You guys are great! One of your staff met me in the parking lot which allowed me to show him a dent that was in the vehicle before I picked it up, he agreed it was there before it just had not been entered into the system yet. He then said if I was doing everything electronically for me to leave the unit right there and he would take it and process the return. Poof, I was out of there and you did process the return and there were no surprises, that builds my trust in U-Haul as a company! Thanks again!Richard L.

We attempted to use the contactless phone pickup option. This option did NOT work at all. The verification methods (lease agreement, Passport OR corporate contact) would obviously not work and should no be used for verification. What lease agreement? If you are referring to the contract, call it that! Who carries their passport to the pickup center? Of course no one will answer the call-back at my office phone. I'm at the rental facility!! Plus, with all the waiting for verification, it was much faster to just go to the live agent and rent the truck...which we did!!TODD T.
When I reserved my storage unit over the phone on March 26 the below quote is what I was given. When I arrived from California the desk associate told me it was no longer available and what they had was a more expensive unit at $100+/month. I was quite surprised and upset. Moving your entire life from one state to another you budget for certain things and its extremely important to have fixed costs. I was not expecting the rate increase and Im still sour about it. I will not be keeping my belongings at this location much longer, I feel as though I was unfairly quoted a price and when I arrived I was told there was nothing left for me except the more expensive unit and thats the exact definition of false advertisement. I'm an older adult female and have arthritis in my hands. So it's very difficult to open up jars. As well, turn the key to the ignition of U-HAUL trucks. Plus, I picked a 10 inch truck specifically for the size of my move. I got a call and text telling me the pickup location has changed and instead of a 15 in truck, I was given a 20 inch truck once I got to the changed location. Once I told the young lady that I feel very uncomfortable driving a 20 inch truck, the young lady seemed to have gotten upset with me by the the tone she used while speaking to me. Make sure you have the reservation there when you go to pick it up. This was a terrible experience that caused a lot of issues as I had to go to another location to pick up a truck. Wasted an hour of my time which then caused more issues since I wasn't able to be on time to pick up my items. This is the 2nd bad experience with u-haul in the last 2 weeks. The first car trailer they gave me had a flat, they had the trailer hooked up, the guy left and I thought I should check the tires, one tire had a big piece of glass in it and the tire was flat, good thing I checked it before I left, they should have checked it before they said it was good.DEMETRIUS K.
