I always had a great experience at this location. The staff should be recognized for their professionalism and their quick attention to any concerns I had. The Manager Kate and Assistant Manager Lucy are the best! No matter what concerns or issues I've ever had they were quick to handle them. You have a great team at that location and they should be recognized for their "above and beyond" work ethics. Especially during these trying times when people are struggling across the board. Don't Nicki know over a gallon or two of gas. Customer can only go by the neatest estimate of gauge. Also, explain more in detail why you need to know the excat location of where the move is too. Rather then just "Its rental policy." Plus YOU advertise the use of the trucks per day but yet at 10:30am, I was told I had to return the truck by 6:15pm.?Walter B.

The rental process and my ability to easily drive the cargo van were much simpler than I Imagined and would definitely recommend to other novice users. My only problem was that the storage unit I use was incorrectly locked stating that I had not paid my billâ€¦.this is a serious issue if I am locked out in the future and I'm unaware of it happening. The supposed issue was that I hadn't paid my feeâ€¦.this was quickly resolved once I contacted the office ( they verified that payments were up to date) HOWEVER as discussed above could create potential problems for me in the future if accidental/inadvertent lockouts are done without the renters knowledge.Kathleen G.

I requested an equipment dolly and did not get one. I left the exact same amount of gas in the truck when I returned it as when I picked it up, but was charged $17,5 for 3 gallons of gas. Total ripoff. Will never do business with again.James I.

The original drop off location was on 611 in horsham and the fella named mike was super unprofessional and had a huge respect problem. With the way he spoke to me and was so missed informed with uhaul way of business. I worked there 5 years ago and knew way more then he did. He couldn't seem to understand that one month of rent was free with the truck rental as well as a free lock with the self online storage rental. Over all I completely understand why everyone including numbers and complaints I'm sure you see are the reasons why your horsham location has been failing and completely falling apart. I was proud to say I was a past employee until my run in with mike. And found out through other employees working that had time to actually hear me out and see the prof that's on your websites that I am not the only customer that has had such pleasure to deal with mike on his what coworkers said was a â€œnormal bad moodâ€ if it wasn't for josh being able to help me out and talk to me like a person I would give the horsham location that's across from the national guard base a 3/10.Walter N.

Enter more accurate gas level to start off. My paperwork stated that I needed to return with 5/16th of a tank left, but when I got my rental, it had closer to 1/4 tank. Upon returning the rental, the attendant claimed I would have to be charged $9 for not returning with the same level of fuel. In total, I used the rental to drive 9 miles and after I was done, I put 2 gallons of gas back in (20 miles for a 10MPG truck). I put back double the gas I used and almost got charged for it, but after pleading my case to the attendant, he saw what I meant and removed the charge.Tyler R.

Since I am of the older generation, it would have been helpful to receive more detailed instruction on: 1) when swiping entry card use sliding door to enter since the physical door remains locked ( i didn't see the sliding door open 2)loading dollies are hard to find and not by the entry area 3)you should also swipe your card as you leave which ?? Rented a tow dolly from U-Haul. The U-Haul representative that completed the transaction was very professional, and courteous. The rental cost was also reasonable, and did not require the dolly to be towed by a U-Haul truck, avoiding unneeded additional costs as other equipment rental companies require. The only area that might need improvement is the current U-Haul policy of not allowing the tow dolly to be towed by a Jeep Wrangler with a soft top. I believe this policy is left over from the old problem Jeeps had with flipping over, due to short wheel bases and high center of gravities. I don't think this problem still exists as wheel bases have increased, and the Wranglers have a superb roll bar to protect occupants of both rag tops and hardtops. Since I own a Wrangler, I was forced to borrow another tow vehicle.Robert C.

The young man handed was not very pleasant. I felt he only dealt with me because he had to. He asked for my ID, I hand it to him. When he returned it to me, he placed it on the counter as he did the same with the keys. At no time was he wearing a mask. Customer service needs some work. The original reservation was for a 10AM Sunday pickup at the Langhorne location on Lincoln Highway. The store was locked and no employees were present when I arrived just before 10:00. I would like to have been told everything up front. When went to checkout was told couldn't check out till I went back and took pictures of the empty unit, nobody stated that to me when I did the initial setup. The staff was friendly, the storage facility was bright and clean but we did not feel safe at all moving in. There were several suspicious looking men hanging around the storage building who obviously did not belong there. YOU REALLY NEED TO HIRE ARMED SECURITY GAURDS. The police responded to your staff's call and asked them to leave but when we dropped off the truck, there were more people sleeping(?) in cars in the back area and homeless people wandering thoughout the lot. When I went in person to the office, the staff was friendly and very helpful. I was very impressed at how clean and well-lit the storage buildings are. My unit was spotless. To start, I had a very poor experience starting with the S. 20th street Uhaul location in South Philadelphia about 2weeks ago. Customer service is very difficult to get through. On hold very lengthy times until I got a prompt to leave my # for a call back which was very helpful. I called Saturday early evening. I spoke with a customer service representative to extend my rental truck another evening. When I was talking to the representative, she was having a conversation with someone in her background. Obviously, she was working at home. She never updated the records to change the rental to the Bristol Durham Rd location or to extend the rental another day? Never taken care of.. Very sad customer service!! Mark at the Bristol Durham Rd. Was very exceptional and caring regarding my rental needs on Friday evening, I was in a last minute dismay.. When returning the recently truck to the Bristol Durham location, I was able to meet Mark in person. I wished to personally thank him for his professionalism and helping me.. Amazing works there. I had reserved 2 furniture dollies. They had none. I had also reserved a 15 ft truck. They called me the day before my reservation to inform me that they might not have a 15 ft truck available, and asked me if I would take a 10 ft truck instead. I told them no, because I needed a 15 ft truck. Thankfully they had a 15 ft available when I went to pick it up. Otherwise I would not have been able to move all my mom's stuff who had just passed away from Covid. The 15 ft truck was packed to the door. That really upset me. They indicated in a text that I had made a "Last minute reservation," which was untrue. I had made my reservation a week before. While I was at the same location later that evening putting my mother's stuff in the storage bin I had also rented from them, I stepped on a long yellow metal horizontal pole they had that is intended to keep the dollies from going into the parking lot. It had been raining and it was wet. I stepped on it not thinking about it with items in my hands, and fell face first onto the concrete a step below. It shook me up. I couldn't get up for a few minutes. It hurt really bad. I bled from my face. I now have a black eye with scrapes all over my face. I also have two severely bruised knees that also bled. The yellow metal beam should have rough grips on them. They should not be so slippery. There was also orange cones blocking off part of the entrance to the storage bins with tape on them blocking part of the entrance, which was why I took the route I did, and ended up falling and really severely injured. I did not go to the hospital however because I was on a time limit. I had to have all of my mom's belongings out of her apt before the next day, or I definitely would have. No clear direction on moving in. Where to go or what to do. Was given locker #, code (not needed apparently) and told lock was in unit. That was it. Went to locker and saw a small tag on it that it was ready for user. Thought okay, cut it off and an alarm went off like we did something wrong. Nobody around to help or explain so just went about business. Alarm did go off so hoping everything was fine. Also directions on where to park are nonexistent on premises. I found my locker # on map easily but when you pull into complex there is a wrong way sign where you think you are to go to get behind building. So I keep driving to the end where I think it is going to dead end but realize I can actually get behind the building that way. Then when leaving I attempt to go out the way I thought I couldn't get in at (assuming 1 way, but again no signage) and then I see the do not enter sign is also facing the other way. Are you not supposed to enter or exit at the top of the complex? Only go in and out at the end of the complex? Very confusing. Need signage, need directions on what to do on day 1 to get into unit.Michelle C. | Online Move In

The staff was very helpful. The truck was a great help for me. I'm a senior and it was easy to drive. The ramp to the building was perfect and Kaitlin mapped out where the storage unit was located and I didn't get lost. Merci.Evelyn P. | Premières impressions

My unit was broken into by a homeless person living in the unit next to mine. Almost all of my belongings were stolen. There were many things if sentimental value in the unit along with about $4000. Of items. A police was filed . The told us that they were called on other occasions to evict the women. U-Haul has pretty much told me that they are not liable or willing to help and I need to deal with the police. This is unacceptable for a company as large as U-Haul. Which is why I chose them in the first place. Obviously that decision was of no value. I can not replace the sentimental items ever but I should compensated for my other valuables which I don't have the funds to replace. U-Haul should be accountable for who has access to the storage buildings. Especially since they knew that a homeless individual was living in there!Janet A. | Expérience générale

My items were damaged while inside my uhual unit TWICE! This storage is dirty; there's mice and bugs here. There were mice droppings and countless other damages to my items. Even staff members stated how they don't know clean this facility properly which is why there's bugs and mice inside of the units. DISGUSTING! The managers were absolutely NO HELP what so ever. I would rate this place a zero stars if I could. I'm never renting here again and I'll be sure to NEVER recommend this location to anyone.BRITTANY R. | Expérience générale

The garage door was broken all summer making it difficult to move items in and out. They rarely answered the phone at the front desk or the intercom. And to boot, someone moved in recently who has items that contain extremely foul odors forcing us to move our items out. There is constantly trash and discarded items sitting all around the building.
