t have a truck for me. I spent half an hour on the phone being jerked around by customer service and ultimately had to agree to drive an hour and a half back to return the truck to the original location AFTER moving all day because they overbooked the truck. I of course would be charged for this mileage. I agreed because I needed the truck. I then got another call that evening at 8pm that they had given THAT truck away too. I spent another hour on the phone with a rude, defensive customer service rep in order to get the problem fixed again. They use a tactic where they purposely feed you incorrect information, such as the wrong “preferred pickup” location hoping you won’t correct them so that they can move you 50 minutes across town to a different dealer. They then get defensive when you correct them as if somehow you didn’t click a button choosing your location and then get three separate emails confirming it was the location you actually chose before they pull that play on the phone every time you call them. Anyway, the girl on the phone finally “moved some trucks around” and “confirmed” my truck for the correct location at the correct time as a one-way trip (which was my original booking). The next morning, I showed up to get the truck and could no longer use the 24/7 Rideshare that I signed up for. After waiting in line, there was, of course, no truck for me. She lied on the phone to get off the call since her shift was ending soon. I was able to confirm this with the nice gentleman at the actual store location. He was able to get me into a truck, but I had to do it as in-town and pay the extras mileage to return the truck, plus the extra gas, plus spend an additional 90 minutes on the road after a really hot full day’s work of moving. Will never use Uhaul again.

Unpleasant experience useless effort to "pre-register" on line to save time when we had to go over the same info over the counter. Corporate dictates giving references. I don't give those out. They reply is well thas because weve had our equipment stolen. Really? Do I look like a F*C**NG thief.? When you already have my CC info on file. What kind of moron dictates such rules and then trains their staff to insult customers that way. Equipment for an AT the Right wheel strap was ripped out barely leaving anout 18 inches to ratchet. I know my way arounf this type of equipment. To me not an issue but to a less experienced consumer could be a major problem in regards to safety and property damage, not to mention liability should a catastrophic mishap occur. So if you corporate types are reading this, take note we the customer don't give a rat arse you have the largest fleet or a confy ride. We want to be treated with respect and receive SAFE and clean equipment to go about or own affairs.

Some of the staff at this location are very lazy. The guy at the counter took his time with extra long pauses for no reason. It should not take 20 minutes to check out a U-Haul that was pre-reserved with all of the charge information. His personality was very unenthusiastic. Then when I returned the vehicle there was no one outside to check us in even though the sign said wait here. I went inside to ask why wasn’t anyone outside and i was told that the guy should be out there. Come to find out he was hiding in the back and came out looking confused. There was a line of cars stretching into the highway. This location needs new management.

Please make customers aware when the vehicle does not have a full tank of gas. I drove 7 miles in the van and put $20 in gas into it. " no fuel refunds" So basically UHaul ripped me off for $15.

Mobile check in process became a nightmare but in-store clerk more then made up for it. He made sure the truck i was assigned to was not trapped in(which it was) and promptly changed it to an accessible one. Had this been an out of business pickup I would have never been able to get the truck at all. All stars are for the inside clerk.

I wasn’t briefed about procedures for bringing back rental vehicle after location closing time. However the trainee I was working reservation with was doing great with finalizing process. I had expected to complete trip earlier but I was simultaneously had to switch loaner car to get my serviced car before picking up UHaul truck and move.

This location was my 5th location I visited due to my reservation from the last 4 establishment were closed or no vehicle available I suggest the agent call ahead before sending you somewhere and check and on top of that I was not compensated for the back and forth

After waiting over 30 minutes inside the building behind a long line of customers I was told that a guy in the parking lot could check me in. It would be smart if just one person inside at the customer service desk would just had made an announcement that we returning could do that, I could have been in and out in under 5 minutes. Also found a dead bird by the front door and a condom where I dropped the trailer.

I reserved the truck online since I was in a time crunch. The online process was filled with glitches which wasted time. When I finally checked in after being told I was not at the location, the staff could not find the keys. I will say that the staff outside checking the trucks were very helpful and remained courteous despite my frustration while assuring them it was not aimed at them personally.

This location charged me a fuel service fee and 7 gallons of fuel when I had already re-fueled the truck. I had photos to prove the tank was at the appropriate level when I dropped it off. The location reversed the charge, but they tried to cheat me out of almost $50 and if I had not had the evidence, they might have gotten away with it.

The online check out of the vehicle does not work. I was expecting to avoid the line inside. Your system would not process the credit card and no matter what I had to go inside and stand in line for the key. What the website says you can do about avoiding the line is Not correct The van and the equipment and return were all great.

I was charged a gas service fee when I returned the vehicle and there is NO WAY the level is where the employee states it was returned the vehicle. I put gas in the truck in a location not 1/8 from the drop off site, you can see the uhaul from the gas station i visited. There is NO WAY it was less than 1/4 upon return. I watched as i filled the tank up to ensure there was enough gas and put it so red bar would completely cover the 1/4 of the tank on dash board. Totally unsatisfied and unhappy that in the morning the employee states it is significantly less. NO WAY thats possible!!!!!!!
