John WWith all the issues I have had with uhaul I wouldn't recommend starting with Taft road manager trying to deny me under discrimination act being female with a perfect driving record and additionally him changing all my information in the system under a quick discussion of where I was using the U-Haul pick up on the second contract after moving truck and additionally compromised my info and did t deleted the other memeber account he put all my info under allowing this memebers to access my name! And my info and additionally didn't get fired for it now I am having issues with something that's not even a thing causing me to be held up from using any U-Haul service further more while going through a dispute with Sheila on this matter trying to get a written statement clearing my name to be okay to use further uhaul services in future because of a huge mishap he entered in system at pick up truck rented drop off causing outrageous charges owed that aren't accurate additional the contract provided via email at the time of Silverado U-Haul pick up doesn't match the written edited copy I was given luckily I scan a copy of EVERYTHING INTO MY PHONE IN TURBO SCAN ELECTRONIC FILLING SYSTEM TO PROTECT MY SELF AND HAVE FORM OF PROOF REGARDLESS OF WHAT THEY "provide me via on a behalf of their system generated email" they need to not do this because this last renting contract they emailed me what their system had but handed me a paper copy They has physically edited and marked up with a pen on their behalf and this DOES NOT MATCH what their computer has" trying to leave me responsible for someone else that messed up on their end or customer end to try and get more money from me on someone else's money owed to cover their own asses- lucky for me my dad raised me right and I'm a smart girl nice try though! And as a reminder this is a EAST TAFT ROAD LOCATION ISSUE not Teal Ave my service ended up at teal ave with moving truck due to east Taft road manager mess up!!!!! Rediculous! Not ethical not efficient and certainly out of my way! Not professional and certainly not acceptable especially now that I'm trying to be blamed and left at fault For someone else- again nice try I also know how to address this with further authorities if need be that's getting close because I'm now have my name being held lingering wrong person to take for granted and assume I'm not smart or won't take this further up or matter seriously. Unacceptable!

Mustafa SChecking the vehicle back in afterhours was a nightmare. I couldn't just use the QR code to fill out the survey, oh no, I had to download and install it. And even then, it wouldn't pull out a survey - but a home page, and not one of the options was for a vehicle check in. You clearly want people to be forced to pay your $20 check in fee. I won't be using UHaul again, and will let my friends know to avoid you as well.

Marie Bwhen picking up the trailer the customer service was excellent. one of the tie down straps that were included was broken, thankfully we had one to use. But I'm rating above average because of the interactions with the employee.
Erika AStaff and experience were fine. I was concerned as the trailer itself looked like it was missing a piece or two on the hitch attachment. When I left the parking lot, the rear doors had not been latched and they flew open as I drove away. Someone on the road caught it and let me know and the store called me about a minute later to tell me.

Spoke with UHaul representative when I returned and showed them pictures of the mess. They conveyed their frustration that the truck was not clean and promised to address it with the personnel in charge of cleaning the truck.

I tried this location again yesterday because it was a good fit for what I was doing. This experience was very positive. Every employee was fully engaged with both the customer and the tasks at hand. I will definitely go back.

Gene VI reserved it in advance with a utility dolly, got a confirmation call a couple of days before that the 20' truck I requested wasn't available, so I got a free upgrade to a 26' (that was fine). The issue I have is that I showed up to get the truck and was told the dolly wasn't available but I could drive to another location to get one. I reserved this in advance because I had to use this truck on a tight schedule for moving, and to not even receive a notice that a dolly wasn't available until I showed up is unacceptable. It made the move so much harder because I had a schedule to keep and everything had to be moved by hand. Why couldn't they have the other location run a dolly to them in advance of my arrival?

She she be commended for saving a customer and she Saud she did not want to lose our business. That is customer service!! We will continue to use this location, as well as my family and freinds because she showed we were not a number, but she did what she had to do to keep us happy! I should have gotten her name, but her whole staff seemed like they really enjoy working there and it shows. It was a pleasant experience and I highly recommend this location!thank you ladies!
anthony j | Expérience généraleNot well managed. First signed contract for "climate control" upon move in discovered a/c was not in working condition due to theft. I should have been told this PRIOR to signing contract. I had to call back to continue to check to see if a/c was restored many weeks after move in. This was resolved with only a $50 discount. Upon move out there were not any dollys nor carts available, again, due to theft, as I was told. This place collects enough funds and insurance from customers to replace stolen necessities as needed. They have 2 young ladies running the place at peak seasons. More help should be available to support customers in a more professional manner during extremely busy times. My decision to lease at this location is pending for next May if things don't improve.

I have had several serious complications from COVID-19 and have been in and out of the hospital so I have only worked 4 months out of 2 1/2 years and now I find out that you only $10 for my washer and dryer that was only used for 2 months and for whatever else I had in there. If I had a closer location somewhere else I would have used them. I am very disappointed with the atmosphere and the services received at this location. This needs to be fixed or customers are going to look elsewhere for better service.

The first person cancelled my reservation when they weren't supposed to, the second just disconnected the chat, and the third said that there was nothing they could do to fix the mistake of the first person. Well they could not find my reservation but the uboxes were outside but not in front of the building so I had to wait for them to call someone who was not working that day to come in. They wanted me to cancel and do it on Sunday but I went thru alot to find people to help me so I don't know why my payment is $234+ plus. I had to make 3 separate trips back to the storage office to try to get access to the facility the 1st time. Thats the only complaint that I have for this location. Otherwise it was perfect.
JERRY R | Expérience généraleWhile the actual storage unit was excellent, the customer service and overall experience with Uhaul made our move more difficult. Both for our truck rental and storage unit, reservations (made months prior) were "not found" upon our arrival. The uhaul pickup was 40 minutes away from our apartment (because they didn't have our truck at the original location which was inconvenient to begin with) and the tank was 1/4 full so we had to fill up before we could even get home. The storage place took over 45 minutes to "check in" and required THREE phone numbers and TWO addresses to even access. How do you have 2 addresses if you are moving? Overall we were not satisfied with our service with Uhaul and will be looking for different options next time.

daniel l | Expérience généraleEverything was great. However, when we arrived at the storage facility, we found the sliding, electronic doors wide open. (Storage users are supposed to use their swipe cards to gain access). The doors remained that way for the duration of the move into our rental space. The building was completely unsecured during this time. I called the front desk to notify them & they said they'd fix the problem. However, the front desk should receive an immediate alarm notification if the doors are open for an unreasonable amount of time or malfunctioning. Otherwise, you are exposing your renters & their belongings to safety hazards.
