Have all of the equipment reserved, or call before the day of rental informing customer of the inability to fulfill the order.

Sandra S. | Expérience généraleStaff experience was not up to par, after interacting with a representative (Natasha Mackley) upon return of the truck, and being insulted I was not happy with the treatment and services provided here. They did not have a dolly, after a phone conversation that happened asking and being prorated and charged for an industrial dolly. After bringing the truck back, I received a call asking for the whereabouts of the truck that I had already returned. I've been working harder than I should to move, and to be disrespected by a U-Haul representative after following up with the request made for me to show back up in person is quite baffling. The representative chose to force a back and forth between a customer, holding an arm baby in which I denied to take part in. U-Haul is a good company from what I've known for years, however going forward I may try other truck rental agencies and more than likely reference this issue to other people asking what are my recommendations.

Joseph P.This place sucks!!! DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE Not a good Uhall place to talk and rent. I reserved a 15" truck with a dolly for local moves (5 miles oneway). When I picked up the truck, she said they do not carry dollys that I reserved initially with my reservation. So, I have to rent from another store. They did not inform me of this before I go over there. The ruck was trash and the check engine light turned on and very hard to close and open the rear shutter. I know how many miles I drove (up and down, ~47 miles, including the drive to the store). I put in gas for $30 when I returned the truck. So, they have to charge only $0,99 per mile. But, they charged $111.9, which is cheating the customer. I called the 1-800 number, she said someone call me but no one talked to me. I rented trucks from Uhall many times in the last 20 years with no problems. This is the only place I paid an unnecessary fee because they knew my credid card#.

Jennifer P.I will not recommend U-Haul to anyone that I care about. After making a reservation by phone with the 800 number for a truck & 2 dollys. I arrive on the day of my move and there are no one really cares. I was basically told that calling the 800 number for reservations was a waste of time since those agents do not know the inventory of the individual stores. I wasted precious time on the phone looking for dolly's and found none. One of the agents told me I should just be glad to have a truck!!! That's like making reservations for a rental car, arriving and receiving a car but no doors. I was extremely angry and disappointed. I did everything I was supposed to do for a smooth move. In the end, I purchased a dolly and the manager took off $50 for my inconvenience. However, my schedule was behind severely for the rest of the day.

JARVIS L.This was the second time that we scheduled a truck and trailer and when we got there, they didn't have our reservation and sent us to another location. Only to be told that they only had the truck but no trailer and would have to go to yet another location for that. Truck was dirty! And on the way to get the trailer, the back door opened and a dolly fell out. We hadn't ordered a dolly. And when we called the 1-800 number, the representative was rude and only gave us a $50 refund to appease us. It was so frustrating and several hours later we were able to finally get on the road, getting us to our new house much later and dark outside, so weren't able to start unloading. Worst experience.

The unit came with a free lock as stated online I was denied the lock at first after asking to speak with manager i over heard him say he was busy. After 15 mins they gave me the lock. After allowing them to. Check in my truck I received an email of my receipt saying I was charged for fuel so I went back the truck was still at the location had them double check the fuel and Jasmine confirms that I was correct and would let her manager know about the mistake. I still haven't heard from the manager nor have I been returned my 17$

Zachery L.I appreciated a speedy checkout and the man helping me was friendly. There were many scratches not marked by decal stickers, so I was so busy uploading pictures to the internet for the checkout that I didn't get up on the truck to look inside the bed. Previous renter had left 3 trash bags full of cut grass in the bed that had not been cleaned out, which I didn't realize until I got back home with the truck. I called the store back and got no apology or solution, instead I was asked “if it was in the wayâ€. I was moving nice furniture with the truck, so yes, the grass and mud was quite in the way. Spent over twenty minutes bagging, hosing, and leaf blowing the bed (to dry it) before I could get started. If uhaul can charge a $25 cleaning fee, I believe I should be reimbursed $25 for having to clean the truck myself, but that's just me. Truck worked fine all weekend, no issues there. When I went to return it, I felt a little uncomfortable that I was just supposed to leave the truck running outside until an employee went out to check it. I asked for a receipt and was told I would get it via email once the return had been processed. They did not ask me any questions or even my name. Not blaming the employee as much as the system, but if someone were to come up and take the truck before an employee went out there, how would they know I was the one who dropped my truck off and not someone else? Would I have just kept getting charged with them thinking I was keeping it longer? Just felt a little uncomfortable with the process is all.

He said he couldn't provide mile info about our Truck because we didn't book it through him and he couldn't help us with a Storage location at our destination because… some system mom bought jumbo reason. He definitely had a different demeanor from when we checked in a storage unit. UHAUL's first month free with a Truck Rental has really helped us and we are pleased overall with the service.

The units behind the office entry and exit are not easy to load or unload when others are entering or exiting. There are trucks and trailers parked along the buildings making one have to move anytime someone needs to get passed.
