There wasn't clear instruction about how to get the access card to enter the storage facility. When I went in the store to get the card no instruction was given, so I had to go back in a second time and then they told me I had to swipe the key card twice on 2 separate panels to gain access.

When loaded my vehicle, I noticed that the fender that rotates to let the driver out was placed behind another metal plate. I had to disassemble the fender to make it work correctly. Other than that it was a great haul.

My gas gauge was at 5/8, not 3/4, as they said, when I started the van. I checked that carefully. And I returned it at 5/8, and yet was charged for 4 gallons of gas after traveling only 20 miles on a short errand! 4 gallons?! That's really chiseling the customer. I had even bought their insurance product to be nice.

I arrived at site, and storage unit was not suitable and easily accessible because there were stairs and no elevator making it difficult to move furniture and mattress. Had to go to Bedford. NH facility to get appropriate storage and return truck. Very frustrating experience given that the storage space was recommended by U-Haul and ended up no be available le upon arrival.

Horrendous customer service!! We were given a quote three weeks ago and reserved it while making our moving plans. Upon pickup on moving day, we were told that it had been entered incorrectly by the Uhaul rep, and we were now being charged an additional 1 200,00 $. They didn't offer to make it right, or honor the original quote in light of their own errors. BEWARE! Never again Uhaul!

Only half of the employees were wearing masks and yes directly talking to customers who were obviously uncomfortable. My equipment I rented that morning was not available. Everyone waiting heard about the errors that had been made that day on orders. And everything was dirty including high touch surfaces.

The truck looked like it hit everything but the lottery. The truck broke down for 4 hours. 11:30 pm to 3:30am. It was 20 degrees out. I could not start the truck to warm it up. My daughter's were so cold and tired.

As paying customers, we shouldn't have to performing the pre-check on the vehicle for issues on our own (using your website), the U-Haul staff should be doing that. If we are doing part of their job, we should be given a discount.

The only problem was that when I got the trailer to my home, I found a box inside that was full of new trailer hitch connectors. I called the UHaul site and had to ask my son to drive to the site and return the box the next day. Otherwise, the trailer itself worked great and the personnel were fine.

the truck you gave us was below par - we filled it with gas and then drove it and realized it would not be capable of getting to our destination. We brought it back and were given a new one also empty of gas but got no refund for the gas we put in the first truck. If we had received a refund we would have felt better.

I want to preface with the fact that I also work in the service industry and I do know it sucks to wear a mask eight hours a day. But I was very disheartened to see none of the staff masked properly when I walked in, and only the staff member who helped me pulled hers above her nose. I know they're uncomfortable, but if we don't all consistently wear them properly, we're never going to get to take them off.

The only "issue" I noticed is that the license plate light was dismounted from the body of the trailer. Otherwise everything went smoothly.

I'm not actually rating this LOCATION as poor. there's nothing wrong with the location at S. Willow st. But you didn't ask about the overall rental experience- which was very poor, as usual. The problem is your online reservation system. I rented a truck at a location that's a mile or 2 from my home. The night before I get a message that I need to pick my truck up at a different location that's over 30 minutes from my home. (This happened last time I reserved a Uhaul too by the way). So, this last-minute change set me back well over an HOUR (more like an hour and half for the whole process), which screwed up the whole day, and led to a chain of events that made me unable to return the truck at the original time. This meant I was charged an exorbitant amount because I had to bring the truck back the next morning. First of all, it was not MY fault that I had to start the process later because your stupid online reservations system screwed me over. Second, I was apparently charged over 60 $to bring the truck back the next day by noon. If the rental rate is 19,95 $/day, and I added NO extra miles on it, then why did I get charged 3 days worth of rental fee for LESS THAN one more day?? You guys really need to straighten out your reservation system.Also when I tried contacting someone for help with this in the evening, I was on hold forever and finally gave up. Then I contacted the chat and had to keep prompting to get someone to answer me. Then the guy who answered was rude. So, customer service needs work too.

Back in 2009 I rented a large truck from. Uhaul in Tilton, NH. and the UHaul Staff was Excellent. In 2018 I rented a storage unit from UHaul in Concord, NH and they were also excellent. Today Thursday October 15, 2020 I rented a storage unit from Arielle Vargas at your Manchester NH. Branch. Just when I thought the Customer Service at UHaul couldn't get any better Arielle and all the Employees at UHaul in Manchester NH. proved me wrong. We needed to upgrade our storage room to a larger one, we had to walk around the place 5x and wait like 10 additional minutes to find someone to help us. Then, not her fault, but she was new and did not know anything. They saw us pull in with the 27foot truck, we told them it was completely full, and the room that we were upgraded to did not even fit our stuff. we had to bring more stuff back to where we are staying, which is definately not the point of having a storage unit. I cannot even walk in there, so there is NO way of me finding anything ever until we move it all out. They should be knowledgeable of what size rooms will fit the trucks that people pull in with. If they knew they did not have a unit large enough to accommodate, I would expect them to get on the phone with a different uhaul in manchester or close by and find one that would be sufficient. If that is not possible, youre better off letting the customer know that rather than having an unhappy customer, because now my finace said he will never use uhaul again. and i really am not happy that i cannot go there to look for stuff when i want it. just saying- not completely her fault, she was new, but she should not have been left in that situation, there should have been someone knowledgeable with her until she was sufficiently trained.

Sliding the card as one leaves takes some getting used to, but I eventually did. It also helps that you can go back hours later when you remember and slide it then LOL. Also, yesterday. I received a final auto pay reminder for July after I checked out of the unit last week. I know it's probably because the two systems aren't linked, but it still could be slightly worrisome to some people. However, a terrific experience overall, especially with the first free month after my move here from Texas and with the ability to get settled into my apartment more gradually and in an organized way. Finally, I get a lot of these kinds of auto-surveys including one for recent service to my Hyundai, and this was the easiest one to use. Too many of these things are attached to some kind of Google or social-media thing that my phone doesn't like. Merci.

Our storage unit c-7 was blocked by trucks multipletimes could access and our items had water damage to all of our property destroying our stuff they are terrible never get U-Haul storage !!!!!!!!
