Philip H.Wanted a 26 ft. Glendale location said 20 was big enough. Should have showed us the difference in size since we reserved 2 weeks in advance. 20 was to small. Had to go to a diff location since where we reserved didn't have truck. Then ended up going to another location for 26 ft. It wasn't returned so back to previous location for 20 ft. Left some property in Phx. Didn't fit. Sucks! Back two days early and no credit.

Truck had zero gas which added even more to do on an already busy day.

Tyler S.This is not a location specific complaint, but I don't understand the point of making a reservation and paying in advance to reserve equipment at a specific location if UHaul is going to call me less than 24 hours before pick up time and tell me the equipment is not available at the location I made the reservation and I'll need to pick it up in an entirely different city. There was nothing offered in the form of a discount or anything for the inconvenience. Therefore, UHaul has lost a customer.
Ryan E.While the attendant on duty at the time of pickup was expedient (which we appreciated since we had just walked out of another location ten minutes before) and pleasant (although we would have appreciated knowing we would have to bring our own ratcheting straps), the female at the time of drop-off was arrogant, very dismissive, extremely rude, unprofessional, and condescending. We were overcharged, and she refused to address the issue, turning her back to me and walking away when she was questioned about the issue. Another phone call will be made regarding the details of this unwarranted experience. The day's plans had included renting another vehicle for additional needs on the other side of the city. But... I will definitely never bring my consumer dollars to this location again and possibly never to any of your other locations.

Gary F.My one issue was I was quoted a 6 x 12 with a ramp but the trailer with the ramp is not open the full 6' so calls were made around to this location which had a trailer with the whole 6' being open across back.

Leslie W.They made me, a 65 year old handicapped person disconnect the trailer tongue on a 6x12 cargo trailer by myself when it took two younger able bodied UHaul employees to hook it up. Very disrespectful of not only senior citizens but also handicapped people as well.

Barbara G.I have never been to a uhaul or storage rental facility and not left feeling like i Paid too much or the service was shitty or rude employees that is until I rented my truck from the uhaul on 4240 w Camelback rd phoenix az 85019. And the two young gentleman working there were absolutely amazing, they fixed every issue that came up as there is always something that comes up to get in the way of a smooth experience. But not this time, 1st my reserved truck had not been brought back on time or not at all while I was there. But they were able to still give me a truck that they had since the reserved one was nor there, and they did that when there were no available trucks "according" to the previous 2 uhaul rental locations. But that was not true so once again like I said I had not had been satisfied ever with any u haul until now. They were able to help me with every thing with out being tide or without saying sorry nothing I can do, they should be the example that is set for all your employees.

A scratch not made by me. I understand the mistakes of not looking at my phone to see the text before leaving. The employees should've known of the scratch before giving it to me. Very bad experience for the first time. Probably won't use your service again.

I could not because I moved to Vegas. They said ok we will cut your lock and see if there is any damage and call you while we are doing it so you can see. I say ok. 1 week passes no call. Called them again they say we are waiting for someone to cutthe lock. 2 weeks pass no call. I go to get my things out of storage and my unti was one of the one damaged. Then on top of that i made a reservation for a truck a month before i go to get my things from storage and 7pm the night before i go to get my things Bryce calls saying they dnt have a truck for me. I had to go to another location to get my truck. Instead of doing what the website says "reservation guaranteed. If not $50 off" he gives me $19 off for their screw up. Smh. Ive had nothing but problems with this location and broken promises. Definitely would not recommend them at all!!

This is my second rental of a vehicle in three months and there hasn't that been much improvement in that area. When reservations transfer me to customer service the weight was over 20 minutes long. You are a must find a better way for customers to directly with the rental location.

The fact that people forget items, and, no one even trys contacting the customer, even though this rental location, has all their contact information, is just not right ! I left something when I returned a truck, then forgot it, then I was never notified, by phone, text, or, email, that I forgot it. Then, 24 hours later, supossedly, the manager threw it away , without even trying to notify me !? The employees knew it was mine ! The attitude of the manager, was less than desirable, when I was asking why !! They told me they didn't know who's it was, when the one employee talked to me about it, for a good amount of time ! I personally think they kept it , since it was a tool !! I also think they should have paid for it , since they didn't attempt to call, text, or, e-mail me !! When I showed up a couple days later, I noticed one of this locations window was broken out, the first thing I thought was that someone used the tool to do that ! The manager told me that it wasn't done by a tool, and, that they had brought it inside their building ! I was like , why didn't they hang on to it, or, call the people, who returned trucks that day ?? They responded," We thought it was a weapon, so we threw it away !?? All in all, I did not have a good experience, at the 43rd. Ave. & Camelback location. I did call the complaint line, and, they gave me a $15. Credit, savings on any future purchase.

Thes "tenants," want to run your moving schedule, because if truth be told, they only want us there in certain times of day. Why? Do you ask? Because if they know when they,,,'ll be there by themselves, then they know when is a good or bad time to do their thing. Usually bad. Oh yeah, almost forgot. If they don't like you, you better keep an eye on your car, otherwise they,ll break all your windows out. How do I know? It happened to me. When I informed U haul of what was happening, my issue was swept under the table.THAT WHY I MOVED MY STUFF OUT OF BOTH MY UNITS. The kids a b d tenants can have each other and their facility. karin c. | Premières impressionsAs has now happened 3 times with different UHaul storage locations, I made a reservation online only to show up and it is not available. This is a very common problem with UHaul as they are allowed to overbook their units and can rent them out to someone else even though you have a reservation. It is absolutely maddening when you drive a full truck to a new location, arrive and not have anywhere to put your stuff. UHaul desperately needs to update their software to prevent this from happening. Nobody really seems to care though, they just say that it happens all the time and there is nothing they can do about it. We were lucky enough to get a different unit in this case, but it is not climate-controlled as we had reserved. Being as we will be storing electronics over a very hot Phoenix summer, we are not happy about this at all. But as they will tell you, there is nothing they can do.

When I signed the lease I was charged for one. Then when I opened my unit the was a lock inside which since I had one i figured if i returned the unopened one left in my unit like the reservation online promised i would be credited but was not. Plus when contacting the staff I have yet to hear back regaurding the matter. Not the biggest of headaches just feel like a slap to the face or in other words my wallet.

I wasn't offered a climate controlled unit. it is hot, so tomorrow I'm going to see how hard it will be to switch to climate controlled. It only cost $5 more.

I HAD TO DRIVE ALL THE WAY AROUND UP FRONT 4 different times and still could not get in she wasn't willing to come and show me so I requested my money back immediately . She said she refunded my account very poor customer service . Was not a bit happy to even be at work ... I wouldn't recommend this Uhaul store at all ..
