Susan S.The truck we rented had a hole in the gas tank, so we were unable to add gasoline. When we returned the van, the u-haul clerk told us that thieves come in at night and drill holes in the tank to siphon gas. We used the truck locally, so we're concerned during the overnight rental that we would run out of gas, as the fuel gauge was not reliable. The engine came on while we were driving. The bright lights turned on and off. The truck was clean and drove well otherwise. I suggest keeping a fuel can handy, so the store can test whether the truck has been tampered with before renting it out.

James D.4200 Wheaton Way facility was NOT HELPFUL. Clerk didn't know how to unload a car. Wouldnt even look at it. He told me to leave the car carrier outside. Also told me I couldn't drop of my truck because they were full, but offered no further help, not even where else i could go. The second facility also said they were full, but did look up my rental and found the place I ould eventually dropped off the truck.
REBECCA L.Complete disrespect for my time, and my property. They should have told me that they haven't installed in my type of car and that it would take longer. I was told it would take 2,5 hours when I arrived on time for my appointment. It took them 45 minutes before they even started work. I waited over 4 hours for them to complete. Their excuse was that the car is electric and that is why it takes longer. Manager was disinterested, said he wasn't here when they started so... Terrible experience would not recommend uhaul for this type of work. Would not use uhaul after this experience.

Robert O.I had a 3 hour drive to get to the U-Haul location so was a little later than expected. The lady that helped me was pretty rude and mentioned how late I was several times even after I apologized and explained the long drive. I was then told I could not get the vehicle I requested because I was late even though there were several outside. after all the back and forth I ended up getting the one I asked for and had it returned several hours early. I was also very surprised that the truck is advertised for $19,99 but after 30 miles and 4 hours it was almost $90.00.

HEATHER H.The only issue I had with the equipment was one of the wheel stops was bent which made it more difficult to get my forward-facing mud flap over and it was missing one of the rubber stoppers on the tie-down chains, other than that the gentleman that helped hook up my truck was very professional and nice, the lady that did my intake paperwork was fabulous, gentleman at drop off was overall mostly kind but seemed annoyed that I didn't want to back into the space given a very short turning radius so he had to go fetch a dolly to put it back where it came from. The actual piece of equipment rode very well without a load, with a load of a 2 300 lb car it was not nearly as responsive to breaking. Fortunately most of the people that were out and about today were not jerk faces and allowed me to drive at the 55 mph speed limit. I was able to unload my vehicle, strap it down and bring it to my mechanic at a far lower price than ordering a tow

Paul H.Bremerton is our GO-TO U-haul store. We actually rented a larger size trailer rather than use another store for pick up. They are always polite, organized, and helpful. The downside? The area has grown and the large inventory can be limited occasionally. We have moved cross country twice with multiple in-town rentals, they're the best!

I have had to ask for the insurance information to file a claim. Terrible service and zero accountability. Both managers should be ashamed of the way they have handled this situation

stan G.The uhaul employee that did the footwork to allow me to rent had personal issue problems about me living in my RV.But it turned out that Uhaul empires is ok with it. So they were all forced to rent to me regardless of their personal beliefs wich led to a verbal altercation. The receptionists revenge plan/ idea was one that put other humans lives at a greater percentage to die.Because of my poor vision at night every car and house that I drove by was at a higher risk of being hit.The well tagged uhaul with extremely well visible labels of the empires name Wich et's everyone know that UHAUL is the company that it represents would have bean notified if a lawsuit was brought on by the city against Uhaul if there was a deadly outcome of her revenge plan. During the rental process at to he office she redirected my rental choice to another completely different size, length,and price with a huge smile making me think that her outburst about my current housing choice was to much to bear so she can was appalogiingw by deducting money from uhaulspocket.Her happiness from ear to ear was oddly visioned..Because it was cheaper I agreed to rent the cheaper less money item.The money that the Uhaul empire set out to make came a distant Last place according to the uhaul employee. Her personal satisfaction of purposely renting me a uhaul with a defective dome light for revenge purposes was important enough to downgrade my original choice for a cheaper vehicle.

Carol V.In order to be guaranteed the uhaul even over a week in advance, I was made to have to return it to the same location. Was told I may have to pick it up over an hour the opposite direction than I was moving and that wasn't ok. Of course I paid the extra $60 to get the uhaul. I have rented several times before and have never been told this before. I will now look to use Penske next time I move.

Zachary S.Overall I am satisfied with the location and service they provided. With that being said traffic control and roadside assistance customer service was terrible. My original van broke down at 1200, Roughly 40 minutes after I rented the van, When I initially called to report the vehicle was incompacitated I was a little taken back to hear 2 hours for an mobile mechanic to come out to condemn the vehicle to get it towed. Fast forward 6,5 hours I'm still on the side of the road blocking traffic and along with a neighbors driveway. Wasting a whole day when it could have been an easy come with a wrecker to retieve the van and drop a new Ven to remedy a mechanical failure that disabled the vehicle. Policies and procedures should be changed to alleviate wasted time when a catrostophic failure occurs.
John M.When I filled out my reservation request it required that I check the box for insurance in order for me to proceed. My auto insurance pays for my insurance on a trailer. There was no mention of an ability to request to decline the insurance until I complained to the U-Haul rep when I made payment. He then informed me that I could have it deleted If I requested before I left with the trailer…..U-haul has lost a customer forever I will post my negative review on every social media website that I have!

This location used to be very convenient, but now appears it is understaffed (the line was incredibly long when the van was returned), which has affected the customer service at this location.

Lonnie M.You cancelled my reservation for a 6 by 12 two days before my pickup to a 5 by 8 and 45 minutes away from reservation at Lakewood WA that I made 5 weeks before and verified twice before appt. We had to leave things behind due to your reservation incompetence. Hook up guy tried to send me on my way with trailer not locked onto my hitch ball. Had to call Newnan Ga office to email receipt hours after return. I've never had trouble with U-Haul before. Why reserve and verify equipment needed if you change it two days before pickup. You really jammed me up and I think some monetary reparations are due.
