They did not have the type of vehicle I selected online so I had to drive something else that I wad not necessarily comfortable doing. The front desk lady was super super rude and when she said 'is a different truck okay' i said 'uhh' and she said 'well it has to be'. The van I got had a crack in the windshield when I got in, and spiders in the back. Never again.Danny K.

Your sales man is rude. Reserved a dolly a few weeks ahead of move along with truck. Got there at 11 as scheduled only to be told there were no dollies in stock but we could BUY one??? Then was told if that was a problem we could drive to 13th and Cummings to pick 1 up. I explained there wasn't time since we only had a 6 hr window to rent truck. He didn't offer a little longer to rent or a discount. I said that was ok we would go rent 1 at a hardware place but as a suggestion in the future maybe they should call the customer before pickup time to let them know what they were out of so the customer could adjust accordingly or come earlier to go to the far away location to get the equipment. Please check your cameras as this was an older gentleman ringing me out and I suggested it in a very patient way yet he responded by being short and generally unpleasant. Basically gave me the feeling he could care less about my inconvenience as long as I hurried up and got out of his hair. I've lived in Omaha 45 of my 48 years and myself as well as parents and friends have always used U-Haul for moving. After this experience I would not recommend it to anyone or ever use it again. Remember you're not the only game in town. I do encourage you to watch that tape so you can see that I spoke to him with respect and he didn't give me the same. Make sure you have enough product to cover, even when a customer is delayed bringing back equipment. That way it WON'T inconvenience the next consumer.Tony B.
And.... he even backed it up for me. It would have taken me a few minutes and it took him 15 seconds to thread the needle. Obviously he has done this a bajillion times. Super friendly, super personable. Gotta love nice people.Susan C.
Truck was clean, rental location owner was great but the truck was a piece of junk. Constantly had to air up tires, the front end felt like it was going to fall apart, I could only go 35mph over the mountain passes with the pedal to the floor, and the biggest problem was most of my stuff had severe water damage from the uhaul leaking.Kari L.

Went to pick up rental reserved with confirmation. Non available. Person at desk did not care and would not help to figure out options. Very rude. Not informed. Wait times on your 800 number are 30 to 45 minutes. Center street location. After another long wait I was able to get a rental at another location later in the day. Still not a great experience but at least there was a rental. Maple.street location. I was told by the national 800 support person that they would.have to give me a 20 foot truck instead of a 15 foot truck. However, I would not be charged more. When I picked up the truck I was charged more for the bigger truck.Mike H.

I think the way to improve at U-Haul I have purchase a queen size mattress cover but I thought I had purchased the king I had put it on my reservations when they checked me out to get the truck and then when I came to get the refund off of the truck today the ladies could not find me purchasing the queen size plastic mattress cover so she told me I had to do a store credit in order to have a refund but it's or my paperwork the gentleman that check me out said oh yes I remember you you did purchase that but the lady insisted that I needed my receipt when she could not find it in the computer and couldn't do the transaction for the king size one that I wanted to purchase so I think that was the part that may be the worst I've ever had any service but overall the service has always been greatCAROL J.

Very disappointing, clerk was not wearing a mask when I went to get the truck, my truck was being blocked my a very unhappy truck driver unloading supplies to your facility. He threw a fit because he had to move since he was blocking me in. There was 1/4 tank of gas in the truck, the clock wasn't working, we had to clean the back of the truck before we could start loading it. No blankets or dolly was available for use.
