Everyone was helpful especially Falicia she was exceptionally helpful, but when I went into the store in the afternoon there was a young girl at the counter that was very rude and mannerless in her attitude because the parking at this facility is extremely small she was very demanding on where to park when I just parked to ask why my access card was not working. I felt disrespected because I am Hispanic, she was very ugly how she was talking and looking at me. But other than that it's was good.

Nicole , the manager there, has to be the most awesome, caring, excellent in customer service, beyond expectation! Managers of any facility I have ever met!!I had some unusual circumstances re my storage unit , dating back to 6 years having my things in storage never actually seeing what all was actually taken to my storage. Nicole remembered the situation dating back that far. Worked with me with everything that needed to happen for me to make the trip down to Bakersfield from Sacramento to get my things, finally!! She went beyond the call of duty even as a manager. .I can't say enough about Ms NICOLE!! Thank you Nicole s

My answers are based on the fact that it said I would have 24 hour access to my unit. In which I do not. Also they were supposed to have a lock inside my unit upon me arriving. I had to wait 3 hours to finally locate someone to get a lock. Then my code did not work for the access to the storage area.

We had an older U-Haul lock for our unit. This was noted and a second lock was applied. I did not appreciate that the lock left in the unit was a "must have".

The only glitch was exactly HOW to EXIT the lot as we did not have a remote. A lady pulled up behind us and did something (?) and the gate opened. We will ask more questions on our next visit.

Please consider starting a program for senior citizens and disabled people with disabilities your prices are fair but sometimes it affects senior citizens and people on SSI and SSD keep up the good work thank you Victor G

The 2 young girls that work there are very disrespectful and rude. They do not want to help out the customers at all they just play around while they are working. One of them was trying to get into a fight with me while I had my 2 children with me! It was an awful day and then she threatened me that she was never going to help me with my storage. I prefer pay less in another storage than stay here I love my storage space and the location but because of these 2 disrespectful girls I left.

I was helped by a staff member, a new employee I assumed, who was doing an EXCELLENT job of meeting my needs, that is until another employee rudely interrupted our prospects, causing the new employee greater difficulty. He was verbally abusive and demeaning to the young lady assisting me. There was an additional female employee who's professionalism fell far short when I attempted to gain her assistance in showing me WHERE I was to swipe my entry and exit card for my storage unit. The Manager at this location was very professional and helpful when I asked for her help... her staff however get a 0 for ethical treatment of others as well as professionalism.

Only thing was they had two of their trucks surrounding the entrance of my storage so I had to park further away. What was SO sweet, was that when I opened my unit there was a goodie bag waiting for me with some very needed water & electrolytes packet, along with other items!!

I said no for well lit because the light kept shutting off I had to leave my storage unit just to trigger it to turn back on. I had a climate control unit. This happened often, very inconvenient The staff has always been friendly and amazing thank you guys!!

Nichole was such a joy to work with! She set me up with a storage room, a trailer hitch install and a truck rental in just minutes. AND answered all of my gazillion questions and was still very nice! The storage room was SO CLEAN and looked as if it's brand new. It was a nice surprise to find a little "welcome" bag with a lock, a to-go coffee cup and a pen! I have a feeling this was a "Nichole" thing and it was a nice little touch. Thanks Nichole, and Uhaul on White Ln. This is the best location in Bako.

The exit gate wouldn't open. Noone answered the call nor the phone call. We hope that isn't a regular occurrence.

My things were placed in your location clean and almost like new condition when I went back 1 year later to pick up my things there was Durt all over my things a total loss all of my things were ruined. I made a complaint to the front office all was done is the young lady took pictures. I give this uhaul facility an F rating

I moved to a different storage after my roll up unit was BASHED -IN and forcefully PRIED open with lock intact. The thieves took a LOT. At the time 12/18/20 there were NO known CAMERAS viewing the storage units area. No one appears to actually occupy the front apartment-looking structure and there were often questionable persons of no apparent means wandering freely up and down among the storage unit rows I think some are living in storage units. I believe with the rental of vehicles and sales of supplies kept staff from proper monitoring of the storage units. I have chosen a new facility that does one thing; just rents out storages units. I was pressured to purchase renters insurance upon getting this unit in Jun/July 2020, insurance which is now asking for receipts of my stolen items and since I barely have any and clearly this insurance maybe wasn't right for me I do believe such stipulation should have been pointed out as clearly as the pressure to buy it was. I am glad to see that many new cameras and high tech are finally being installed at the facility. I will use U-Haul again but I certainly would rent another unit only with great caution. Merci

I been with you guys for over 4 yrs property got damaged because of weather. Staff very rude everytime I used your rental department was treated like a criminal. Im a real estate investor. Finally move my business elsewhere

Units sizes were limited due to the pandemic. I wish they had a bigger size than size rented. I had to rent a storage unit so far away from home. Using gate access was easy in and out. I like they provided the .

My unit was tampered with once and broke into the once. When they broke in, they totally ransacked everything. They were not able to get anything on camera because my unit was in a "blind spot". There insurance did not cover anything because the they stated that I provided proof of insurance. I did not have my own insurance. There was also some female living in one of the units at the time. They gave me 3 months free rent but after two months they began to charge me again. I was moved into a new unit that was by a camera. I kept my belongings there a short period longer and moved.

5x10 Storage unit states fits 1-2 bedroom home. Barely fit a one bedroom home. But had good customer service

Autopay did not work but we tried to fix it MULTIPLE TIMES & it still failed. Staff treated me like a deadbeat even though it was autopay not working (exception: Amanda). I expected better from U-Haul

The waiting time for pick up was more than an hour. To respect what they offered they asked to drop off at a different location saying the address was on the contract. No address to drop off.

I noticed after all my belongings were cleared out, how "clean" the empty storage space looked. No bugs or vermin droppings...I had never even thought about it before-my things were kept "bug free"!

I am a U-Haul fan, my recent storage location on White Lane, in Bakersfield, had a crew that all U-Haul employees should model after. They were so intuned to my specific issue.

The door I had to get into my storage was small. I was told that it has a way to keep it open, but it didn't. Your free storage should be large enough to fit the size of the truck rented.
