When I picked up the truck I was told one price. When I dropped off the vehicle, the price was higher and I did not get my full deposit back. This took food out of my kids mouths. I was charged for gas,, which I could understand, however I did put gas in it. The staff was friendly though and the place was very clean.

Needed a quick rental and was greeted by a nice gentleman that was willing to help me out. I rented a van for the day and it had less than 3 000 miles on it and it was great. Return was a simple verification of mileage and fuel. Great experience!

I only needed to move 1 room of furniture and really just eant3d to rent a pick up. I don't have a credit card so I ended up having to rent a larger truck which of course was more money. I found it very inconvenient, some people just don't use credit cards and renting a pock up shouldn't he any different than renting a box truck.

The truck was good until we got it loaded and would not shift and drive I had to drive it in the manual mode and change gears on the gearshift it was difficult.

Please make sure all Uhaul information is the same online and when talking to personnel in stores. We were told when we picked up the Uhaul truck that we would be charged $0,4 per each additional mile. When we returned the truck (after hours so it was totally online) we were actually charged $1 per each additional mile. That is a huge difference in cost and we were unhappy that the information we were initially told was not correct.

Often times there wasn't staff available. We moved out and couldn't find anyone to tell. When I called it just rang then got connected to a service desk. She said I have to tell them in person. We were an hour away ! I asked why she couldn't just tell them herself. You need better software

I would give this area a much higher rating if the loading/unloading garage areas were available, they have everyone walking from the main entrance and placing people in storage units all the way at the end of the building I'd rather not have to do more hard work after I've already been moving all day. So I was dissatisfied with the fact they won't let you use the garage bays for unloading, also when i tried to disarm my unit at the main entrance it let me but then it kept denying me access to get in the door. Luckily there was still someone on site that could put her numbers in and hold the door open long enough for me to get in but even she couldnt tell me why it was denying me access to the door but letting me check in and out. 24 hour access would be nice as well.

I'm still a customer overall it's a great place. The only thing I wasn't happy with was being charged for some one else's unit. Still waiting for my refund. And still have to fight with my back since the improper payment for the unit made my account overdraft in the middle of a move.

I didn't ask to take a survey you asked me to take a survey. When soliciting someone for assistance of any kind it should be on the person's terms that you are soliciting from. So if I choose not to answer any of the questions above it should be taken at face value and I should not have to complete a survey in its entirety. Any information that I choose to give you should be good enough. Your customer service lacks because of these types of demands that you're placing on consumers. A customer feels that their boundaries are not being respected because when given opportunities to answer certain questions should they choose not to answer them but forcing them to complete a survey you're not building proper trust and relationships with your customers by doing so. Naturally this will probably fall on deaf ears and toss into a pile somewhere to which it will not be taken to heart and thus the brand loyalty and trust continue to decline.

I went to 3 different locations because I was told that they had what I needed. This location ordered my part, and when it did not come in they sent me 2 hours away to pick it up. I went to get the part, only to come back and find out that they had the part delivered and did not bother to call and tell me. I will never use uhaul again.

The truck was clean. But the wheels need alignment and you need to check the suspension. I've driven many different sizes of moving trucks but this was the first time I've driven where I felt as if I needed spinal surgery just from the drive. It made unloading extremely painful and slow. And I was already 2 days behind schedule. On top of that, I was led to believe that the mileage would be between 12-15 mpg and it was less than 10. With gas prices, that's quite a bit of expense which we weren't prepared for.

I never had, not even one roach in my house and I go to check my storage unit and now my things are infested with roaches. This facility is clearly doing nothing for cleanliness and infestation. Also, I have access codes but every time I access my unit, alarms go off and I am unclear as to why this is?

The trailer leaks. The rain was pretty hard on the way, so a lot of my stuff was wet, got damaged. Facilities and staff members were all good but the trailer itself was not good.

Rental mileage was 9 miles. I dropped it off and returned the keys inside. I was charged $10,5 for 2 gallons of gas. I replied back to the provided email address 774075_GM@uhaul.com, and attached the receipt for 2 gallons of gas I purchased just prior to the return at the gas station right up the street. My emails were ignored.

When I first tried to get my unit there was nobody there that knew how to rent me the unit at 10am. After I got my stuff out after a month I had roaches all in my clothes. Bad service and not clean.

The security system card reader for the entrance to my area of storage was not working well and I could not access directly requiring assistance from the office. The card would read in the office but not at the door. Also, I reserved a 10 X 20 unit online but when I got there they said they did not even HAVE 10 X 20 units. The do have 10 X 15 but none were available so I had to rent two 10 X 10 units.

I had no problems but there was another woman that kept setting off the alarm while I was inside. There was also some sort of box that said "poison" in the unit I was renting. Hope you do not have a rodent problem.

I selected Uhaul storage solely because of the first month free. when arriving at the Bristol location, they had no record of my online check in and then they charged me for the first month. This is deceiving marketing and fraudulent. Website says first month is free with one way truck or trailer rental. I will not be staying more than this month.

Arrived at the building for the first time, the automatic doors opened and I walked right in. Went to my unit, opened the door and activated the alarm. Instructions need to emphasize "FOLLOW THESE STEPS OR ELSE" for a better first-time move-in experience. The alarm works great!

Don't know who the lady behind the desk is or what her title is, but she completely ignored me. I stood there for at least ten minutes before the two younger guys called me over to their desk. There was a mistake with my reservations but the manager Joel made it right.

The older gentleman that met me in the parking lot and hung with me throughout the process was excellent? The younger worker at the desk was fast asleep when we approached the desk and had to be woken by the gentleman helping me. The younger man was also very slow in processing requests. He also could not find the size we needed and we settled for a smaller one. When we went to unload, we noticed an empty one of the size we needed. The older gentleman then took over our order as the other man was with a customer. He found the one we had seen was empty and confirmed it was open and rented it to us.

No one explained the access card to us so we have been locked out of the storage unit! This was our first time using a Uhaul storage so had no idea we'd get locked out. Staff could have explained it instead of just handing me the card with no instructions. Access hours are suppose to be 24hrs but access stops at 10pm. Not happy about that either

Only issue i had was with insects! Came out with roaches! Notified them several times throughout the months of storage that hallways and units had roaches.

The employees are great and do anything to make moving and storing easier. The facility itself had trash at the doors and hallway. Had a urine smell. Bathroom dirty.

I moved out a while ago and it took them calling more than 4 times to say my payment was due and me responding with I have told you guys I moved out, for them to finally close my storage unit a month later. There was even mold found on some of my stuff and I had to throw it out and get it replaced even though they have air conditioning. Will not be using this location again :)

Moved out August 30, 2021, unable to cancel storage online on my account the option was grayed out. Could not get anyone at the facility itself to answer the phone, when they did answer the phone they hung up on us without saying a word. In addition I called they hundred number for U-Haul and spoke to a tech they told me oh well you'll just need to go in there, first that wasn't what I was told when I got to the building I was told I could cancel online or via telephone second I have Covid I can't just go in there. In addition it show me owing for September and for October, I moved out August 30 oh nothing. It took nine days before I received my cancellation receipt, the customer service with U-Haul is terrible.

I was a ball of nerves. I'm being evicted . I'm a widow at age 62 and someone thought I was dealing drugs. HOWEVER I FEED THE HOMELESS FROM MY KITCHEN JUST A FEW. BUT I THANK GOD 1 MORE MOUTH WONT BE HUNGRY TONIGHT. SO BE IT I CAN SLEEP IN MY CAR WITH 2 PUPPIES. IM BLESSED....

The storage was fine but billing then trying to rectify was and still is a nightmare. Over charged by $265, drove 1hr 2x to get credit Could not do it, then attempted 2 credits 1st for 104.95. Wrote it for 10,495!!!!! Then to rectify charged me 10,495. Due to this my cc co had to reduce available credit. The CHARGE HIT IMMEDIATELY BUT NOT THE CREDIT!!!! Upset disgusted least how I feel

I moved out of the storage unit on the 19th of the month, I paid for the full month on the 15th and was not reimbursed for the balance of the month, the rent should have been pro rated for the month, I had my rent set up on auto payment and for 9 months my rent was paid on time. This is not the way to treat good customers, I also rented several trucks and trailers from this location. I don't believe I will use them again in the future

I called and asked about getting help to unload my truck before arriving to drop off my U-Haul truck and was told no one could help. When I arrived there was 4 people hanging out behind the desk just chatting amongst themselves.
