I'm a bit surprised the truck was rentable as the windshield was cracked. Other than that the experience was flawless from start to finish. Speedy and professional staff got me going immediately and the awesome truck made the trip and moving into a new home very doable. Highly recommend. Thanks!

RAY RMake sure if towing a 4 wheel drive car you get a tow that allows the doors to open. The metal covers over the trailer wheels come up too high and after you drive your car onto the tow you can't get out of the vehicle. I had to crawl thru my window and figure out how to close up vehicle. They should make sure the tow fits the car.

JONATHAN PNina and the crew at this location are amazing! I went in early last Saturday for a few things and the line of customers was nearing the entry door. The staff was processing each person as quickly as possible! I bought some moving supplies and checked on the status of my 26' truck that I would pick up later in the day. They were short one dolly and Nina promised to get me one and hold if for me, she kept her word! :). I don't recall the lady who helped me during the pick-up process, she struggled to overcome many challenges outside of her control and thanked me for my positivity and not getting irritated after 45 minutes plus trying to locate my truck/keys. She didn't charge me for renting 24 pads as an appeasement for the hassle. Thank you Team U-Haul at this location!
SCOTT GI had my reservation to pick up truck at 8:30 am , they opened at 9:00am , since U-Haul transferred me to this location the check in online was not available, when they opened they told me the truck was not available, then after 20 minutes of waiting they said yes , then they gave me a truck of 15” and I rented 26” I had to got back to the office, they couldn’t find the key for the 26” , I waisted 1 hour of my time , I hired people for unloading at 9, I arrived at my location at 10:00, I had to pay them an extra $75.

IAN RWe called to verify the location of pick-up and Savanna was very rude. She gave attitude of not wanting to be there. Get to said location and the attitude got worse. She was helping me with the final parts of the contract, someone else walked in, she just stopped helping me and went to helping the other customer. Would not recommend.

BLANCA VThe truck ramp was broken and we could not pull it out. We had to wait 40 minutes for a maintenance person to come and get it out and work on fixing it before we could start loading. Thankfully the maintenance person went with us to the next destination to make sure we could get it back out.

Alvin MI was cussed out by staff. Only one person was friendly during my sign up. Staff seemed miserable all the time. VERY uninviting. My card was charged without my consent. I did not choose any auto payments. Will not be going back. Definitely would not recommend.

OLIVIA IU-Haul corporate store in Addison, Texas increases profits by adding bogus refueling charges. When I rented a 15' truck, the employee highlighted the fuel level on rental contract at 1/4 tank and told me to return the vehicle at that level to avoid a refueling surcharge. I drove the truck 16 miles and put 2,9 gallons of gasoline in the truck at Texaco, which was less than 1 mile from the U-Haul location. Upon returning the truck to U-Haul, I took a photo of the fuel gauge, which was slightly above 1/4 tank. U-Haul later sent a receipt which included a refueling charge of $57 for 6 gallons of fuel. I called the U-Haul location and spoke with the manager (Phillip). He asked for photos, which I sent. He never came back on the line. It spent 1:28 hours on the call, most of which was on hold waiting for Phillip. I would rate the Addison, Texas store at 0 stars if that were an option.
ROBERT HYour customer service is very lacking; I called one of your locations to get a rental and the service person said that they don't have what I needed there. I ask him which locations would have one, he tells me that it would be a location that has storage. I then ask him if he has the number or location to a storage location and in a condescending tone, he tells me to google it.

GIDEON OSo I rented a van. I went straight to the office to do it. When they give me my confirmation paper it said Pick up. I told him. I don't want a pick up. He said, don't worry we don't have pick up here. When my brother in law came to pick up the van they told him they have no pick up available and send him to another locatin.

Daniel VI was charged an extra day even though I brought back my rental well before the time cutoff for my 5 day reservation. I mentioned the time cutoff at drop off to the staff in the office and they assured me they would take care of it but did not give me any paperwork or a receipt. Later, I received an email receipt showing a drop off time that was after the cutoff, likely when they actually got around to processing the return. I called to have this resolved and received a voicemail from a gentleman who did not address the time cutoff issue but rather stated that I was on video dropping off the trailer on 8/12, which wasn't in question. He didn't state what Uhaul would be doing to resolve. I would like to know that $18,95 plus tax for the extra day billed will be refunded.

Blanca VUnorganized, unprofessional and poor customer service. Phone wait times are extremely long as well as in store. I suggest a telephone etiquette and customer service refresher. Starting with management. This location lacks structure and should have a surprise visit and phone calls from corporate to validate this review.

ALBERTO NYou guys need to improve on the information you requested from certain customers with excellent previous U-haul history. Rented from different locations 5 yrs ago, home owner with great credit and paying with a credit card and your system asking me for 2 references it made me feel some type of way but your representative made up for everything. They make you feel welcome and put you at ease both ladies are excellent check in and check out.

Kimberly MThe truck I rented had its AC break right as I left town. The roadside assistance was unable to resolve the issue and I had to drive the entire way to Chicago with no AC. Absolutely will never rent from this location again, and I seriously discourage anyone from using U-Haul.

Lorene SBetter cleaning of inside the uhaul. My mattress had fleas that I noticed once I arrived to my residence that I was moving to. It was a pain to get rid of them.

Manager then was Matt V and he didn't care when the concern was brought to his attention. Swipe cards never work. For as much money as that store makes, charges for these units and as big of a company U-Haul is the technological part of the system should not feel like it's from 2001. It should be easier to check in/out. the times that the doors are going to be locked and when they will be open needs to be more clear , as well as consistent!

I went into the facility today and I was told that the receipt is false and got the storage on the second floor. Upon questioning the staff told me that the receipt I have is "NOT VALID". For a company like U-Haul to do something like this is absolutely unbelievable and unethical. I believe I did pay extra to get the storage on the first floor which I never got.
