We have used the Clack store in Abilene Texas three times within the the last year and very happy with the customer service and how well kept the trucks. Thank you UHAUL.
I wasnt able to complete my rental because there was an issue with the lighting. There was only apparently one person working and a huge line waiting so my issue wasn't able to be given any priority. The Tech that was hooking us up had a broken tester so we don't know if it was our issue or the trailers issue. I dont understand how a place that hooks up wiring can only have one tester and it be broken. The Tech supposedly looked for a replacement. I was offered no option other than sorry we cant hook this up. Additionally, i called in to verify my refund and was told by the corporate answering service they would have the location GM call.This has yet to happen a week later. I have NOT received a refund and have no paid for a rental I did NOT use.

The representatives at the location were rude except for the GM would definitely not be returning for any business

Nothing really...the synch between the phone app (by the rep) and the system didn't seem to be working too well, but otherwise it was fine.
Very Helpful and informative staff helped me get going so I could leave before icy weather hit the area ! I Thank Them !

I would not recommend nor will I ever use Uhaul again. Your customer service is pathetic. I was on hold for 29 minutes then the person I talked to transferred me to customer service and I was on hold another 12 minutes. I never received documents I was trying to get. I don't want to hear from you I'm done
They only care about YOUR money.
For A Monday there was only one employee at the register and they had 8 people in line. Poorly staffed.
It takes so long you have to plan to wait 30 to 60 minutes even if there is no line.
Elaine, the young woman who helped us, was fantastic. Above and beyond customer service and diligent worker. Justin stone, however, was rude, blatantly lied to my face, hygienicly negligent, below expected customer service, and a poor example of what is expected from a Uhaul employee
Our Manager that helped Us she was amazing help especially being Christmas Eve an hour after office closed at 4pm, Don done everything to help us on getting what we needed done! Thank you
Went on a Saturday morning to this location and they had two people working the counter running back and forth. Good workers. Took about 45 minutes or so with 8 to 10 People in front of me in line. 15' truck was clean and ready to go, good tires. The location could have used another worker probably, had a lot of business.
Tell your customers all their cost instead of just charging their credit cards at your discretion. Rip off artists
The operators of this location were great. My problem lies with Uhaul and it's policies/operations as a whole. This was the second time I've made a reservation online with uhaul that didn't have the equipment that was on the reservation. The online reservation doesn't fully check equipment at their locations and can lead frustration and last minute plan changes.

Ms Goodwill , is always helpful and customer oriented. She solved a big problem by researching a trailer to haul my off road utility vehicle. Great experience!

Took an hour to pick up my Uhaul. Only one person was available to check everyone out on a busy Saturday morning.

The representative that I rented the u-haul from lied to me & said that I would get my $100 deposit back that I paid at his location once I turned in the u-haul at the Jarrell location & once I turned in the u-haul & asked for my $100 deposit back he stated that they don't have cash there & that the U-haul representative at the Abilene location should have never taken cash from me & said I would get the deposit back at the other end (Jarrell). I have yet to get my money back.
Had they checked the equipment they gave us we would not be in this situation. And NOW we can't get a call back from the GM who seems to be the only one that can resolve our issue.
I registered online and complied with all messages sent to me via text to preregister and follow covid guidelines, when i got to the place my rental was not ready and Dennis complained of having to work all morning long alone because others did not come to work, When i told him is predicament was no reason to snap at me he insulted me worse by calling me an asshole, Totally uncalled for. Rude beyond all reason. Don't do there, go somewhere else.
Hire more people. The wait to get checked out was about 30 minutes. During a pandemic, it's a long time to be exposed to others who may have the Covid virus.

I filled the gas tank to where I thought was the right spot well i noticed on my receipt I was charged 6.19 for 1.9 gal gas. I asked why, he went and checked the truck came back and said it could go either way. So instead of refunding me the 6.19 he left it!! Will not recommend this location!
Great experience all around with uhaul!
Nobody at the S.Clack location answers the phone. To make it worse, their automated system will put you on hold and tell you there is a wait time of 10-15 minutes, nobody will pick up the phone. They know this and don't care.? This is based on several attempts to call not just one instance. I rented a truck for a couple hours. They gave me a truck with maybe an 1/8th if a tank of gas. The contract states customers are responsible for ensuring all vehicles have at least 1/4 tank before leaving the lot. I caught it but the employee who drove the truck to the front of the store should have also. Customer service is poor.

The man that checked my equipment in is the same one that originally set up my reservation. "Justin?" "Jonathan?" "Jeremy?" Sorry, the last month and week especially has been so frustrating its hard to pay attention to details, but he was amazing. Definitely made my stress level balance out. Super good dude. Pay him more. Also, special shout out to "Mighty Mouse" again I didn't catch her real name but she was delightful and got me set up with superb customer service as well as just making me feel like this whole ordeal was going to be okay. The truck worked great and I couldn't be happier. Thank you to this location and its team members for helping me through a difficult period by being great at what you do!
When I went to the storage building it was full of a previous person trash left behind. They then had to clean it out so I could unload the truck I had rented from y’all. Next there is a giant mud hole the size of 5 parking spots right in front of my storage building. I left word that you can’t get into my unit with out walking in 4” deep water. Hopefully y’all get this taken care of soon.
this location is the businessist and largest uhual location i have ever come across. but on 2 occassions now i have showed up with no other customers around and i have to wait a long time before someone will come out to help since their signs say "During Business Hours Please Remain With Your Equipment And Someone Will Be with You Shortly" or some where alongs those lines. so on this return i jsut got out and checked it in on my app

Arron Kay was not friendly at all. It was frowned upon that I showed up early. Website stated that I would receive $50 towards my reservation if what I reserved was not available. 26 trailer was not available so I was offered a 20. I accepted if I also received the $50. Arron went on to tell me that I had just reserved it that same day and that is why they didn't have one available. I actually reserved it 3 days prior. He then went on to tell me I would have to just wait until my reservation time for 30 more minutes, after I was told I could show up early. Showed up at 845, reservation wasn't until 10. I knew I was early, but I I'm glad I was because I waited in line until 930, just to be rudely approached by Arron...
Aubrey was helpful when I dropped off the truck after hours. I called the next morning and she told me everything was taken care of.
When I got my final bill I was charged $224.92 for 7 hours of rental but only had it for 4.5 hours and along with extra fees I wasn't told about. To say the least I rented 19.95 rental and ended up paying $224.92. NOT HAPPY AT ALL!!!!!!!

The man who set up the entire rental, Dennis, was beyond patient, informative, and kind. He was an all star that made the process more than pleasant.
Make the self service options easier. I was approached by an employee while locating my truck, he asked if I need anything and I expressed that I was picking up the truck I was standing in front of. Website directed me to go inside for keys, at which point I stood in line while another employee was helping a pair of men. Eventually the first employee came in, told me to approach the counter, I explained the situation, and he then told me to follow him. he walked in back out to the same truck, and the keys were in it the whole time. Along with his soda and bag of chips, because as he explained to me he was using this particular truck to park trailers. The seats were stained and the check out process took about 20 minutes

* No clear instruction on how to gain access to unit before arriving at facility. Had to stand in line for literally an hour (only two other customers ahead of me) to speak to an employee while my moving labor waited outside on the clock. * Employee claimed the online reservation process was pointless, as they only operated under first-come-first-serve. What is the point of reserving a unit through U-Haul if you aren't guaranteed to get it??!! Thankfully a unit was available, but was on the second floor and had no elevator. * After getting my lock and unit number, I had to find an employee to unlock the unit as it still had a "customer-ready" lock on it. * The automatic sliding door by the unloading area was broken. Could only open it by literally pulling the doors apart. I get that I could've arrived on a particularly busy day, and the facility seemed to be very under-staffed. Even so, there needs to be a better process for handling simple equipment returns and storage unit reservation retrievals that doesn't involve waiting in line for an hour as one customer plans their entire move with the only available staff. Overall my experience with every aspect of U-Haul aside from the actual truck rental has been very confusing, and made our move extremely stressful.
Everything was fine with my storage unit and I'm glad I don't need it anymore ... I missed having my stuff with me at home. Thank you for the use of your storage unit.

Dennis was extremely helpful and I appreciated him having the authority to make customer based decisions (designed for customer service). Everyone was very friendly, helpful, and willing to work special arrangements tailored to customer needs. These are the experiences customers have which drive repeat business. I would absolutely return for business at this location again.
Staff was very helpful and found me a needed larger unit compared to my previously arranged middle sized unit.
the only reason I would not recommend UHaul storage is the cost. It is drastically more expensive than other just as secure facilities.
We have utilized both a storage unit and have rented a trailer before and would recommend there services again.
It took the staff 4 hours to issue me a storage room! I pre registered the previous day and the staff still had issues finding my reservation. The storage room I reserved was given to someone else before I arrived at the facility. I was then forced to accept a larger size at a higher rate. My experience with Uhaul was terrible!!

The entire team is helpful & courteous. They went above & beyond anything I expected or have ever experienced. From the storage unit to the trailer rental, everything was exceptional. Good Management!
In all fairness, I believe the facility was having technical issues with the computer; however, the "secure" door to the storage area was malfunctioning, as well. Spent a lot of time waiting.

Leaky unit and now have an insurance claim open and issues with staff on multiple occasions. Would not recommend facility to anyone.

The store seems understaffed and the employees stretched thin. The check-in process took a lot longer than anticipated. I got charged for extra u-box rent, which is extremely inconvenient.

They check the storage units every night, and noticed when I had locked mine wrong. They put their own lock on it to keep anyone else out!
Several times we tried to use the lift as we rented an upstairs unit and have large pieces of furniture, and it was not operable. I would suggest fixing the equipment or not advertising the feature.
The facility was clean, however when I went to empty my unit, there were mice droppings all over and in my things.
