Truck Was leaking fluid was shaking when we were driving it on the highway and the power steering was super hard could hardly steer on the road

No one greeted me or asked if they could assist me, I stood there for 2 minutes before another lady came from back and assisted me. I informed them I was not happy about the customer service and one lady shrugged her shoulders. I mentioned this to Mr. Billy Eads on Saturday morning and he said he would take care of it and he apologized.

Also, what is the purpose of requiring to have a secondary number before equipment is picked up. And the person on site the day I picked up the trailer had to most rude attitude. I will pick up my trailer from another location or from a competitor

bill A.The uhaul app does not work well. I had issues with both pickup and drop-off where it just stopped responding or had very long delays. I attempted to upload the mileage image four times until I finally gave up.
Les Lusk L.This pick up location was fine however I had very little notice that my pick up location had changed. I called my original pick up location the day before my rental to confirm that it was the correct location. They confirmed and I showed up there on the day of pick-up only to be told that the truck had a maintenance issue and they didn't have one to give me. They indicated that someone from U-Haul was supposed to call me and give me an updated location however nobody every did. I did not have a car so it was very inconvenient for me to get to the new location.
Jordan A.For customers using the app, make sure the truck is in the designated space â€" it's very confusing and hard to find the numbers on the truck. Also, the approval process on the app should say during the final step to “please be patient, approval may take up to 15 minutes.†We weren't sure what was taking so long or if it was working at all. Overall, good app check-in vs waiting in the long line inside. Truck was clean and in good working condition, albeit less than a 1/4 tank of gas.
Robert Y.The truck shuttered for the 600 miles I had to drive. The radio did not work. There was a whistling sound that occurred once I hit 70. The check engine light came on 400 miles from my destination. Fortunately nothing happened, but I was not very assured that I wasn't going to break down somewhere along my trip. I will be trying another moving company for my next move to compare services and trucks.
Christopher G.Ordered appliance dolly, furniture dollys, and pads with my online order and we get there and they have NONE available. I would have gone to a different location if they would have told me this. Instead I had to go BUY these items and added another $276,11 on top of the truck rental. Not a happy experience. Do better with your website inventory or better management.

It was 50 miles away from where I was supposed to pick up the truck, also I had reserved a 20 ft truck and was told I could only get a 15' at the same price This put me in a bind. As I need a truck to move. So now I have to make another trip to complete my move

BRIAN B.After not having my reservation respected as I booked due to lack of truck, I was sent to another store where I received a truck with almost 200 thousand miles, very old and with engine problems.

The poor young lady was juggling three people and moving vehicles to get them ready for customers in addition to trying to show people how to wade through your dreadful online reservation system and answer phones.

The manager on site had my checks as payment for October, but they were lost in transit to the home office. This caused no end in grief for me. The locking of my units, lien notices, etc. I then had to pay for stop payments for my checks, in the amount of $76. No reimbursement from U-HAUL. Then drive to their office to make the payment because U-HAUL lost my payment. To say the least not convenient and costly!

At the Maitland location, the responses would be yes'. Tommy at the Maitland location went above and beyond in servicing the contract in order to meet my needs.

When I reported the theft it took three weeks for the manager to tell me their office couldn't see my boat on their cameras but they had a few more to check. A week or so later I was told nothing was seen on those cameras either. Three times I ask for a different parking spot with no results.

Cleretta L. | Premières impressionsI had two units and one of them got broken into, so I filed a police report and one of the staff members made a comment that they (the thieves) didn't get away with much (how would the staff know what's in my units?) and that she has worked for over 9 years and she has never heard of nor seen anyone ever get their unit broken into the whole 9 plus years that she has worked there, insinuating that I was lying about my valuables being stolen. Her attitude was so unprofessional and rude I'm surprised she made it passed 9 days working there much less 9 YEARS?!?! My unit was broken into on a Saturday and U-Haul didn't notify me until 9 days later! After all that B.S. they never helped me with filing a insurance claim on the stolen items< which totaled over $1700! I will NEVER use U Haul or recommend them to anyone ever again, U Haul is by far the worst storage company that I have ever used!

Bernard K. | Expérience généraleUnfortunately there is no gate or any protection for people using the parking storage area. The cameras alone are not enough. It should be brightly lit, gated with barbed wire to help prevent theft. My boat was broken into so I decided to move it to a more secure storage facility. Filing a police report and providing camera footage will not do anything to get my items replaced. The focus should be more focused on prevention, not capturing theft on video.
