When I picked up the 10-in truck I asked about a promotion that said $50 if my reservation wasn't there and I had reserved a 9-in cargo van however my question was lost over and then when I returned the tenant the 10-ft truck hose way Josue was very rude he tried to charge me $97 Miles when the odometer said 11290 when I started said 119 or 111306 when I got back obviously that's not 97 MI when I brought this to his attention he would say whatever you say or just not his head when I told him how rude he was being he said whatever you say it was an awful experience not because of the vehicle even though I wanted the 9-ft cargo van and then there was the $50 promotion if that wasn't there and it wasn't there I got a 10 ft truck for the same price but that's not what I wanted and I don't know the people were just rude they didn't care they they didn't listen to my question and then he acted like I was lying when I went and whopping 16 or 17 miles I have never received my final receipt to know how much my card is going to be charged he told me 3785 I hope that'll be right

Poor Customer Service!!!!!! The manager did not honor his word and charged me for another day. The lady had no knowledge of the equipment that was rented. There was a guy sitting at the counter that was texting as I walked up for assistance and NEVER looked up. I had to go to the lady's counter. TRASH !!!!

The drop off location at 5200 State Ave in Kansas City needs to improve their communication. Dropped the trailer off early but they never completed the transaction stating the trailer was returned. I tried calling several times with no success, finally had to physically drive back to that location to complete the process. Quite a pain in the ass honestly.

I should be able to be anywhere on location to use the app for the rental. I got through some of the app check out process and then had to go inside. ALSO, when I went inside to rent the vehicle, there wasn't one ready for me yet, and I was there in my reservation window.

One of the young guys was training the other. He was patient and let the newer guy do all the steps, even though it was right before close of business. I rarely leave reviews. I was really impressed. I manage a business myself and hope my experienced staff train and interact, as these two guys did.

i asked a question and the associate said yes you can. On the equipment found a sticker saying no don't do. If i would have not found the sticker saying no i would have done damage to my item and to the rental item. I feel the associate needs more knowledge of the equipment and know the limits of the equipment that is being rented out to the customer. other then that issue all the workers was very friendly and treated me good. overall i was very pleased with my interaction with uhaul

The store looked deserted when we arrived. As we approached the counter, we heard a faint voice. The employee remained seated during our transaction. He was polite but didn't go out of his way to make us feel welcomed. He handed us the keys and pointed us toward our rental. He had pointed us in the wrong direction. We found our rental in another row. Not the row he had directed us to. I thought her should have been more emgaging with as his customers.

Have the equipment cleaned before renting. If you already charged the previous customer for cleaning the equipment, why rent it out still dirty, and then try to charge me for cleaning too? Let people know that they will need additional information, such as their apartment rental agreement or employment contact, or an additional contact with someone else, before arriving to pick up the equipment. Allow the ability to submit the apartment rental contract in electronic format. Your app requires a new photo of a printed contract. There was no option to access an existing digital document already on my phone. If asking a worker for help with the app, don't have them create a new rental agreement and try to charge me twice for one rental, even after showing the worker that my bank account has already been charged. They still asked for my payment details. When asking for the supervisor, it would be nice to speak with the supervisor, instead of being told that the supervisor is somewhere else and won't be able to help you.

The battery died while I was filling it up with gas, it took like an hour for the tow company to assist us (no big deal) but he pointed out that the battery seems like someone was trying to unplugged it.

The truck I had reserved was not available. So, used a smaller truck which was fine. But truck had snow and ice packed on the front windshield and was not ready to go…this was picked up before store hours. I did receive $50 credit for not having the correct vehicle ready and this helped get me feeling better about the rental experience

First location didn't have my equipment ready. Second location key box was locked frozen and I had to keep budging it open in -3 degree weather. On top of that, the van wasn't filed with gas all the way and I was still charged 22 dollars for gas I still put in

Hire professional staff and train them. One staff member branded two weapons at me and my father and called me a weirdo and made the entire experience extremely hostile. Started with me not hearing the associate asking for another persons contact info. I repeated mine and the associate got an attitude. I asked if there was an issue then his attitude went from 0-100 real fast.

The truck was clean and worked well for what we needed it for. The check engine light was on. We were unable to move the driver's seat forward. I am only 5' tall and had to stretch to reach the petals. I also had difficulty getting into the cab. Perhaps a pull out extra step could be attached to the step on the driver's side to make entering the cab easier.

Arrived at the location and reserved unit was not available and had a lock on it. The manager Gabriel never told me it was his fault and gave me 2 options. To either pay more a month for a larger available unit or choose the non climate control unit. He said he could not give the larger unit for same prize. I was paying professional movers by the hour. It took over 30 minutes to get assigned a new unit. This whole process had me in tears and feeling completely helpless as I had no recourse although I did everything right.

My experience was good up until yesterday when $134 was taken of my account to pay for a storage unit I cleared out Oct 3 between 3:30p.m til 4:00p.m and now I have received this email saying you are sorry to see me go but I still have not received my money back in my account make it make sense and I have yet to receive an call from the manager 🙃

Staff was very helpful as long as I could find the staff. One set of doors to enter the main building was never open, I always had to walk around to the other side and then hunt someone down to help me if I needed anything. The site was secure, which is great considering the area it is in. I do wish each unit had a light in it, but that's probably not feasible. Overall it was a good experience!

When I cleaned out the storage unit, I talked to a manager who said he would have someone clean out anything that I had left. I received an email with a charge for the unit cleaning. I don't mind being charged, but he did not tell me there would be a charge, also I was charged for the following month even after I cleaned out the unit. I'm waiting for someone to contact me to provide a refund.

Alls well your staff were very helpful and courteous ... I'm dealing with a brain injury.. and I had to continuously go back and forth between my storage unit and the front office... they were all super courteous... articulated with me in a way that I didn't feel comfortable.. Bathrooms need serious, consistent cleaning + restocking. Non-climate controlled areas need to be cleaned. People often left trash in the "donation" area. It stunk quite badly in the warmer months.

We were directed to a different facility at first. That facility was not very helpful. I was treated as a customer number, they were more worried about the other people in line than me. I moved from IL to MO. Though having storage in KS isn't ideal, the customer service was outstanding! Clean facility too.

Manager was rude. Found roaches in the bathroom and asked what happened if my belongings got roaches and he said too bad. It was my problem to deal with. If I'm paying to store my belonging, I shouldn't have to worry about taking roaches home with me.

I will recommend that people are aware that there is no elevator for the second floor or ramp before they are booked for a second-floor storage anyone that is taking reservations for storage said make sure that they inform customers about the inconvenience of carrying their things to a second floor level Thank you Phyllis Jordan

I think we messed up the convenience of the online check-in process by seeking guidance from the staff instead of attempting to just access the facility on our own. Rather than just walking us through the info we received online, it was as if they started the check-in process all over but did not tell us they changed our access info, etc and they charged us for another lock but we found one in the unit when we got to the unit. Small inconveniences of having to make multiple trips back to the office to figure out why we couldn't get in. In the end it all worked out fine, just not the most helpful (knowledgeable??) staff. Nice facility, less impressed with the staff. Just seemed to go through the motions rather than really listen to customer and assist appropriately. Even inquired about dropping our rental truck there instead of returning to STL area but was basically discouraged from doing so for reasons that felt more like because the staff didn't want to deal with it, than for legitimate reasons. This may be an inaccurate impression, so I don't want to be too negative about our experience with staff. Overall I would recommend the facility to others.

Uhaul was willing to work with us and allowed us to use an old office that had been converted into a storage unit. The draw back was that our unit was located inside the store area and we could not access it after 7. When we moved out of unit it became very apparent that no big extermination had been done. We paid for a climate control area which I assumed would mean minimal bug inhabitation but I was wrong! Ants and beetles covered the floor under our things. Thankfully beds were up high and showed no sign of bugs.

Because when turn in the truck we put gas back in it and told the worker he check it and still bill me for gas I got the gas across the street from lowes so how yall going charge me for gas if I put it back in there that's a crook move ok

My only concern were the bugs, which I understand can be brought in by customers. I saw a few in my storage unit and the hallway. Other than that I was very pleased with my service. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. A special mention for Debbie, she made a very stressful situation actually enjoyable. Merci.

Robert chambers was always so nice and friendly when I would come in there. Very helpful. Only downside is the stairs to the upper storage lockers. Very difficult when taking items to locker and to car. Almost fell a couple times. Need ramps or life to get upstairs when you are carrying items.

The entire staff there on State Ave. were courteous and helpful to all customers and they had a handle on any situation for the customers needs. Any information about what type of storage was available was answered and all equipment for rental was maintained adequately, plus any propane tank that needed to be refilled for the customers needs were equatable and promptly executed for the customers convince. I'm a DAV and my hat is off to the service granted to me for the entire time of nearly five years that I needed their assistance. May everybody and their families be richly blessed. Our 24 hour access card stopped working while moving things from the truck to the storage. It was 12 at night. When emergency # didn't answer the 800 # rep got card reactivated so we could finish.

Interaction with the staff was wonderful. What was difficult was trying to close out the contract. Kept getting rolled over to 800 number which couldn't do anything and chat support was awful.
