Our biggest complaint is that the customer service rep on site never wants or claims to not know how to have our account show as TAX-EMEPT. We are a college and always show our tax-exempt paperwork and we always get charged taxes. We may have to go to another vendor as this is creating a problem with our purchasing department. We use the location nearest to campus, and that is will now need to be changed for the next project.Renauldo M.

I was locked outside of the unit. The process was not explained to me correctly. I did not realize that is what the YouTube link was for. The assistant manager, Renee talked to me the next day and gave me an extension on my rental. Please remove Jamal's number from the side of the building since he is unavailable after hours. Being a tad bit off on the gas should not charge me an extra $10 and they get upset because â€œthey have to do it.â€ If you don't want to do it then simply don't work there. I saw the rate for miles traveled was 0,75 cents and they charged 0,79 cents a mile. I was very unpleased with my experience. I don't think I will ever go back to this location, maybe any uhaul locations again.Adrian V.

When I picked up the truck, I had to walk almost a block to get it because it was parked very far away. The piece of paper said that gas was at 1/4 full. But the tick mark was slightly underneath. I knew this would be an issue. I only drove the truck 11 miles and before returning it, I put a couple dollars of gas back in it, more than enough to cover 11 mi worth of gas. When I returned the truck, I left it where I picked it up and walked back to the office and they told me that I was supposed to return it to the front of the office but they are going to send someone to grab it. I was waiting for well over 10 minutes for someone to get into the truck and bring it to the office. That there tells you how far the truck was. I was waiting for so long that the cashier told me I can go ahead and leave and she would just email me my receipt. When I finally got my receipt, I was charged a $30 fuel service fee and $8,62 fuel charge for 2 gal gas. I was very shocked. Even if I didn't put any gas in the truck, I don't understand why I need to be charged 2 gallons of gas for going 11 mi. I still have a picture of my receipt showing that I did pay for gas only 1 block from drop-off. I'm very surprised this location up-charged me so much. I have a very negative experience with this location.Juan C.

You need to check lock for u haul. Brought a lock and open it but did not fix u haul. Unable to return it because I open it. This was not right, all lock should fit easily on all truck.michael S.

We were charged extra for the mileage, however we were only given 32 miles. If we drove straight from the pick up location to the drop off location, we would have gone over this mileage. This is absolutely ridiculous to be charged more when it is expected at the beginning to not be dropped off at the same location. Definitely will keep me from using this service againClaire D.

The Baytown location over charged me and gave me a quote for a DE order, I was going to ATlanta. The representative never made the changes in Baytown. The truck brakes did not work properly. One of the CSR was unpleasant not in word but in attitude. She made me feel I was beneath her. She got up and left and another lady came and finished the transaction. We did not understand why she just up and left. We never said anything to her to make her treat us so shortly. We were just in disbelief that we were being treated indifferent by this first woman. We will not recommend the store in Baytown ever. Also, while I never said a word about it to the CSR or questioned it because she already had an indifferent attitude towards us, we just left the questions unspoken, however, while I understand prices are rising, our paychecks are NOT. Please will you all reconsider and lower your cost, only if it's a little. Merci.Yvonne D.

Everything went very smoothly. The employees who helped me at the beginning and end of my rental were very personable, professional and very competent. The only problem I had was with my vehicle self-inspection. It is very difficult to view the photos in the sun. Also, it took a long time to upload new photos using my phone's network. It would be easier to use uhaul wifi if possible. Otherwise, it was a near perfect experience.Carole G.

We rented the truck with trailer to haul our vehicle and the air conditioner did not work in the truck, the battery was bad also. Once the truck was turned off it took an hour for it to start again. We got stranded for an hour on our trip due to the battery. The passenger side strap on the trailer was so frayed we thought it might break at any moment. Everything was Good except I had 3 items that was in storage have mold on them. Not sure if the infamous freeze of 2021 have anything to do with it but, I had to throw away my son's mattress and box spring. I will also have to get my cedar chest refinished, I had an ottoman and a futon along with other fabric items, not sure what happened. Thats why you pay extra for insurance, claim filed. The Male associate was doing all he could to help his customer. He called a few times asking for help. No one responded while his lobby became very full of grumpy customers. I was 2nd in line and waited for an hour to be helped by a lady associate that was grumpy to be helping me. She acted like it was a drudgery to do her job and be tactful. To be brief Uhaul storage was the worst experience i can remember. I was broken into twice in the course of a year.Many thousands of dollars in machines and tools are gone . The first time they cut the lock , they took 2 portable shelves on wheels that had tools, along with (4) evaporation machines valued at $900 each. They also took an electric jack hammer and a carpet stretcher and many other tools.. The second time they broke in they went through all the boxes and took anything of value and put on a Uhaul padlock on the door when they were done that my keys would not open to cover their tracks. The only thing worse than me being broken into was that the staff told me I wasn't the only one... I cant help but wonder how I got targeted when I never saw anyone in my comings and goings..
