Clean yes, well maintained is another story. The truck I rented needed a wheel alignment real BAD, other than that. The store was clean service was great, the workers great and very nice and helpful. Thank you for making my move less stressful and easy, and get that truck fixed ! !

Originally sent to wrong location which only did local rentals. I needed a one-way rental Chicago to Detroit. Fortunately, the correct location was nearby and had a vehicle available. Suggest get location right the first time

All employees who I encountered at this location over the past several months have been helpful, courteous and efficient. I would return to this location for U-Haul needs in the future. We rented an 8' pickup which is not available at all locations.

Upon getting the equipment I was asked to return the vehicle 13/16ths full. I joked that it was going to be tricky estimating that. She laughed and said I could turn the truck on(not the engine) and watch the gauge as fuel is pumped in. Unfortunately for me, the gauge was stuck at 3/4 of a tank. After putting 50 dollars of fuel in, the gas dispenser shut off indicating that the tank was full, despite the truck’s fuel gauge being stuck at 3/4. I am upset that this burden was placed on me. Why can’t all trucks be topped off before being rented out? This would eliminate the burden of estimating and working with faulty fuel gauges. It is apparent that when the truck is returned without the appropriate amount of gas in it; uhaul not only charges the customer for not returning the vehicle with the same amount of gas, but they also never even fill the tank back up. Instead, they continue to rent the truck and place the burden of estimating and working with faulty fuel gauges on the next customer. I suggest this practice be fine tuned as I am reluctant to rent again unless the tank is full upon being rented out to me. I hope this makes sense.

I made an online reservation. A lady by the name of Andrea called to inform me that I’d have to go to a different location as the one I made my reservation with was unable to accommodate it. I found the same was true for the new location, plus now somehow my reservation changed from what I originally booked, after I arrived. The team member offered me $15 for the inconvience. When I arrived at the final location, the lady on the phone told me she’d call me back in $10 with a code to apply for all the hassle. We waited with no call back, the lady in the office told me to let the office know were I drop it off at, they would take care of me and that I could finally get on the road after 1.5 hours from my original reservation time. She also charged me for 40 miles and 24 hours when I only needed 3 hours and 15 miles. When I dropped the uhaul off the location told me to call the lady on the phone who was sending me to all these locations as they can’t help me either. When I called she was no longer there and the gentleman told me he couldn’t help me either. So I follow up today, get transferred to 3 different ladies, one of whom had to set me straight on the how’s of uhaul operations. When I asked for a recording she transferred me to corporate. Still on hold as I am writing this review..... 43 mins and no one can help me. No one knows what’s going on. This sounds like Worst uhaul experience of my life. I’ll be writing this same review on every yelp and google page of each location. Since no one can help me! Thanks uhaul!

I received a phone call while in route to pick-up my Truck with news that the one reserved was not available. Lucking a larger Truck was available. Pick-up went without incident. The Associate was polite, courteous, engaging and everything went as planned. I returned the Truck parking under the canopy as instructed. I went inside only to discover an empty store. No one was there. After waiting I telephoned your 800 number. During that time a guy walked in. I asked if he worked there and he said not at this location. Long story short, the girl who was on staff had left with no relief in the store. It was being unattended. This guy got on the phone and called someone but then seemed upset or short at having to help me. Reluctantly he did and by the end of the transaction he became nicer but no apology for the confusion.

The first u haul location I went to had me hook up and the running lights didn’t work. After the 3 women working there tried telling me it’s my trucks fault arguing with me for a half hour, they then had me drive to a second location to swap equipment. Furring traffic the trip had me running an hour out of my way and an hour back to where I had to be. A discount should be given for the trio unless or a future discount.

I should not have been charged the extra $10.80 for fuel. We got the truck with 1/4 tank of gas and we returned it with a 1/2 tank. So the charge for fuel should be returned to the card it was taken from. Let's be fair.

HONOR THE AMOUNT THAT IS GIVEN WHEN I MADE MY ONLINE RESERVATION. I HONESTLY DON'T THINK I WILL EVER USE U HAUL AGAIN I WAS GIVEN .99 CENT PER MILEAGE THEN WAS CHARGED 1.59 PER MILE THEN THEY WOULDN'T LET ME MAKE CHANGES ONLINE WHERE IT WAS CONVENIENT TO ME. IT TOOK ALMOST A HOUR WAIT TO SPEAK TO SOMEONE AT THE LOCATION WHERE I WANTED TO PICK UP SHE WAS WONDERFUL IN HELPING ME FINALIZE WITH MY CHANGES EXCEPT SHE COULDN'T GIVE ME THE MILEAGE FOR THE RESERVE PRICE.

Nothing. I have been renting U-Haul trailers since the 1960’s (when you bolted a bumper hitch onto my Camaro.). It is now much easier and quicker to rent and return a trailer, and the equipment is sturdier and has more features. Great trajectory for the U-Haul company.
