Entreprise détenue et exploitée par la famille. Most, or all, employees are family/ffriends of the owner. This owner's fleet consists of late model vehicles, he and his employees keep them maintained in good working order. Excellent location with friendly, well trained staff, and reliable equipment.

Borlande R.I think this may be par for the course but I filled half way on a flat surface and when I dropped the unit off on South Federal in Denver no one was around, but they have an incline in their drive that just so happens to make the half tank look less. I am sure they are padding themselves well.. I took pics minutes before I dropped it off. Because I know how some of these folks work. That costed me an extra 16.50..

Cherish B.Was charged 140 for the rental. Initially I believed I had the rental for 24 hours because I was charged 72.00. I decided to check the rental agreement and realized this was for 4 hours. So I extended and was charged an additional 48 . I returned the rental 30 minutes late because I was caught in traffic however I contacted the location and told that it was not a problem. Not one time was it ever mentioned that I'd be charged an additional amount. I even returned it with more fuel to make up for the additional time. This is the second time I've been double charged by uhual. It's sad because I will never use nor recommend this to anyone rather I will recommend people to check out another company where it's 89 for a full day with 100 miles included. Sad to say but that's far better than the over 250. I was charged for my first rental in March and over 140 this time it's a complete scam especially when you advertise this truck for 19,99 false advertising, didn't realize uhual operated under such unethical/dishonest practices. I won't make the same mistake a third time you can rest assured.
Sara R.Schedule a pick up for 10 AM in person at this location and was told OK requested a 20 was totaled OK at this location at when I got a text they did not have a 10 AM available and they do not have a 20 available. Why was I not told that at that store when I was in there also rented a dolly was said was sure went to pick up truck not clean no Dolly not a 20 26 was too big I had to pack loose load out stuff got broken. Clerk at desk had to go in fresh like I hadn't even had a reservation because the site kept messing up. She helped and made certain to get the discounts I had printed out but it was a waste of time; especially for people who were waiting in line behind me. Not the fault of the personnel at the site.

Brian W.1 they originally scheduled us to pick up the truck at the wrong location, so we had to cancel the original reservation.2 They didn't give us the right truck, so all of our paperwork was wrong, 3 they over charged us for the rental, 4 they randomly changed out drop off location back to Denver even though we said drop off was in the springs. 5 we didn't feel safe dropping off the rental truck, it was after hours and the drop off location had several homeless people hanging around and checking out the trucks.6 they just randomly charged us $40 and did not give any reason.

My initial reservation was cancelled but I was not notified by anyone, only until I was pulling up did I see it was cancelled, They sent me to a second location but they only had out-off-state one-way trucks. They sent me to a third place, where I had actual good service. It's like each location is more than willing to push the problem away from themselves and screw over the other locations. I most likely will never use uhaul after this cruddy experience

After we dropped off truck at 11:30 ish pm - tried to complete after hours return - program did not let me complete return because I did not know I needed to take pictures and upload them - forgot phone at home. Had dropped keys in overnight box. Called UHAUL to notify - was drop off. Then I was charged a SCAM FEE $20 for checking in - For that I should have waited to dropped off in morning!! SCAMMED - FEE $20 to check in truck and overcharged 10 miles fee!!
JP S.Had to drive to 3 different uhaul locations till they had an available truck which forced us to push our move out time back with my apartment, which then overlapped with another mover. The dolly equipment I ordered and needed for the move was unavailable and I was charged almost 3x what I was originally quoted. Will not be using Uhaul's service again and wouldn't recommend anyone else use their service unless you want to make your move even more stressful.

JOHN P.Engage customers more, they barely spoke. My truck was not ready. It was missing the dolly, which I had to turn around to get. No one bothered to apologize for the inconvenience. The female that assisted me was pleasant, but not friendly. The truck was not in good shape mechanically, the check engine light was on the entire time, as well as the hitch tow light, which I turned off literally every single time I started the truck. One of the front headlights kept going off and on. Last, but not least, the mileage is way off because when I had to turn around to get the dolly, it counted 2 miles and that was not even a mile total, let alone 2 - I believe I was overcharged for my mileage because of this - I was charged for 74 miles but I truly believe that's inaccurate. It's more like 37 miles. I will never rent a truck from the location again. The Lakewood location is 100 times better, all the way around.
Danelle B.The cab was dirty, and the transmission was slipping between 2nd and 3rd gear. But there are honest people their my step son left his wallet and phone in the truck. They called me about 30 min after I dropped it off. They returned it with no money missing. Just the fact they called. They didnt have to. That to me is worth a return visit if I need a U-Haul in the future and I would definitely recommend them to my friends and family.

Jacob H.Water was leaking into my unit and when I brought it up to staff I was told they would get it fixed. I understand that roof leaks are hard to rectify and the damages to my belongings was not ultimately permanent due to the use of tarps and drop plastics. There was no urgency from staff to have me move into another unit without leaks.

I reserved what I thought was a first floor unit because it stated that's what it was in the description… come to find out at check in the guy said, "the unit is actually on the second floor and we don't have an elevator so your just going to have to carry it". Then the guy proceeded to upsale me on a larger first floor unit that was double the price. What a terrible way to do business - you guys should be ashamed. Fix the descriptions and stop ripping people off.

Since that time I've been provided very good service by everyone I have needed to speak with. Also I have peace of mind with the items being stored in the temperature controlled lockers.

We were able to rent a truck and find available storage for our things last minute. Luckily we needed to store our things for 3 days due to us finding our own place. I hadnt had a chance to let uhual know we moved our things out, but they called us and asked if we still needed storage. Overall it was quick and sufficient. Have never had an issue with uhaul.

benjamin d. | Expérience généraleMy friend has 2 little ones, is on her own and had to move. She had her hands full and no help. I felt the need to help so when she asked if I had a D.L. I said sure, the least I could do right? Well we rented a van from uhaul, took it home and loaded it, it sat for 3 days why idk but I was getting nervous. I didn't want her to have to pay for it sitting any longer and when 3 in the afternoon rolled around, I took the van back to uhaul and turned it in. She was livid! All baby stuff they needed. Hope next time she stays on task. Of course uhaul didn't want to take it back with a load, but not alot of options for either of us. It was a nightmare. $200 cleaning fee, storage, truck refill... I thought I cant afford any of it. The next day a friend paid the fee of $90,54 to uhaul so my friend could get her things. I tell ya i was besides myself with the whole thing, but the ppl at uhaul understood what was happening and cancelled all the fees and just charged us for maintenance and refuel. I may have red flagged myself from renting there, but I am very happy with uhaul. Smh... :)
