the lady who gave us the u-haul forgot to send me the text to show the condition and when we told her when we got back she was very angry and treated us very poorly like it was our fault. she showed us pictures from the previous person and asked if those were our pictures which it wasn’t because she thought we were lying when we said we never got the text because she knew she messed up and then later tried to say it was my phone that messed up and she finally tried to send the text and lied saying it was our fault . she said she was just going to ban my account. we did absolutely nothing wrong we have the pictures. when we asked to speak to a manager or get the corporate number she called me and my boyfriend dirty and dusty and came outside to take pictures of my license plate. promise you were never coming back here. also she wanted us to fill the tank more then what we got it on (we have the pictures which and location proof of this as well.) she needs to be fired or something that’s not how you treat a costumer especially when you made the mistakes. disgusting.
DESTINY MI say Thank You to an excellent service Especially grateful to let me know I had dropped the credit card in the rental truck. But the service person texted me and kept the card safe. So appreciated the honesty. Highly recommend the U-haul service on Kingshighway, St Louis, MO
ERICA EThe only problem I had in renting the 4 trucks form you was this last time when I got the trailer to tow my car with. The quick stop place that I was suppose to pick it up from closed early so he told me to just have the main office on Kell to come and pick it up from his store. I do not think that was fair for him to get credit for me getting the trailer when he did nothing for me rented it. The store on Kell in Wichita Falls Tx are amazing people and they were very helpful. They not only went and got the trailer, but they assisted me in taking care of everything to make sure that I got it in order to tow my car to Missouri so please tell them thank you from the bottom of my heart. The team at Kell WEST in Wichita Falls was awesome and I appreciate them.

I think the entrance gate would work better if it were in the southwest corner. I felt like when I entered the storage area, there was a vehicle parked on either side of the entrance gate next to the office. There are also vehicles parked inside the yard which make for some narrow drives through the storage area. They were nice about locking our stall when we forgot to lock it. I did check in and check out on line so renting and releasing the storage area was an easy process. If you need a place that's close to you with good security, it's a good choice. Best time to visit is when everyone else is working or it's a holiday.

Renee MComputer system was down and caused me a 50 minute delay. The drivers side seat cover was literally not attached to the seat, the foam was exposed. And the transfer from paying with a credit card to cash was terrible.

MYA AI returned the vehicle with a full tank of gas. It was given to me with less than half a tank. I know it was my own mis-judgment on estimating how much gas was needed for this haul, but a gas credit would have been nice.

Caleb WEverything went so smoothly and the customer service at this location was outstanding. Every single person we encountered was friendly and helpful. They truly reduced the stress that normally accompanies having to pack and move., especially on short notice as this was. The truck and moving pads were extremely clean and all of the moving supplies that I pre-ordered were ready to go as promised.. I highly recommend this location to anyone.

CHRISTINE HThis entire process is confusing. No drop off instructions were given, and dropping off keys after hours should be an easy process. I made sure to use the app to try to make it easier. But I had to take the keys home and bring them back the next day to make sure an employee received them. DO NOT RENT FROM U-HAUL.

JOHN G | Premières impressionsLionnel is extremely ignorant, aggressive & on a power trip. I've put in a complaint against him 2 months ago and Bill was suppose to follow up with me. Uhaul must be a second chance program which is nice but not at the expense of jeopardizing customers safety. It great his girlfriend or cousin, Lawana C., the general manager hired him. His appearance is unprofessional, the dead of summer of & he has a rag AND a cap on his head. I won't EVER be doing business with Uhaul and will go out of my way not to and to make sure others know about Lionnel make sure single females DO NOT go there alone. Not to mention, apparently Uhaul has a policy to hold onto DL for the rental of a hand truck! How dangerous is this for some people. They close at 5 pm on Sundays & when I asked what am I supposed to do if stopped by law enforcement with no DL or how am I supposed to get my DL back b/c they close early on Sunday, I was told to "Come back tomorrow to get it." I'm hearing impaired & my device recorded the entire conversation including the "Traffic" guy he had on speaker saying, well tell her to leave. Trust me when I say these people are all about the $$$ not your safety. I did have the option of leaving my "bank card"! What's the sense of taking out their "INSURANCE" if they're so worried about a hand truck they're "renting" for 7$? Seems like a scam. Definitely leaving your bank card, or hard copy of your ID with unscrupulous people or anyone can cause a lifetime of issues! It's not worth it!

Paige SNothing to do with the location. But when I went to pick up my reserved truck…the system had my truck at a different location than I had been promised originally. Minor flaw but inconvenient for myself.
SEAN KIt was ok, but the final charges should be stated on the app. I had to contact customer service to see why there was a separate charge for my rental. It turns out it was the "fuel charge". Even tho I put fuel in there right back at the same spot it was when I picked it up.

Erica HAdd signs on the street that street parking is for uhaul trucks only, not customers……. Even though street parking is public property. Your employee was extremely rude about this and insisted on mansplaining for a long time that the (public) street was only for truck parking, when I truly did not care and just wanted the truck I was renting.

Bill FLonel was the best he went out of his way to rent me a U-Haul after two other U-Haul places set my reservation an when I went to pic it up they gave my truck away twice… lonel did everything he could to help me get a truck an succeeded. I couldn't thank him enough he was literally a lot of fun for the bad day I was already havin 2101 Kingshighway. Took care of me don't go to the other U-Haul places in that area they were rude an mean an did not care that they rented my truck out twice on me an I had a reservation. Did not say sorry or nothing … go see Lonel he was the best!!

Rosie VLonnel was so friendly and clearly cared about offering a good service. I heard him interact with other customers and they responded positively to him as well. The process was pretty simple except for some difficulty with check in online. Rating less than 5 stars for the overall location because one of the other worker's attitude made me not want to come back. Lonnel's positive attitude was a reason to use U-Haul next time I move.
Shannon WIt seems your back office is very unorganized. Your representative, Lionel H is very argumentative and talks about customers to "other customers". For example, he was telling a couple that a single lady that he just finished up with is "crazy." Unless he's a certified psychologist he shouldn't be making blanket statements about about customers.

Donna NReserving our 15 foot truck on Saturday, a lady I didn't catch her name was very helpful in showing me trucks to know what size was going to be the best for our move. Lonnel was there to help on Sunday For pick up and he was awesome! He helped us get exactly what we needed to make our move easier! On a hot as heck day Lonnel darted around to make sure everyone was taken care of. Another customer was also commenting on how efficient Lonnel was. Great service!!

RITA PWhenever I have used U-Haul, I have not received what I signed up for. An hour before I'm suppose to pick up my 10 ft truck, they tell me it's not ready and I will be given a 15 ft truck instead I probably spent more money on gas. 25 years ago I signed up for a full day to use a van. The day of, they said I could only have it for a half day due to scheduling. Moving is stressful enough without these last minute inconveniences. The workers though at the St Louis Kings Blvd were wonderful! They shared about how the bottom mirror is your friend and showed me how to put the ramp back up. Thank you! The steering wheel was 180 degrees off.

Thomas Btruck was clean and find with some damage to front bumper. Otherwise looked ok. Staff was very good, attentive and helpful. So I would give excellent to them. Main problem was the engine performance. it was very slow in acceleration even when empty. I rented the same type of u-haul truck previously, so I can compare. I didn't care beacuse I drove the truck only few mile in the city. But I wouldn't trust it on a long tip. I would recommend this location if the engine issues are addressed. It may have been just this one truck.

Molly WBULLET POINT LIST: -Incompetent front desk staff (scheduled me an in-town truck when I was moving out of state, then her manager, Lawana, asked ME to return the truck when I already had it half loaded, like no this isn't my issue to resolve as the customer). Yes, she was a new hire but if your job is to schedule reservations you need to know what to do and what not to do and clearly, she didn't know this basic part of renting the trucks out. -Unwilling to work with me to fix their problem. Since I had already loaded the (wrong) truck it wasn't possible with my travel plans to take time out of my morning to go return their truck to them. I proposed that they drive to my location (less than ten minutes away) and assist with swapping out my possessions from one truck to another. The initial response was that they "don't do that" but then Lawana said yes, we can do that and swap trucks out. So, after I am told one thing, about 45 minutes goes by and there still aren't any guys with a truck at my house so I call them back and they say oh it's fine just keep that truck...like are you kidding me? It was only AFTER I drove the (in-town) truck to my location several states away and dropped it off that the U-Haul rep at that location told me that the in-town trucks are designated as such because they aren't intended to go on longer trips! So, their resolution was to just let me drive an unsafe truck because they were too lazy and incompetent to work with me and provide a safe truck and move my possessions to a new truck. Utterly unacceptable. -Changed my initial reservation from this location to some other random location in an EXTREMELY unsafe part of Saint Louis, which they then changed back to the Kingshighway location after I called and said it was unacceptable (but only after a lot of back and forth on the phone). So, this was before the issues noted above even came up the next morning with the truck mix-up, just to be clear at the multi-level inconvenience this location caused me over two days. -The manager, Lawana, actually had the gall to hangup on me at one point on the phone while trying to coordinate how to fix their screwup, which is completely unacceptable to do to a customer. I had said I wanted to lodge a complaint and talk to her manager and the response was to "talk to the corporate/regional office" then *click* she hung-up on me. Then, a day goes by, and I get a call from whoever her manager is and the proposed resolution to all of this was to give me $50 off of my reservation...like wow thanks. -I will NEVER rent from this location again and I highly advise that you don't rent from them either. Save yourself the time and trouble and go out to the county somewhere to get one instead.

Charles BHi Lawanda In a 3 time UPS (Seattle Boston and now St Louis) I was unhappily shocked that 16' dimension was vertical. The unit is much smaller than I wanted. For climate controlled and being able to see daylight is not my definition of climate controlled. You were helpful but the representation of dimensions by UHaul corporate)or franchisee)is awful.

Easy sign in process through the app. The truck was empty of windshield wiper fluid and I would have benefited from another small mirror on my passenger side like the drivers side had. alexia j | Expérience généraleLet me say this first I pick this unit and this location because I felt like it would be safe and I also felt like it was a professional environment and the area that was it was in that was a choice of why pick this particular location I literally move my stuff from Illinois to Missouri because the cop, Vance of knowing that I will be in a safe space, but that was not the case . Upon arrival, I noticed that the maintenance man was standing in front of the building at the shed where all the equipment is after checking into my unit and receiving my key, I drive around to my unit, unload my truck with two carts, and up to the second floor, I go, So as I was exiting the elevators the same maintenance guy from the front of the building is standing by my unit asking me if I want help instantly I'm afraid and feeling violated and vulnerable. I just knew I was going to get raped or injured. I noticed he has a broom in his hand and a dustpan with a handle on it and starts walking towards me. I have two carts of belongings, clothes, etc. to put in my unit and I have to walk right past this man, he tells me he's 35 years old and he asked me my name smile and continue to walk past him. As he also continues to ask me if I want help. I tell him no he walks back towards me as I'm going towards my storage unit. He tells me that he has a job there and he has another job. I say that's nice I'm afraid so I'm really trying not to say much to this guy, he says when I saw you come in and I was like wow you are so beautiful so I had to make sure I come up here and holler at you. I'll try not to say the wrong things because it this point he's creepy and I'm afraid for my life so I have to be careful and try to navigate out of this situation where I felt I was in a blind spot because he was smart enough to be behind the cameras where my unit is located he asked me a question I ignored him he says, did you hear me or ask me what in an aggressive way and I try not to give him any type of reaction just kind of smiled and said not too many things the crazy part when I looked up, I realize he had come up to the emergency door to get to my storage unit that was on the second floor and then I really was afraid so I managed to get around him he walks past me spots sweeping the carpet and he says again what's your name? I say Anna he says oh I thought it was Nicole or something like that so obviously at this point, I'm even more &!really afraid because now I've realized he has seen my information off the computer of when I had just signed up for the unit . Stay cautious of the grounds keeper/maintenance guy. His intentions are bad. . He is creepy I was afraid for my life. There was no cameras where he was standing. It was a blind spot where my unit is and I'm afraid to go back to even get my clothes out of that unit I don't know what to do and I'm afraid. No cameras I'm the elevator either. It was like being in a horror movie you get off the elevator in a strange man, standing all the way at the end of the hallway with a dust pan with a handle and a broom in his hand right next to the unit that you're about to rent as I entered the elevator to exit the building. All I could feel like is once this elevator close, just as in a horror movie, his hands are going to stop the elevator from closing and he's going to jump in the elevator and assault me stab me or kill me because there are no cameras and I'm sure this man knows the grounds inside and out. I was the only person moving at that time there were no other customers and this man knew that. something needs to be done and I'm very upset and will be seeking advice in the situation. please be careful young ladies single moms all women any woman do not go there by yourself

It is clearly not a parking area and when asked to move them they gave me a shrug and and turned away. Really didn't care that many of us were inconvenienced, other than that they were helpful.

Friendly, helpful and I'd definitely recommend using this facility for my belongings again. There was a break in the first time I used it and my belongings were still there and they took care of the problem immediately. I also have used U-Haul in wyoming and again they're extremely clean, helpful, and convenient!

Everyone there was always so nice and helpful whenever I checked in. Tempest helped me as well and she was great getting me checked out.
