RACHEL CGet rid of the Tarjah she was extremely rude. She was eating chips & had her shoes off. She was very disrespectful. I ordered a truck the day before which wasn't available. She did nothing to help me. Which impacted my move extremely. I paid for movers and the job couldn't be done because the truck wasn't big enough. I asked her was it a 2 wheeler in the truck she said no. And I paid for one. And it was one in the truck. She made it seem like I was bothering her.

They went above and beyond to make sure everything with the moving truck was handled smoothly. Their kindness and professionalism were unbelievable, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I would absolutely recommend this location to anyone in need of a U-Haul.
MARQUITA CMy pick up was supposed to be to be for 8 am. I get there and my app says there is to vehicle assigned to my account and that I need to call customer service. They tell me that the facility does not have a key pick up box even though when I made the reservation it did. I had to wait an hour to pick up my U-Haul. Disappointed in the pick up but overall happy with the move.

Carolyn J | Expérience généraleI rate this location average solely due to the customer service aspect. Everyone at the desk did a great job. When it came to the truck itself, that's where things got a little sour. The first truck could barely start and the battery gage was very shifty. The check engine light was on and stayed on. I wasn't going to risk it, so I had to ask for another truck. They obliged, but they had to move another truck that was in front of that one. This made my time on the lot exceed my time allotted for my moving job. Time is money, as the kids say. The second truck started, but was heavily graffitied. This came as a surprise to me, since Uhaul is usually pretty good about getting that removed. I was basically driving around in a gang signed truck. Super fun! That's my experience. I hope you take this all into account. I've been using Uhaul for my businesses for over 20 years, and all and all y'all have been alright. - L

NEKTARIOS KThey only have one person in there and I had an issue and they didn’t answer the phone so I had to use my miles to to drive back up there then when I get up there, I asked the young man a question he tell me that I don’t say hey I say excuse me when I said excuse me twice and he did not answer those young people up there are rude and I gave them a compliment when I first got there to the owner saying that the young man was very nice on the phone but they need to know learn how to talk to people.
ANGELIQUE ADrop off was a breeze and the staff was helpful and friendly.
JEREMY CU-Haul allows you to rent online, pick up in person, complete the pick-up process using a link texted to your phone number, but requires use of the app to return the truck after hours. This is not shared by staff, it is not posted anywhere and it is not part of the rental agreement. They (the company overall) tries to trick you into being double charged. They could easily send you a text with a link for the return process but they do not. It should not be required to download an entire app just to rent a truck for a few hours. Luckily this location was very nice about reversing the double charges but I can only imagine how many people around the country are paying extra for nothing.

ABRAM BThere are times when the doors do not open after using your key card. We had to wait for someone to come out from inside for the doors to open. No one in the office was available for support. Additionally, there are alarms that go off randomly but they are extremely loud. There is not a reason or reason given why the alarms consistently go off and to the extreme that they go off. It's very disturbing.

KEVIN JI waited for over a half an hour to pick up my reservation but there were only two people in front of me. At one point the only person working a desk got up and left with another patron.
RYAN MWasn't sure where to park the vehicle when dropping off after hours. The vehicle return line was put to the street when I got there. So I parked at a loading dock spot. Not sure if that was fine or not.

HECTOR PMy pick up and return were quick. Employees were friendly and professional. Truck was in good condition. The padlock attached to the truck did not work but I informed the employee at return and he said he would replace it. I had my own lock to use. So it was not a big issue for me.
JAMES MOur Uhaul wasn't ready at our scheduled time (requested 7am was was told wasn't ready until 2pm) so we had to drive an hour and a half in the middle of the day earlier for a smaller sized truck. It was extremely inconvenient and my worst experience with a uhaul from years of using them. It almost ruined our entire move but we were able to salvage it. This doesn't have to do with this specific location

RICO R | Expérience généraleAlthough my experience was great at this particular Uhaul location, as it was well maintained, clean and the staff was readily available to assist consumer concerns, the main elevator wasn't always available. It stopped on floors and remained closed, but continued. It also shock violently causing some concern that it would cease to continue and you would be stuck inside. Otherwise then that experience, I would recommend it to others.

I made the reservation online 3 weeks ago, yet was told my unit wasn't available. I was given a different unit of the same size that was more expensive, and it has a giant 36" column in it that takes up an entire portion of the unit. At the very least I should be paying the amount that my reservation was for.

I hired moving help and while the "system" was down and kept crashing and moving slow my movers were on the clock. I had to pay for another hour because time was wasted in the store alone. U-Haul got NO information correct. I was told one thing over the phone and upon arrival it was something else. I reserved a specific truck and then I was told it was given to someone else. I reserved a first floor unit and I was told it was rented out to someone else. This was a complete inconvenience to my moving process and I am NOT a happy customer. Never again!

I pressed the help button and got no response. 3 times! That was a traumatic experience and I am very disappointed.

My friend came in one day after me and rented a larger unit, had longer access hours, and was informed about the parking garage in the back and given an access card. That said, the almost two years I rented my unit were great.

It was recommended I try a different location out in Markham; however I quickly ran out the door after I noticed considerable evidence of rodents because rodents did a number & destroyed everything at another rival storage facility . Though I saw rodent traps were put out at a different facility I decided to store items, I was proud to see a cleaning lady that helps maintain the grounds. I bought insurance & was assured it covers up to $1 000 by rodents. Let's hope I never have an issue w/ rodents! I also noticed ants that appear to be coming from cracks in the foundation so I hope there's regular pest control measures in place to keep ants away too

The issue is that the person that worked the day i moved in didn't check me in properly or give me a U-Haul max card. This was a huge inconvenience because after loading the elevator with all my items the elevator didn't move so I had to leave my items in the elevator so she can give me access to the elevator. The next day I came back and had no access to the elevator. But this time a guy checked me in properly and gave me a U-Haul max card and explained the check in properly.
Shantiera C | Déménagement en ligneWe reserved a truck and a storage pickup for 2pm, got there on time didn't leave til 3pm waiting on the check in process and truck, come back to put our things in storage they told us we don't have one reserved when i had the reservation on paper, had to get a bigger storage (more money), no carts were available for free or to rent, so we had to carry stuff from the truck to the elevator and to the storage unit which was really far. Only to get to the storage unit and it was already occupied! Had to go back downstairs to get assigned to another storage and move the things from the already used storage to the new one. This process took up hours of our truck rental time. One worker was helpful but everyone else was rude and clueless!

Called customer service and all they told me was they did all they could do and we disconnected. Very poor customer service. Next day went to unit and spoke with manager but it took all this to get what I was supposed to get. Had to get another unit that was larger and I was charged for the first month when told I was getting 30 days free. Was given a credit back and I think I deserve two months free. Thank you and would like to hear from you.

I started about 8,4p and was heavily delayed as there wasn't enough carts or other equipment to move items upstairs where my unit was located; After finishing taking several loads up, I had been delayed further as the elevators were extremely slow. At the 10pm mark not realizing that the access changed, I went back to the elevator to go back down to get my last load and waited on the elevator for 15 minutes. I then called for assistance but no one ever responded. I walk down from 3rd floor through the stairs and the hallway was completely dark. I missed a step and fell. I got outside realizing I hadn't lock my unit but upon trying to go up and close/lock my unit, I never could. I had to get up early the next morning and get there as soon as it open having concerns with my unit being open and needed to finishing unloading still needing to turn in my uhaul truck.

They gave me a storage that was occupied by someone else. (4648) I then retain another unit and informed them which unit it was. They never made the correction, so I was forced to pay $200 for a unit I never had and my unit was only $95 plus $10 for insurance. I informed the personal several times in person and by phone that the had me under the wrong unit. Everytime they said they'll correct it, but never did. So basically I was paying someone else storage bill. Then when I went to move out my storage they had the audacity to have a lock on it, but said my storage was listed as unoccupied, so if that's the case WHY DID THEY HAVE A LOCK ON TOP OF MY LOCK?? Smh. I will never use that particular Uhaul storage again (BRIDGEPORT)

Then, when we told manager we were assigned a new storage space that was smaller, and that had a large pillar which made it even smaller. She had told us it was the same size and it was not. Very unsatisfactory!

This delayed the emptying of the unit by one hour, and I had to hire the movers for an extra hour. When I asked the lady at the desk for compensation, she was unwilling to offer me any. I have had this storage unit for almost two years and regularly paid my dues on time. I expect much more professional and efficient service from a big company like U-Haul.

If my code was working I could've been out 2 hours max so that's why i rated 1 star.

Saved my back from moving to the 3rd floor! 2- I rented a van for my small items that I needed an extra day. The staff was really nice. 3rd- 2 young men are the reason I would return. One of them stayed on the phone with me 10 minutes while I waited for my daughter to bring my keys. That was really nice. The other young man was friendly, helpful and answered all my questions and made me laugh even when I was scared when I saw the mouse trap. No mice came home with me. They did when I used another company. Great job Pershing Uhaul!!! I'll see You all again on my next adventure!
