All good.
Very clean and secure facility, I was happily surprised. Staff was helpful and kind. I support people's choices to wear or not wear one, but typically employees were not following mask mandates. In many of my visits to the facility, they would pass within inches of me with no mask at all. As a cancer patient, if I get sick, I can't get treatment. The reason I needed storage was to live with my mom who is immune suppressed, so we could isolate together. If employees don't want to wear masks, I would like them to do it between themselves, but not within inches of my personal space, as what often happened. I don't take it personal, I would still recommend this location

I have been a long time customer, over 14 years. I've appreciated the facility and never had a problem until January 2021 when my check was received but not credited to my account. When I pointed out the error, it was corrected. Then two weeks later, I got another letter that my account was unpaid. When I talked to the local manager, he explained that someone in Arizona had sent that notice, that my account was fully paid. You can do better.

Didn't spend much time here, only went to return the truck, but the store was impressive, clean and well stocked!
Couldn't rent via mobile app had to delete reservation and make a new one, may as well have came in verses entering my info online. Dolly and pads weren't in vehicle and had to ask for it. Van had trash in the glovebox from previous renter (their lease agreement was there too). I turned van in at end of rental and stated it needed to be cleaned before the next renter because it obviously isn't getting touched up between, which is another story during COVID19. I was charged a $25 cleaning fee!!! Shame on this location.

PLEASE I WAS NOT INFORMED TO CHECK THE LOCKER OF MY TRUCK,AND WE HAD DIFICULTIES OPENING IT,I HAD TO CANCEL THE FIRST CONTRACT .AND GO GET IT OFF ALL AROUND DALLAS,YOU SHOULD HAVE THAT SERVICE,ATTENTION OR HELP, I NEVER HAD ADVICE OF THIS.

I had the most terrible experience with U-haul recently. The mileage on the vehicle was higher than what was on the printed documents issued to me. I only took a screenshot of the dashboard (including gas gauge, mileage and the equipment No.). I only decided to check the mileage when I was returning the vehicle to the mentioned location and that was the when I realized there was a great difference in mileage. I reported the issues and I'm currently waiting on the outcome as my credit card was charged. So sad! People are not doing what they're paid for!

The manager helped, the assistant was lazy and asked me to go back outside to give the man the truck keys. Customer service from the help was poor.
The online return process was not good. It ruined the entire experience. I returned the trailer at about 9:15 PM. When I entered my contract number into the website, it crashed. I called customer support wait time was so long I had to hang up. On the 3rd attempt, the website functioned. The instructions said to drop my contract into the “Key drop off†box to complete the return. The photo for the “Key drop off†box showed it to be just outside of the customer entrance but it was not. It was on the side of the storage pod in the return lane and looked nothing like the photo. The return process took almost an hour.

I received the vehicle with a half tank of gas. It would be so much better if you could deliver with a full tank of gas instead. Moving day is stressful enough without having to worry about finding a gas station to fill the tank before starting your road trip.

I was charged an extra $30 for not putting 5$ in gas in the truck. I only went 27 miles, the tank barely went down so I didn't see the need to put five dollars in the tank just to make it go back up to a quarter so they charge me extra $30 for not putting five dollars in gas l, that's ridiculous. All they want to do is take your money!!! So not satisfied!!! Never again!!

The rep assisting us was excellent!! Very courteous, friendly and helpful. While in line, I was pleased to see an employee politely remind a customer that a mask is required inside the building.......THAT was phenomenal!!

The location did not have the U-Box ready for the moving help movers to pick it up. It was available the next day. I was not notified that the U-Box was not going to be available on selected day. We only found out once the movers arrived to pick it up. This was the origin location.
The front desk staff was rude and not very helpful at all. They seemed more interested in hiding out in the back and hanging out then actually helping customers. I would like to say the staff checking in the trucks were incredibly helpful and made up for the rude front staff.

The online booking process is not good for saving time. The mobile app is not well developed, I was asked to enter all my data more than 5 times. I think the documents required to complete the reservation, should be asked prior the pick up date/time.
Make sure that North Texas Movers is a valid U-Haul contract who WILL answer their phone. The number provided was a cell, with no response. When our box did not show up, I Googled the company and called the number listed. The person who answered told me they do not work with U-haul and was not helpful. This move was very stressful and I will think hard before using U-Haul again.
In dashboard gauge lights were not working
Very disappointed that my truck did not have the added items in it when I arrived. I always use the mobile pick up/return. I had to go inside and wait for them to find my key. They never mentioned that I needed to gather the blankets and dolly from them also. Got to my destination without them. I would never use this location again.
The app experience is a disaster. If you need to make actual contact w/ secondary contact, then you should state that outright in the beginning so the renter can have that lined up. My rental was held up because the contact name that I gave on the fly was not answering their phone at 9am on a Sunday. Had I known this was going to happen, I could have told them in advance so they would have been prepared to answer it.
When placing the furniture dollies in the truck, please ensure they are placed with wheels up so they do not slide all over the place when customers drive away. I had to stop and do just that as it drove me crazy the first 3 miles due to dollies hitting the metal every which way and creating very loud noise. Otherwise everyone was pleasant.

Josiah and the team were wonderful. As always, Uhaul was the best part of my move. I have moved from Texas to California to North Carolina and then North Carolina back to Texas. So I have counted on Uhaul for my East Coast West Coast and Southern moves. Uhaul has never let me down. So if you're interested in doing a commercial, I am available… LOL
STILL not the van in the online pic. It's effing smaller than the van in the pic this should be corrected ASAP IVE HAD TO MAKE EXTRA TRIPS BOTH TIMES. Sorry caps lock was still on but what the f, guys.
The first truck smell like cigarettes, switched me to one that didn't.

Not new, have had a storage facility at UHaul for several years.
Y'all helped us with our storage needs! Very much appreciated. Our only issue was that for the big room, there was a beam running through it, and we were not notified of that before paying and accessing. That can make a huge difference in what you can store in there, so you should definitely let customers know beforehand of any obstacles in their storage unit!

This facility is clean and secure. Access hours are convenient and you can purchase 24 hour access for a little more $$$.

Parking at loading area insufficient. Parked cars weren't loading or unloading. Please mark spots as a loading zone only, not parking.

I have moved out because I’ve moved to Houston. I have never seen a nicer storage facility. It was clean, well lighted, well staffed. And the staff was always friendly and helpful - really nice people. It felt very, very safe there. I will really miss it.
This is our third time using this location. The other 2 were excellent experiences. This time was not. We moved in at the start of pandemic and the customer service then was amazing. They helped my daughter during a stressful time. Exactly what I would expect. About 2 months in we encountered problems when we received a late notice on the unit which was set to autopay... according to our bank, Uhaul was attempting to process a payment with an incorrect zipcode so the bank was denying what looked like a fraudulent charge. My bank explained what Uhaul systems were doing wrong and how they could remedy the situation to receive payment. I called Uhaul and explained what they needed to do to fix it. I spent over two hours on hold Through multiple representatives and then was told their systems were down so they couldn’t do anything but to call back. This was the first day (one day late) but they agreed to wave the late fee. Someone from Uhaul called me later that night to say the fee was added back until the situation was resolved. I called the next day to make sure it was fixed and the (different) staff member was rude, insinuating dishonesty on my part, and claimed “unable to wave the late fee” because they had already done so once. So after spending over an hour on hold that day I had multiple late fees, disrespectful customer service, and no real resolution. Ironically when they fixed the zipcode in their system—the one USAA said was the issue and Uhaul personnel denied could possibly be the issue—my payment was magically able to be processed along with late fees. Clean safe facilities but unacceptable customer service. Would be difficult to recommend to other families of college students because of this level of disrespect.

Although I had a brief and negative conversation with an employee, who was less than friendly about me using the outside dumptser ( he threatened me and told me that dumping was a $100 fine). I then had a WONDERFUL and professional conversation with the General Manager, Josiah, who advised me that I could pay to use the dumpster, and I was HAPPY TO DO SO. Thank you Josiah for your higher level of professionalism and for explaining the policy to me like an adult, as opposed to the employee who talked to me like I dumping my house trash off at the closest dumpster.
I only stored my things for 2 months but my experience was great. I needed 24 hr access but that wasn't offered. Overall very clean friendly staff. Well lit at night no rodents loved it. I will return if I need storage again.

I got a occupied unit assigned but that was quickly resolved.
Baylee was the best. There was a long line and she was the only one at the desk and was dealing with something that sounded really complicated for the one customer and it was clear others in line we’re getting aggravated/anxious. She kept her cool and worked diligently to fix the problem at hand and get to the next customer. Baylee was so friendly when I got to the front and she was so helpful and enjoyable to work with.

Service desk individual very helpful, welcoming, patient, considerate. She took effort to accommodate my slow walking, ensuring I knew where to find my space as well as finding me a space as close to the enterance as possible.

I'm hearing impaired, and the staff were NOT accommodating to that unless I physically came into the store. They would send me emails, but would not respond when I sent emails to them.

The storage costs are too high. The units shouldn’t be locked after being one day late. The late fees happen too fast. The rate should be prorated when moving out.

my uhaul was given away and I was charged for the bigger uhauls milage fees and when i called to get it resolved I spoke with a very rude rep. i am not happy right now.
The facility is nice and they even have 24 hour access if that is what you need. My things were there for a few years due to constant apartment moving but I never had any issues.
Rates keep going up!!!! cant even use the restroom with out a card . Just dont care about good customers that pay on time .very expense!!!!

I think that the check in and out process with the card is a pain and unnecessary during busy parts of the day when there are a lot of people coming and going. Loud alarms with lots of people there!!

This place is great but the upper units are a bit warmer and would recommend bottom units if you're sensitive to heat. I didn't have a problem but some did that I ran into. Would definitely recommend

Had all of my one bedroom belongings stored with Uhaul for two years and four months. Nothing was missing from my storage, everything was in very good condition because of the controlled climate.

Carol, Leroy and Miranda were the great ones that knew what they were doing. Everyone else seemed untrained with poor attitudes. Several leaks throughout the facility that will ruin your belongings.

I have rented multiple times from UHaul. I reserved a truck and completed the online "checkin" prior to arriving. Despite this, the asst manager asked for all my contact info and was rude. Terrilble.
No complaints about the facility, but cost has increased 40% over the time I had the unit, and was no longer in line with my needs. There are decent nearby facilities with more competitive rates.

I stored my stuff here much longer than originally anticipated. The facility was always clean and well lit. I felt like my stuff was very secure and any questions were answered by the friendly staff.
