Site did not have the appliance dolly I ordered on the website. I asked the rep to see if it was available at another site but, the rep refused to look at other U-Haul locations to see if one was available elsewhere.robert H.
The overall rental experience was good; however, a few suggestions. We used the online pickup and drop off but that didn't fully work: 1) the truck location was not accurate (different side of building), 2) the moving blankets we ordered weren't in the truck, 3) the directions of where to find the truck # weren't clear enough, and 4) the website stopped responding during the drop off process (not sure if that was the site or my phone). But the rest of the process was good - ability to take photos of damage, mileage, etc. before leaving.Ryan H.

The overall experience was poor at best. We had an 8 am reservation for 20 ft truck at a different location. 10 minutes before pick up, we got a call that a truck was not available. We had â€œoptionsâ€. Drive 50 miles one way for a different truck or wait until 1:30. We decided to wait, inconvenience, but at least a truck. When we got to the new location half a day laterâ€¦they had no truck for us. After a bunch of back and forth, they had a smaller truck just get returned . So at least we had a truck, but super awful experience, a ton of inconvenience and a really long day. Sad part is no one care. This was business as usual for them. Oh yeah, also had customer service hang up on me. That was great too.DEAN J.

The office location has recently changed. The address sent to me is the old location so there's confusion and wasted time trying to find the new location. There's some signs but still old signs pointing to the old location. The people working were great.Randy P.

I had the worst experience with the service and caused me the most stressful I have ever experienced! I rented a truck for two days because I was moving. The place was moving to didn't give me my key on time promised. However, I called the location but the phonesaid, the waiting time was 27 minutes. So, tried online chat and asked the policy of extending the truck and was told there will be an extra fees. Which was fine wit me. However, I was then called by the location to return the truck because they already rented to someone else. I explained my dilemma and she didn't care. She told me if I don't return truck in an hour I will be charged 250 $. I said fine, charge me because I didn't have a place to unload my stuff until I receive my keys. She called me again stating that she rented to someone else and if I do t return it soon she will charge me another 250 $. I called the site and spoke to a gentleman who said they will charge me a one day fee. At 6:16pm, while unloading my stuff from the truck as fast as I could I received a this text message: U-Haul Contract #23195435: Your rental is overdue and Missing Equipment Procedures have begun. We have other families moving and need that truck back by 7pm tonight.Please call us ASAP at 952-232-6356. - To Reply: http://uhaul.com/s/065089C8FEâ€œDeeko H.

Got charged 1500k + from tow/abandoned truck. It was never abandoned and I did exactly what recovery team told me to do. I dont understand how or why I would be charged for 1500k. Deeply disappointed.Chee L.

Truck reserved was not available. Had to wait until â€œsomething came inâ€. Not the fault per-se of the dealer, but some notice would have been nice. They did end up offering a very acceptable alternative after a delay.Mark S.
I rented a 20' truck for noon and ended up with a 15' truck at 2. I only had it for about 4 hours, I think I should have got a break for that. Otherwise, I was okay with everything. The agent was very good.Todd O.

The truck location and time changes for my move no notification this put my move 2 hrs behind and a long drive from where I live. Customer service sucked to say the least. I want my money back for all the inconvenience and being on the phone trying to get a truck sooner with no luck 1,5 hrs later I got to the truck. Your signage is poor on letting us know which building to go to pick up a truck. I watched four other people go to the old building just like I did. We were told that we have to park in the street and not the parking lot at either building. That's not going to sit well in the winter. You should fix that really fast before people figure out that your competition is.william W.

when i reserved the trailer i selected a location near where i needed to pick up stuff. the original reservation was for pick up was for 3:30 on the 13th and to be returned at 7:00 on the 17th in Columbus Ohio.The day of pick up i was notified that i would have to go to another location to get the trailer which ended up being an hour and a half out of my way.I think the trailer could have brought to the location that i reserved it from. When i picked up the trailer the return time had been changed, even tho i asked that it remain the same and was told it had, to 3;00 on the 17th. I received a call on the 17th around 3:30 informing me i was late returning the trailer I told the caller that the trailer would be returned that evening and that 3:00 was not the time I had originally selected. I dropped the trailer off around 5:00 on the 17th nothing was said about it being late or there being an additional charge but after i left i was charged for another day. this should have been covered when i dropped it off not just charged more.JON D.

The gas in the contract wasn't the same in the vehicle buy they told me they fix it but I'm not sure for that. I also got charged for coverage and the employed was embarrassed when I told her why she did that. She promised that will remove next day and will call me back. My reservation was cancelled without any notice. When people move, they need to get out of their location at an specific day, it is not good customer service to cancel a reservation without letting the customer know. By cancelling my reservation I had to incur in other expenses that I wouldn't have had to make if your company hadn't cancelled.Gabriel T.

Long story short..after having to make three trips to this uhaul location to get my tow dolly put on the uhaul truck for liability reasons. I drove the whole way home and the guy didnt even tighten the hitch to the ball. So now when I go to put my car on the tow dolly, the thing flies up off the ball hitch and hits me all up my leg. They are lucky I wasnt straddling it or it came off on the highway. Get better help with peoples lives at steak. Thanks though.Diana G.

The truck was in pretty shabby condition on the outside, lots of damage. Reservation process was easy, but trying to get ahold of a live person. Waited over 1 hour on hold and no one bothered to answer the phone. Retuning the truck was very simple, no problem. You need to improve your emergency phone system.DALE Y.
