DANTE L$19,95 sounded like a reasonable rate to reserve a van . I've never rented from U-Haul so I did not know about the "added charges"...mileage charge, environmental charge, rental tax. All seem legitimate but wish I had been told initially. Also, the manager was very rude and condescending.

Linda KLoading and unloading area is too small for when multiple vehicles are trying to load or unload. There's bo other good place to try to do this. Unfortunately the lot is just too small for more than one or two at a time. It's also very inconvenient there is only one elevator so when you have multiple people moving their stuff in and out you end up waiting several minutes just to use an elevator

Kaitlyn MThe staff and manager were so rude. Even the moving helpers abandoned my things. I paid for a key and it was not given to me. To get to storage I was told the elevator was bad, I asked what I should do hence I already picked a van, the manager called the police. I was threatened and treated like a trash. He was screaming at me and 2 men that came with me. It was hard to get them in the office even when you see them, you call they won't attend to you. The manager runs away when you call him for assistance. His attitude can't help any business to grow, even on franchise infact he is not representing the company well. I have been traumatized. I had a horrible experience with Uhaul Amanda Lane, Dallas Texas, 75238. I can't recommend this location even to the devil.

Sonia n | Premières impressionsI'm shook honestly, keeping my stuff at this location was pretty standard actually , it was the shameful tactics after I returned the truck the next day , upon contract signing milage reported on vehicle was astoundingly off by almost 200 miles , upon returning the truck that was used to drive 34 miles from storage to my new place and back , we reported the error and were told that everything was good and we had no worries i even checked out with the clerk and closed my account, upon leaving me and my girlfriend went to the park to enjoy the day and see some old friends, my girlfriend's bank messaged her stating the U-Haul was charging 300 dollars more on her card , without any way of contacting establishment since no calls were accepted and lobby closed at 4 on the day being discussed, i find it highly unclear as to how it's legal to close a contract issue a receipt while pleasantly thanking us for our business only to steal more hours later , I know times are hard but man come on seriously people, just be careful some of the worst crooks smile in your face to distract from their wickedness.

I can tell he is a multi-tasker as while attending to us, he was also able to be helpful to others entering the office. Ngozi OLocal agent very adversarial when I called him about an after hours drop off charge that I was unaware of. He told me it was in the contract, I owed it, should have read it, etc. and was unwilling to credit my account. I was told when I made my reservation that I could drop off the truck sooner than my scheduled return date, but there was no credit for bringing it back early. I was not told about any after hours fees. Anyway, thanks to the courtesy and good marketing sense of Kevin Lindell in the traffic management department, he credited me the $20 fee. It was not about the money, but just being unaware of it verbally, which I admittedly did not read on my end, was not good. Again, customer service for $20 is wise and the local agent at Amanda Lane has no concept of good customer service, but just the opposite. He actually hung up on me when I wanted to discuss it with him more. His name may be Dubois, not sure. Anyway, I will rent from U Haul again due to the good customer service I did receive, but the check in issue was not good and the drop off location agent also not good and should be discussed. Again, customer service is key and bad customer service is not to be tolerated. Thanks Jerry Averyt

Tony JAs I as traveling, it rained and water came into the passenger side front window. I mentioned this to the return agent in Texas. I have a picture if you need to see. When you wash the truck, you will see water leak inside. Also if the agent taking our order can describe if the truck has a dolly, ramp, then we can better select a more suitable truck.

After signing the contract and given a security card and a nap with my unit highlighted I went home to finish loading my truck. I recieved an email where the manager tried to blame me for not answering my phone because I was IN THE MIDDLE OF MOVING line it was my fault his facility rented me a room that somehow after my reservation and in person meeting someone later figured out was rented to another person. This was after business hours and in a Sunday so I was left high and dry without a storage unit causing me to have to pay extra for a truck for another day. The insulting thing is in the email the manager tried to make me the responsible party for now answering my phone WHILE I WAS BUSY MOVING. This is the most unprofessional business I've dealt with on a long time. If you are looking for storage I would look anywhere but here. I even responded to the email to give the manager a chance to redeem himself but an unprofessional person who blame a customer BEFORE taking responsibility for their mistakes is a unprofessional as it gets. This was the most disappointing experience I've ever had with uhaul and even after giving the manager a chance to at least apologize or make me the customer happy he failed for the second time. I hope uhaul can fix these issues and find ways to compensate their customers for unprofessional and inadequate service because if they don't they will lose more customers like me and the ppl I will be forced to tell to stay away because of my experience.
