This location should have 2 sales rep minimum to cover the weekend hours. There was only one person and the line and wait were very long. Otherwise, great customer service from the sales rep and very knowledgeable and helpful.

The front entryway into the building has many tall displays and the front counter is obscured. Created a sense of confusion if we came in the correct door. This could be for security so that people can't make a bee-line to desk or something, but a sign saying that we were in the right place might help people feel more at ease. Staff was very positive and friendly! Van we rented was clean and we were in and out with efficiency while feeling like we could ask anything else we might need.

The self checking app dint specify that I needed an driver license and a passport! Also, the gas has been siphoned out of the trucks we had to fill up a gas can to get it started

The location was cramped and there were cars parked in the drive ways which made it difficult to enter safely as they blocked view for the truck.

The only suggestion I have is that often when I have come into the store to buy something, no one is at the counter to help, and usually other customers are there wondering if anyone is going to ring us up. I usually explain that there's only one person working, and he is likely out helping someone with propane. If you can have a sign letting the indoor customers know that someone will be back soon, it would help out a lot. Thanks - staff is very helpful and knowledgeable.

The truck I rented didn't have any gas in it,, and I needed to put 3-gallons of gas to travel less than 10-miles!

The up-selling on the website process needs to stop. I declined accident insurance at least 3 times, only for it to somehow show back up on my reservation and needing to be taken off by an employee. Having to decline add-ons over and over again is infuriating! But the employees of the location I went to were great and helpful. Great overall, I just wish your system was less pushy!

Please be better at enforcing indoor mask requirement. The couple in line ahead of us was not wearing masks, and nobody said anything to them. All employees were masked, though, so that was a bit reassuring.

My only suspicion of this place was gas siphoning as the gas cap on the truck I rented was off and the fuel level was below what the uhaul website said it was so I needed to upload picture of website.

The truck that I rented was not pulled out for me and there was no gas in the truck at all even though the computer showed something different

I've used a cargo van for 1 day. During pickup it was low pressure light on. I was told by u-haul employee that it is ok and sensor is not working. I didn't argue because I scheduled move-in and didn't have time to argue. At home I checked car sticker and actual pressure. It was 40 PSI while minimum 55 is requred for front wheels. So finally I waste time and money by going to Costco to pump tires. I think it should be done at u-haul location.

Everything was great, but the only mishap or problem was I purchased a King Size Mattress Cover and it seemed to be packaged with a Full Size Mattress Cover because it was too small. It was incredibly inconvenient because it forced me to go to another location to purchase another one. I would love to get a refund!!

The U-Haul Staff was very professional. The original rental was for 12:30PM you changed the pick up time to 2:30PM (not my choice) Rental was not available at 2:30PM, so I had to wait until 4 PM. Store closed at 5PM so I had to bring the rental back the next morning. Very very inconvenient and a waste of my time and buyers time.

Some of the trailers were out of commission and I couldn't upgrade due to there being lights out or wires cut. But the employees were great and excellent service even though they were slammed on a Saturday they never showed it.

I was in and out in 3+ hours for a local move. Everything went well and worked smoothly. Using online services to get most of it done helped make it efficient since the onsite staff are trying to be everywhere at once. I thinkit should be made more clear that the low end moving blankets (packed in plastic) are rented and must be returned or be charged 5 x the cost (i.e $5 to rent 6 blankets....$7,35x6 if you keep them because you thought you purchased them). I instinctively left them folded in the truck but almost kept them with the furniture in storage.

I was extremely disappointed and concerned that the two employees I interacted directly with did not wear a mask indoors. I had my daughter with me and she's only partially vaccinated. I give a partial okay on the cleaning. Someone left their sweater in the cab, and there were fries underneath the seat.

Do not hire Moving Help of U-Haul. They are fraud. They do not show up, do not provide services and do not refund money. I hired Moving help to unload U-Haul truck. They did not show up. When I called them, they told me to cancel the services. I had to hire another moving services. Had to take another day off. Paid premium for emergency services. Paid one addition day rent of the U-Haul truck. Moving Help will not refund my money. They told me to contact the movers. Movers told me that Moving Help did not pay them money. Moving help gave me a code to give movers when service is completed. Movers did not show up and I did not give them code. Without code they are not paid.

Better visibility of customer service stations while waiting in line. Most of the associates seem friendly and personally invested. One of them, however, could be more mindful of respect when addressing customers outside regarding the rules for traffic flow and parking.

Complete disaster, didn't have my scheduled vehicle, no appliance dolly and had to change appointments times because they didn't have anything ready. I had to drive to another location to pickup equipment, lucky the manager gavee a discount or I would've been really pissed.

For me the dome light inside the truck was on the whole time that I had the truck. they also did not take the time to walk around the truck and make sure they was not prior damage from the previous driver?

When the phone line was busy it got transferred to another operator. Theyy ya introduced themselves but DID NOT say they were in another location. I wanted a siimple question asked, “do you have a moto trailer available”? They could not say at the time and instead I had to remain on the line As they asked information about me,name address time for pick up etc. I was on phone for several mins just wanting to know if they had a trailer available before I gave up anymore info! Then they asked for my cc number -over the phone! I told them I did NOT feel comfortable doing that. Then after finally about 10 mins they finally mentioned they were not in the area and could not say if a trailer was available or not. Imagine being on the phone for the long simply waiting for a yes or no question then having to give your info and then being asked cc info to siimply see if a trailer was available! Please fix this!

The location is convenient in San Jose but the truck didn't have additional equipment rented inside, nor were we told to grab it before leaving store or to check the inside of the cargo area before leaving lot. Once home, there were items from a homeless person in the back of the truck that were quite disgusting and needed to be disposed of by me. Then I did not have the rented dolly or blankets but had someone else's crap left behind and had to make another trip back to the store to pick up the additional items which wasted a lot of time. A little mention of grabbing extra equipment & having employee, customer do a quick check in the back of the cargo area before departure would've been really nice & helpful.
