The most rude and unprofessional staff I have ever e8. I have never been to an establishment where employees were so out of line. It stinks that these people seem to not like their jobs, but don't take it out on the customer...honestly this location need a makeover with employees or to be completely shut down. Drop-off was very quick once I got into the parking lot. I had to wait on the busy street with flashers on until they could clear room for me and the rented trailer. Once in lot, I was on my way in less than 5 minutes.MICHAELA M.

I was charged for 2 gallons of gas, but left the level as i received it. They had no way to address my serious concerns, directing me to leave it in a review. This seems insufficient for the seriousness of this vehicle's problems. I feel fortunate to have made the whole trip with out injury. Due to the shaking and suspesion issues, the trip took much longer, as I had to stay below the speed limit, sometimes significanly below, making me a danger on the road.Laura B.

The location was really far from my house....it definitely wasn't the closest location to me. They had way too many trucks, the parking lot was tough to get in and out of.SHERRY H.
I was called twice to ask if I could bring the uhaul truck back early for another customer traveling to Colorado. I brought it in around 1030 after working to finish up as fast as possible. I asked if, in return, they could help a bit with the extra miles that I went over on my trip but they referred me to call uhaul on the phoneâ€¦this had a 45 min wait and no answer to my question. I was assisted by one of the employees and she was great even helping guest that others were getting frustrated with. Thats the extent of my good comments. The 26' truck I got was extremely loud and unstable. This was an older truck that hadnt had much work done to it including the fact that it needs and alignment and power steering fluid. I was completely unsatisfied for the amount of money I paid and invested. I left the tank with more than i got with. Also after i dropped off the uhaul i noticed i didnt have my keys when i went back to uhaul maybe 30 mins later because that's where my locator app took me to for my keys. The 2 guys inside said that they hadnt seen any keys, however right before they closed the app showed me.that there was movement. One of the guys was asking me was my.address and other things correct and what my work schedule was.Giovonnte B.

For the price that it cost me to store my items in the storage it wasn't really well kept. I had over 500 $in damaged items. There was nice that got into the unit and ate threw my brand new mattresses and urinated on them. They ate kids clothes toys electronics and even toiletries like powder and soaps. I didn't think that having everything packaged in plastics and boxed down would still cause so much damage. I had this unit from July 2019 to Jun 2021 and the price went up and the maintenance went down. This was an awful experience and u-haul must do better. I still have went through everything as of yet but I know there may be more damaged items bsce some boxes are covered in rat feces and urine. When I came to collect the vehicle dealing clark was talking on phone. In the entire process she was on phone and working for me. This is not acceptable for any company. I drove just 6 mile total and they charged me 2 gallon gas price. Their behavior was also not good.Udai S.

The truck I received was clearly in need of repairs/maintenance. The brakes were very weak and the rear cargo door was nearly impossible to close. For safety reasons, I would not rent this truck to anyone else until the issues are fixed. Thankfully I was not injured.BENJAMIN S.

I went into work early (7:00am) to get off early and scheduled the pick up on a Holiday weekend Friday 4pm. I got my uhaul immediately and everyone was professional and welcoming. It was a breeze. Very impressed with the whole thing and couldn't be any happier. I feel like the employees should be 100 % be compensated for customer experience. Well done and keep it up. I was disappointed to find out that turning the vehicle in one day early did not warrant a credit of any kind. Basically you have people over a barrel with no way around it. Even rental car agencies credit customers when a vehicle is returned early. Give that some thought please. I spent close to 1 500 $for the vehicle, insurance, accessories not to mention 265 $in fuel. Horrendous customer service. Put me in a very sad mood the entire day. I felt completely mistreated as a customer. Vehicle originally reserved was unavailable. I was blamed for vehicle being unavailable. No apologies offered. I would like my 50 $credit for inconvenience.Marisa N.
The phone version of picking up the van didn't work at all. We have to rent a van every few months and because of covid I opted for the phone version. Did everything right. Van was there. But the online operator wouldn't verify my rental after several tries. So I had to go into the store and wait in line. Then They had to remove my phone version to be able to check me out. The folks inside the store are great and fast, but this process was worthless. I've already started looking for options for two months from now. Plus the van was full of crud in the cab. Come on Uhaul. Lazy, inefficient, and shoddy work.MICHAEL D.

Not sure who's end was at fault, your reservations department or the store, but I'm just glad I got a truck for a portion of the day. I was scheduled to pick up a truck at 2pm. When I get there, they say it's for 3:45pm. I never once got any update on a reschedule. They only had 1 dolly (I requested 2) and no mattress bags (I requested 1). Luckily the gentlemen helping me had a spare personal dolly and offered to throw it in at no cost. While I was there, multiple people had issues including someone who got so far as to put a reservation on my truck that I ordered days ago. Of course they had to cancel that person's order as mine preceded theirs. All of this to say, WHAT A NIGHTMARE!! After speaking with a representative over the phone, the best they could do to discount this ridiculous adventure was some voucher (never gave me a total) that I could use maybe today. How does that help me in the now? Your customer service needs improvement.BLAIR D.
I ordered 2 dolly's for my truck days prior from my pick up date but upon arrival I was told dolly's sold out on them. So I couldnt get the 2 dolly's that I reserved alongside the truck.O DHALSIM S.
Was given a truck that smelled nasty. I purchased my own air fresheners and still could not stand driving it. Did not even go buy and move everything I needed to because it was so bad. When I returned the truck I tried to explain the situation but was just talked over by TWO representatives (one who cleans the trucks and the lady working the counter)and told "they know the truck stinks. It smells like something died in it." When I tried asking why they would give the truck to a customer in that condition I was once again argued with and told "that's how it is." This led to a screaming match between me and your employee who cleans the trucks infront of a lobby of customers (not sure why he was even inside to begin with). I told them that is not how you run a business and I would call corporate to share my experience I was told "you call corporate". I did try to call you guys but could not hold longer than the hour I waited. You have the most unprofessional staff at your Memphis location on union avenue. The staff argues with customers and say they know problems exist and refuse to fix them. I will never be using your service again nor will I let my friends/family after what I experienced. They locations computers were down when we arrived. The agent was helping another customer, by calling another location to get her checked in, she did not offer the other gentleman or I the same help and when we asked she was offended. She reluctantly asked the other agent to check us in also. That made us 35 minutes late to get started with our movers and I ended up having to pay an extra hour. The next day when I returned, because I had to do a after hours check in, because we missed the check back in by 15-20 minutes. I could not get the app to work when checking in, when I went back the next day she was very helpful and friendly. I will chalk it up to a stressful day with the equipment not working.Lynette H.
