Make sure the person helping you hook up your U haul know if it will work do or you when full. Mine dragged the ground and did not work. I lost 8 hrs of travel time waiting on a store to open to get an adapter to rise the trailer so it would not drag the ground. We did have a problem free trip after that except the gas prices.Annabelle C.

Helpful staff. We had an issue where the original location was going to be on Dickman in Battle Creek but the last person who had our truck had not returned it, the staff there was amazing-- so helpful and accommodating. Would go there again. The Beckley Road staff was nice but the check in process is so slow.Jessica C.

We called because we couldn't find the business which was in a large complex. Thry said it was tucked behind the Harley Davidson dealer. Not being from the area, that didn't mean anything to us. They were unwilling to elaborate. We finally found it and per instructions, waited in line for someone to come out and take care of the return. After 5 minutes nonody showed up so I went inside and got them. He told me that within 15 minutes I would receive a text confiming the return. It's been over 24 hours and no confirmation.William M.

I was not able to utilize the mobile check in as the app was not detecting my location at the Uhaul location. I was on site and the alternative option to scan a QR code didn't work as well. This was frustrating because I was delayed by over a half hour in my pick up because I had to wait to be assisted by an employee. When I returned the cargo van I used I was told that I would receive my invoice by e-mail shortly. I called them 2 hours later because I still did not have it in my e-mail. Yes, I checked my span also. I was told by the female that the guy who was supposed to do it was installing a hitch and that they were short handed. This was on Thursday 4-14. It is now Saturday 4-16 and I still have not received my final invoice. I should not have to call them again to get it. Until I find out how much I will be charged, I am not sure I will recommend this location to anyone.Debra C.

Reservation call center reps and chat personnel were all new or untrained because it was a big mess with transfer after transfer until I figure a solution and it got worked out. Each person I chatted on phone or through chat just were not good problem solvers. Maybe I need to get a job with U-Haul and show how to problem solve properly to give customer the experience to make their life easier while going through the moveDebra I.

The passenger side window was open on the truck given to me and because it was raining, the passenger side seat was soaking wet. Cardboard sun visor was left in truck for me to remove. The truck rented was a one-way rental with less than 1/4 tank of gas in it.Christopher S.

Fix your terrible automated service! I spent nearly half hour trying to figure out how to check out my vehicle when I returned it only to continue to experience a round robin situation. I was SO happy with this storage unit! Very well climate controlled, well lit, wide hallways, and not a bad price! I paid 125 a month for a huge unit WITH up to $5 000 insurance coverage! This was by far one of the worst experiences of customer service I've ever received. The staff was rude and unhelpful and me and my family waited in the rain for 45 minutes for someone to bring us the key to unlock an outside storage. Zac brushed our situation off after I told him the unit was locked.Me and my husband drove around back to the office only to be told no one was available to open the unit. Finally, a severely obese man admitted he didn't want to walk down and so my husband gave him a ride in the truck that we had rented from you. It was the worst, most humiliating and indifferent experience, and all of our furniture was soaked and is probably damaged now. I will be looking for a solution to storing my family's things. The Manager is very disrespectful. And had a unfortunate Family issue . But used it to poor communication skills . I personally was in the store with one other employee of hers the lady asked should I answer that she said No let call center pick it up . Talk to several people from corporate office like a Mr John Gilmore. Yet have heard from him as well . My mother had handicapped items that she needed coming home 4/11/20 . We paid as what was requested but Manager put a lock on the door . She also failed to give me a copy of agreement. So we go back Sat morning to see what happen and She said you was supposed have everything out by 8 last night . I apologize and ask is there anyway I can get my mother's items she had no problem saying No bluntly . A Lady from customer service spoke to my mother and said she called the manager and she refused to even after her request . And was shocked that such CoWorker would represent the uhaul company . So beware of this place because Corp tells you that the Manager of location makes final decisions on to make changes . So if you want to see uhaul corporate greed from G.M. her name Is Frasica Riley . It really makes me wonder on how many other people she has done this too .
