The young lady there was helpful however the senior lady was very rude to me. When I went back to ask a query the young lady was attending another customer so she asked the Sr lady to help me to which the Sr lady replied. "That's OK let him wait". She was doing nothing but still refused to help me. When I asked for help learning how to shut the truck shutters, the Sr lady Shouted at me and scolded me that I should've red the instructions first. I have never seen such a rude, angry and racist behavior before. This experience has left me shocked.

Vehicle that was rented broke down in the first hour. Service person requested that we drive the vehicle to his repair location so it could be repaired. Wasn't offered any compensation by staff when the vehicle was returned.

The service was fine. However I rented van with a “full” tank drove drove 45 km and when I filled it up it too 17 liters!! Something not right there.

We had reserved a Furniture Dolly with our 10' truck. When we arrived at the location we were told that this location does not actually have Furniture Dollies, even though it was confirmed in our reservation. We were also told they don't check the reservations to make sure they have what is reserved. We were even told that there actually some sizes of trucks that it will let you reserve online that they don't even have. They blamed it on the computer system being in the U.S. and there is nothing they can do about it and they are just employees. We had a very difficult time with our move without the Furniture Dolly. You can do better U-Haul. This is an easy fix. Either give the locations the equipment that is available to be booked, or take the equipment off the reservation system, or get the employees to check the reservations once they are made to ensure they will have the equipment that is booked. Any time we went in they were just sitting around doing nothing. There's not that many trucks going in and out each day, surely they have time to check the reservation. Moving is stressful enough as it is without the added stress of these issues at your end. Also it should have been made more clear that 10' trucks do not have a ramp. And the location refused to do anything for me, I paid full price for my rental and supplies. I'm very unhappy and will not recommend U-Haul. Feel free to contact me to discuss.

The access to the facility could be better. There is limited space that makes it difficult to load/unload particularly with U-Haul vehicles. The loading bays where you can pull in to get out of the elements or even out of the way of other customers is poor. You cannot fit anything bigger than a sedan in there. Was not able to utilize free month that came with U-Haul rented vehicles.

I ended up having to go to the main U Haul rental up the road. The dealer location (Civic Automotive) had no person there to help me get set up, there was a mechanic there who knew nothing about the pick up and they ultimately sent my back up to the main location and set me back about 45 mins.

The inside of the vehicle was not as clean as I would expect a rental vehicle to be. We were told that there was going to be a 25 $charge if we did not clean out the bed of the pick up truck we had rented. Typically a high rental charge includes a thorough cleaning of the vehicle without the threat of an additional up charge.

Lied to us about pricing and lied about gas fill up and then covered up those lies by saying they switched us to a daily rate cause it was 70 $cheaper then the km rate but the amount they charged for the “Dailey rate” was the same amount we would've been charged by km. That wasn't even every lie they told. I was fine paying what I payed but they lied every step of the way and tried to make me seem like I was the stupid one

This location is garbage the staff are useless. I basically did there job for them as well they don't understand there position and what customer service is. I've rented numerous Uhaul's and this was by far the worse service I've ever received. There is no way I would recommend this location nor would I go back personally. Train your staff because it shows when they don't understand or are comparable of doing the work asked of them. I would like a full refund because I'm so disgusted with the service I received!!!!!!!!

Improperly charged a fuel surcharge while truck was returned with more fuel than it had when I picked it up. When I found the fuel lower than was on my original contract I reported through the app and to the store staff. Despite this, I had to wait on hold for more than 45 minutes to get corrected.

Facility was good. However, management was not professional. I was asked not to do things while others were doing it without complaints. I was asked not to load from doors 1&2 while others were loading freely from those doors! I was asked to move my truck while loading because someone else was trying to load while when I was asking for the same I was told that first come first serve! They effected my business many times and I could loose one of my major brands because of the was they treated my driver.

Convenient location. Friendly staff. However, there was what looked like cat hair on the passenger seat. The passenger window would not close after it was opened once. We had to drive back to Bluewater Drive with the window open. Fortunately, it was a beautiful day.

I thnk more clarity on the drop off procedure after hours. I wasn't aware that before you drop the keys in the box you need to take photos of the mileage, odometer, and inside the vehicle. So I think that should be emphasized to the customer. Merci

The cab of the pick up truck had gravel all through it. I couldn't lay my furniture down how I wanted as it would have scratched it. I almost had to make 2 trips. Also the mileage was wrong. I uploaded a pic before departing with the vehicle and made the note on the uhaul link I was texted but the worker could not access it when I checked out. I think I paid for more mileage since I guessed how many kms I actually did

I know the tank was just full enough to count as full vs really filled up. When I started the needle was pointing at the full indicator and not one smidgen above it so the point is hard to argue at pickup. I drove 72Km and really filled the van up for 22+ litres about 5 minutes away from my return location. So...unless your vans have really sucky fuel economy at 30litre/100km or only 9gal/mile, I am going to suggest that my rental van was not really full and I do feel ripped off. In the future, I will ensure I only put in enough gas to meet the full line and not a drop more.

It's not easy to fit a 20 foot & 26 foot truck in the small space. You are not allowed to block the door & we had to move our uhaul truck several times for people in the parking spaces behind the truck, to get out. There should be a laneway around the back of the building. Also, you cannot hold the elevator open & you're not allowed to leave the bay door open unattended, so for 2 people moving, it's not easy. I would not use this location again, going up & down to the second floor was not convenient at all.

When I picked up the truck I was not informed that I was to look the truck over and confirm via text link that truck was in good condition. When I saw the text the link had expired. The back door loading area was not cleared of snow and the door was frozen shut so was unable to open. We had to clear the snow by hand and use a hammer to move the lever/latch. We then had to boil hot water and pour along the bottom of the door in order to get it to open. This was unacceptable and I was not impressed. The truck should have been cleared of snow and ensured that the loading door would open. It was a huge inconvenience and waste of time when I was already on a tight time schedule.

Found the facility easy to get my things for storage into the unit. Great to have carts and elevator. Allowed myself enough room to access things I may need. Everything neat and tidy and workers emptying the garbage containers.

Customer Contract # 87079685 I am having continually having problems with U-Haul. I rent anywhere from 52 to 65 trucks per year. Example last weekend I went to pick up a truck at scheduled time 5 pm. No truck available . Didn't get a truck until 5;45 pm- Parked truck at our office overnight. Loaded truck in am and went to our destination. When we were finished we reloaded and started the truck and it died. After a period of tine me got the truck running Went to the first set of traffic lights and it died again . Again got it going and went to the next set of traffic lights and it died so all in all I only put 15,7 miles on the truck and it died three times and also the tires are extremely bald and are not highway safe. I am not impressed and I can give you many details of poor service and arriving at your office to pick up a truck and then I am told sorry no truck available you have to go to one of our other locations to get a truck. All of the trucks I book are booked a month in advance If you want photos of the tires on this truck let me know You do not offer good service Garry R Miller

Overall our experience was very good. We did move based on getting a more competitive price from another self-storage facility. One area of concern was when we came on-site to get some items out of our storage unit and stopped by the office before we went to our unit. We were advised that there was a note on our file that we had locked our door improperly and you could actually open the door a couple feet. This was discovered by staff while making their rounds. Nothing was taken from our unit but why wouldn't we have been advised by a phone call or email that there was an issue with how our unit was locked. This would have been the proper way to handle this discovery. this is why you only received an average rating.

I'm writing you this personal email to you regarding my personal experience with your location and your staff. First off you guys were very helpful when it came to a situation where my stuff was  stored without me being there from a separation that I went through and you guys gave me two free months storage so I was very grateful for that. Second of all I am also writing this email regarding a staff member of yours Samantha who was working on Saturday January 9th 2021 and January 10th 2021, she was very friendly and very helpful in helping me find the right truck for my purpose. She was very pleasant I was in a very high-stress situation and she made me feel at ease when it came to making the right decision helping me get my storage locker sorted out and getting me on the road. The facilities are nice and the staff were nice and tried to be helpful. My issue is with the reservation system. I booked a 5x8 unit over a month before I needed it. When we got there after driving from out of province we started to unload. We brought some of our stuff to the third floor to find a lock on the unit assigned to myself. There was a miscommunication and this unit wasn't actually free. There were no units of the same dimensions available. I was offered a smaller unit (not big enough), a unit with different dimensions (which wouldn't work because of my furniture sizes) or a bigger unit for roughly 45 $extra a month. Not knowing how long I need my stuff in storage for, but knowing it's at least a few months this could add up to be quite costly for someone trying to start life over. I was disappointed when the resolution for something completely out of my control would be to spend more money. I was explained this is all of Uhauls reservation policy, which I still don't quite understand. The ladies working were professional and tried to be helpful but overall was still a frustrating experience. If needing to book a unit again in the future or needing to reccomend a spot to someone I would first suggest looking elsewhere to a place that has a better reservation system. I was offered a discount but depending on how long I will require my stuff to be stored I will still be spending more money then initially budgeted for something I wasn't aware could happen.

A customer was taken along time and the staff apologized for the length of time it took to serve me, but it wasn't due to them it was the customer.
