It’s unfortunate that I have several Uhauls in my city of fort Erie but no one had a truck available.. so I had to drive to st.catharines and drive back .. and then when asked if I could leave the truck at one of the satellite locations o was told it would cost just as much.. I use your services on a monthly basis.. wish there was a “frequent user” deal..

This is the first time I have rented U-Haul equipment. Most impressed with the service and orientation with the equipment. The online comparability check with the trailer and tow vehicle is pretty slick. Carry on. You will certainly be a future rental choice.

When I rented the equipment I was asked if I wanted to return it by 2000h. At the time wasn't sure so I responded negatively. As it turned out I made good time so I returned to the store where the lights were on and the open sign was lit at 1950h whereupon I was advised that returns were not accepted after 1930h. but I could make the return on line on site had no internet access so I suggested I could unhitch the equipment myself whereupon I was advised if I did so I would be assessed a late fee. I returned the equipment the following morning. At no time was I advised that returns were not accepted after 1930h. If this is policy then I think customers should be so advised at the time the rental is made. Had I known this I would not have attempted to return the equipment that evening.

Sunday morning 1 employee was on duty. There was a long lineup and long wait time to get served (me 30 mins.). Worst service I've encountered in a long time. Not the lone male employees fault but the manager's I would would suggest. Have had other problems of same nature at this location.

Reservation for 9a.m. Didn’t get helped until 9:50 a.m and once I was helped they had to “return” the auto transporter first... which means regardless of my reservation being at 9a.m they did not have it ready to be given to me for that time.

The site was down and would not allow me to return my truck after hours, costing me $20 for no reason. I sent an email and have yet to hear back, almost 2 weeks later. In- person good customer service, web support is non existent

I booked my U-haul van for 24 hours, and it was switched internally to 22 hours to accomodate another customer. I did not appreciate that was not asked if this was acceptable to me. Thank god the other customer was able to switch, and the u haul representative was excellent in dealing with this situation. I needed the 24 hour rental due to distance.

When issuing vehicles for long distances try to set customers up with low mileage vehicles. Our truck had 141000 miles on it to go from Niagara Falls to New Westminster B.C. It wasn’t in very good shape. It broke completely down in Iowa. But U-Haul really stepped up for us. Amy was fantastic. She made all the arrangements from towing to transferring our furniture into another truck with a lot less mileage to setting us up overnight in an excellent hotel. We were back on the road the next day. Thanks again Amy.

There were empty water bottles and food crumbs all over. Of course the 1st was a rainy day here and the roof of the 26 footer leaked. Some damage to boxes and contents. Staff was excellent. Don't expect to reach them by phone at the store.

My one complaint is that I had booked the trailer many weeks in advance to be picked up in Burlington, Ontario. I knew this would be a busy moving weekend so took the precaution to book early. Shortly before our rental date, I was advised that there was no trailer available and I would have to go to St. Catherines, Ontario (about a 45 minute drive one way) to pick up a suitable trailer. This is NOT right. I understand the logistics involved in running a business like this but I think that U-haul should have arranged to move the trailer to Burlington without the customer (me) bearing the added cost in fuel and more importantly time. It also added to the stress on the move.

Storage latch was broken. They did nothing about it. I paid a bill on July 31st of 200$ and moved my stuff out august 6th and they wouldn't reimburse me anything. Will never use this place again Awful

Everyone was extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. I used multiple services at this facility for 2 months in between moves, and they were wonderful every step of the way.
