The truck I rented had some minor damage spots that were not marked and identified. When I questioned them about this the U-Haul rep said that they were out of the markers and not to worry about it. I insisted that I take photos so as not to have U-Haul later insist that I had caused the various unmarked damages.

A bigger parking lot would help. There is nowhere to park to go inside and rent a trailer When returning the trailer, someone was parked in the return lane shopping inside the location. I had to enter through the exit of the return lane. I unhooked but this person was still inside and still blocking the entrance. Other than that, the rental went okay.

The equipment I agreed to haul across country had been damaged previously and should not have been sent. On the way out of the lot the trailer snagged another trailer in the lot. Luckily the young man helping me saw what had happened. This could have been a serious mistake due to parking two trailers to close. Other than that it went well. The staff were courteous!

I picked up the truck on Monday, March 25th and went to my office and loaded for a food Show. When I got on the Interstate the truck overheated and I took it back to the location. The mechanic added radiator fluid and it did not overheat the rest of the trip to Kearney. When we loaded in Kearney and started back to Omaha it overheated again and I added more antifreeze. I almost made it to Omaha and it overheated again. I again added antifreeze to the truck around Gretna and did make it to the office and unloaded. When I got to U-Haul it was leaking in the radiator. The manager did say he would discount some of the bill so i hope they did? Thank you, Mark Minino 402-680-=3712

I'm pretty ticked off about my rental. I put the starting and ending addresses in when I reserved the truck and literally picked up the truck, went to the starting address drove to the drop off location then to the truck drop off and they said I was 11 miles over on mileage. I had the same experience on my last rental just a few weeks ago. How is that possible? Do I get charged for the mileage to get to my drop off location? I will not be recommending your company to anyone.

Prices don't reflect good usage for simple rentals. I used mine for maybe an hour and I was charged $50 and had to replace gas on top of that

The check engine light was on when I got the truck found a bottle of whiskey under the passenger seat and the check in area smelled like weed and the help was not very professional. But when I checked the truck in the gentleman was very professional in checking equipment in. Just check out was rough.

The shield over the trailer tire only had one hold down strap. There was no safety chain in the front of the trailer (like the previous trailers that I have rented) to attach to the car.

The young black man working that day was not happy. He made it know to everyone there that he was fixing to quit. A very unpleasant person. Even short with people on the phone. Also....they need more help there. I was the 4th one in line and took well over 30 minutes and I even did all my info online for "faster" checkout and still had to show my drivers license and answer questions that I already answered on the Uhaul app. Luckily, I got the nice lady who took care of me and not that young black man. PLEASE WASH THE OUTSIDE OF THE TRUCKS. I had to stop down the road to clean the outside of the wind shield. Outside was so dirty barely could tell it was a Uhaul.

This was a poor experience. I should've look at unit before storing item.Spider are all over this location. The air conditioner wasn't working. No fan being provided Maple street storage units should rent for $50. I always rent UHAUL trucks . I WOULD NEVER RENT STORAGE AT MAPLE LOCATION.

Also, as I moved in and out, the motion sensor lights kept going out and I had to walk down the hall waving my arms to light them up again. I moved out of the unit in February and they refused to document it and kept me in the system as a current renter. They did this for almost 6 months before I found out. This fraudulent behavior has resulted in my account going negative to the tune of almost $800 and U-Haul will not acknowledge the fact that one or more of their employees has either made a huge mistake or is running some kind of scam where he/she is benefiting from such fraudulent activity. Upon discovering that this fraudulent activity was occurring I then started investigating and found out that the unit was set for public auction on the 25th of May, 2023. By U-Haul's own terms and policies the contract for the unit is automatically and immediately null and void after public auction occurs. Again I was billed again for another 2 months. When I discovered that someone working as a U-Haul employee was using U-Haul's brand, system, facilities and customers in a scheme for personal financial gains I was bewildered, shocked and exponentially angered to the point of ending the lives of everyone in the facility, but upon further thought and consideration I chose to keep the peace. Even though I am a highly trained and decorated killer, I try to keep those talents and abilities away from the civilian world and only use them on missions and deployments. I would highly recommend that someone at U-Haul figure out a way to shut this employee ring of bandits down and I mean yesterday.

2nd floor rooms with access ONLY by stairs???? That is ridiculous. I've never been to a single storage facility that didn't have elevators... until U-Haul. And now I know it's normal with them. They are the only storage place I would spread the word not to use. Further, your policy that storage and truck reservations are NOT REALLY RESERVATIONS.. is absurd. I was told "if anyone walks to the counter before you we will give away your reserved unit". Which is exactly what happened when I drove into town and showed up with my truck and movers being paid by the hour. The facility I reserved had NO space. So I was forced to go 5 miles away and then carry all of my furniture up stairs to my unit. A truly awful experience. Your trucks are great. That is ALL U-Haul does well.

I originally moved in on 7/26/22. The entire process took an hour and a half, from the time I arrived with my truck to the point where we actually had the unit and could begin unloading. The staff were completely incompetent, I was passed around like a hot potato until I finally got to someone who seemed to know what they were doing. Once we -finally- got the unit and opened the garage door, we saw at least 15 roaches scatter into the walls. When I brought this up originally to the staff they told me that pest control would be out within the week. Fast forward to Thursday, August 18th - I arrive at the unit to pick up some of my things. There are roaches absolutely everywhere - on my things, on the floor. I'm not thrilled, but I take my things and go as I was in a rush. I called on Friday the 19th to report the roaches and to pay my bill for the unit and then discover that not only can they not find me in the system, but they've rented my unit out to someone else! Eventually, after two hour long phone calls on 8/19 and 8/22, they found "my" unit (wrong unit number, my stuff is not there), and it was listed as being rented by my Dad, who lives in Chicago, and had nothing to do with the rental whatsoever. I had to physically walk to the storage building, open my unit, and show them that I was in the unit that I said I was. I told them about the roaches again, and was told -again- that pest control would be out within the week, which I can only assume at this point is a bald-faced lie. I was given a month of "free rent," but I plan to leave a very public review unless the bug situation is resolved permanently. I have spent a total of 3 hours out of my life trying to deal with U-Haul's incompetence, and now will have to spend countless more cleaning and re-packing my things because they are probably infested with roaches. I am disappointed and upset, to say the least. I rented this unit in the first place because I'm disabled and needed a place to put my things after escaping an abusive ex. Moving and a legal separation are already difficult enough, this storage unit fiasco is absolutely the last thing that I need to deal with. Shame on you, U-Haul.

Oil leaked into my unit from the unit next to mine. I appreciate you putting down some stuff to soak it up. A couple of dead mice, but nothing major. Very convenient.

the move in experience was frustrating. I had to go back and forth from the unit to the office 3 times before I could access the unit. I was not given proper information about the unit and the staff seemed unwilling to assist and one member treated me as if I were stupid.

Hello everything was good except one thing. The old lady promised us a low level storage and that never happened. We had to end up going upstairs to a different storage unit. I dont understand why you would be promised a downstairs and then you end up upstairs.

I purchased the 24 HR access to my storage unit, yet on two separate occasions I was not able to gain access. Not only that. I chose this location due to the fact it had an additional security fence around the perimeter. For over a month the gate to this fence was left wide open due to construction. I was never notified of this or that we wouldn't have access due to construction/pouring concrete. I tried to reach the store by phone on multiple occasions, which is not possible due to the fact that I'm routed to a call center. After you wait on hold for 45 minutes the call center informs you that they know nothing about these units due to the fact that they are managed on the local level. Which it is impossible to reach them due to the fact all the calls are forwarded to a call center. In an effort to find answers I sent an email to the store with my questions about the security gate and not having access. My email was never responded to (over a 2 month period). I then receive an email and text notification from the store saying "there is an emergency with your storage unit, please contact us right away at 402-932-0440." The number was incorrect. It's is not the store number or any number for U-haul. Due to the message, I was concerned about the state of my items, especially since the number I called only ever ringed without answer. I took off work and drove to Omaha to find out what was wrong. Turns out nothing was wrong and my payment was just late. Upon arriving at the store and finding out that the store is apparently using emergency messages to trick people into coming into the store, I went over my issues. The response I received was that I must have not been doing it right because that was impossible for me to not have access. Even though the movers that I payed to move my items (for no reason since I couldn't access to my unit) also tried multiple times. I closed my account and moved my items to another location. It is a shame to see U-haul having such poor business practices, especially when they used to have such high standards.

I was amazed how clean my storage unit was when I moved out. I was an occupant much longer than I expected. Staff was always helpful and accessible. I would recommend this particular location to anyone. Only drawback was no elevator.

The lady that helped me was beyond fantastic. And she legit helped me, , I wasn't sure what to do or how to proceed with some things, but she laid out my options for me and helped me figure it out and couldn't be more friendly and patient I had a great experience and will use U-Haul again.

Some of the most helpful and caring people I've had the pleasure of dealing with. We had a serious accident and totaled our truck and travel trailer in June. We drove back out from Oregon and retrieved our belongings in August. These folks were so wonderful.

4003 was dirty outside and in, and the seal was ripping. It took a foot to the handle to help it slide to locked, yet we were very satisfied for the money, and the staff were extremely kind and helpful.

Almost every time I visited the storage unit I had problems getting the latch to slide into position so I could attach my padlock. Therefore I'm hesitant to use the facility in the future.

Zero stars seems more appropriate. I find it really bad business when a debit card that isnt on file gets ran without permission. Not only has this happened once it has happened twice now. I would never refer anyone after this. When I got the storage unit all the above questions applied.

I came into the facility 10 minutes before closing and was greeted and treated very well. I was able to book a truck and a storage unit within 6 minutes. The gentleman at the desk was friendly and very professional. He deserves a raise and a promotion! I love U-Haul - thank you for helping me.

My only complaint is that I showed up one day at about 6:45 p.m., and the access was already locked. It should've been open until 7. The staff let me in, but I did have to drive up to the store and then back down to the storage area before I could get into my unit. But otherwise, the process went smoothly and we got a unit with a really convenient location.

The unit I had was dirty. It was not swept out. My mattress protector is ruined. It felt like the climate control wasnt working. Something needs to be put over units so people cant climb over in case.
